Yeah, sure. I had a couple other ideas just on the off chance that it wouldn't fly, so I'll probably use one of those. Don't wanna step on anybody's toes here.

Okay, now here's me actually getting off my ass and doing what I say I'm going to do.

• Name: DLN-001/Rock/Mega Man
• Universe: Mega Man Classic, post-Mega Man 10
• Appearance: The Blue Bomber himself◊
• Background: Originally designed for housekeeping and laboratory assistance, Rock was created by renowned scientist Doctor Light utilizing revolutionary artificial intelligence technology that allowed him to think and reason just like any human being would. He would've been content to carry out sweeping up his father's messes if it weren't for Doctor Wily, Light's former colleague and self-proclaimed rival, reprogramming the six industrial robots that Light had constructed and using them as a platform for world domination. Rock volunteered to go out and stop Wily, and in doing so underwent a series of extensive combat upgrades, transforming the humble housekeeper into a fearsome fighting machine. Thus, Mega Man was born. Though Wily was swiftly defeated, he would return again and again to menace the world with his army of robots, and each time Mega Man would rise up to stop him. This fight for everlasting peace has earned him a few new family members in the process, including Proto Man, his enigmatic older brother.
• Powers: Seeing as he's a robot and all, Rock is blessed with strength, speed, and endurance far beyond the human norm. Attached to his right arm is the Mega Buster, capable of firing a volley of low-damage energy pellets or charging up for a larger, more destructive blast. Another tool in Rock's arsenal is Weapon Copy, an experimental system that allows him to mimic the attack functions of any robot he defeats. However, these Copy Weapons all draw from a finite pool of energy, so he tends to be conservative with when and how he uses them.
• Personality: A hero to the core, Rock is kind, courageous, and possesses a strong sense of justice. If there are wrongs to right, he'll gladly throw himself into the thick of things, even if that means endangering himself in the process. Despite his heroic, do-gooder attitude, though, Rock still has all the grace and maturity of a ten year old boy, and possesses a very black and white view of morality.
• Team: Science

Yay, someone else is a Robot now too. ^^

I've got to ask this, because one of the characters I've got in mind may be a tad too silly.

Would a grizzly bear with a Canadian flag for a cape, vicious monkey sidekicks, super speed and lazer eye beams be too much? It may just be me, but Lazer Bear seems like an awesome character to play right now.

& Didn't think so, just thought I'd check because I'm drawing a blank on characters right now and for some reason my sleep deprived mind thought that'd be a good idea.

• Name: Momohime/Jinkuro Izuna
• Universe: Muramasa: The Demon Blade
• Appearance: Not the most intimidating samurai◊
• Background: Jinkuro was the last remaining practitioner of the Oboro sword style, after he killed his master of course. Being the last master of a powerful sword style, Jinkuro spent his time living it up. He would hunt demons and spirits for money, which would then go into booze and geishas. He was pretty content, until a berserk cat spirit cursed him. His health started to take a steep decline, and it was apparent that he did not have much longer to live. He would need to do something desperate if he wanted to live. With the help of a fox, he managed to get his hands on a sword forged in hell its self and planned on using it with the Oboro style to steal the body of someone else. He had the perfect target too, Yukinojyo, the shogun's right hand man. Everything would have gone perfectly, except he did not expect that girl to jump in the way of his sword.

Momohime is the second and youngest daughter of the ruling clan in the Narukami province. She lived a comfortable life, surrounded by kind people and loving family. Being the second child, there wasn't much expected of her though. In order to strengthen their bond with the shogunate, her father arranged for her to marry a respected individual of the shogun's rule, Yukinojyo. Despite the marriage being arranged, the two of them got along very well. They spent time getting to know each other before the appointed date and would walk through the city together. It was on one of those nights when a man approached them and drew his sword on Yukinojyo. Without hesitating, Momohime threw herself in the way of his sword to protect her betrothed.

Jinkuro awoke some time later to find that his plan went a little awry. Since Momohime was the one struck with his blade instead of Yukinojyo, he was now stuck in her body. On top of that, his sword from hell was missing, making the process incomplete. Despite being the one in control of it, Momohime's body was still tied to her soul. She could occasionally get control of her body, and if anything happened to her soul it would reflect on her body. Now he would need to babysit her spirit to make sure that nothing happened to it, while he searched high and low for his sword to steal a different body. Along the way he came into contact with the spirit of Muramasa himself, would agreed to make swords for them in exchange for the souls required to make them. Thus began Jinkuro and Momohime's journey through Japan, traveling from heaven to hell in search of a way to get Jinkuro another new body and maybe return Momohime to her's.

• Powers:
  • Muramasa: Jinkuro wields a demon sword forged by the spirit of Muramasa himself. It is created with the collected souls of humans and monsters alike. It is said that a Muramasa can cut through almost anything, and can even give the gods pause at its sharpness. Should the blade of the sword break, one only needs and sheath it and give it time. The Muramasa gathers energy from the surrounding area while it is sheathed and uses it to repair the blade. After enough time the blade will become as good as new. This sword does come with a downside to normal people. Whoever unsheathes a demon blade will find themselves overcome with a strong desire to draw blood. It could be the blood of the pure, blood of the guilty, or even their own blood. They will become possessed by the sword.
  • Oboro Sword Style: The Oboro style is one that was created specifically to tame the demon swords. Being one of the last practitioners, Jinkuro is resistant to the blood lust of wielding a Muramasa blade. He is also able to draw out the potential of the mystical sword as well. He can use it to release waves of energy or pillars of energy in the blade's path. Doing so will wear on the sword though, making it more and more fragile.
  • Soul Instability: Due to the incomplete soul transfer Jinkuro used, neither he or Momohime are completely connected to her body. Both of them can fight each other for dominance over the body. One moment Jinkuro can be in control, and the next Momohime is at the helm. Whichever one is not in control of the body follows along behind it as a spirit, something most people can not see.
• Personality:
  • Jinkuro: Jinkuro is more than a little selfish and greedy. If something doesn't benefit him in some way, than he usually couldn't care less. His actions are driven by a desire for something to gain, usually in a roundabout goal to gain eternal life. He doesn't show much remorse for killing people and is fairly unapologetic about it. He knows that he is not a good man, but he just doesn't care. There are times though when he has shown a little bit of compassion, or perhaps pity for those that are obviously weaker than him. He will occasionally humor Momohime and hold back on the blood shed when it does not matter so much. He has been known to be a bit protective of Momohime's spirit, though that could just be because her spirit is still tied to her body.
  • Momohime: Momohime is pretty much the opposite of Jinkuro. She is sheltered and kind, if a bit demure. She shows a good deal of compassion to people, even those that have directly wronged her and her family. When around someone shes comfortable with though, she can be cheerful and optimistic. Surprisingly, Momohime can be pretty brave now and again, placing herself in harms way to save another multiple times. She laments the situation she is now stuck in and it has managed to put a damper on her spirits.
• Team: Magic

Hmm, we have another guy wielding Muramasa in team science. Interesting.

But Sam's one is called Murasama. It's still a Muramasa, there was just an in-universe transcription error somewhere down the line.

Besides which, Muramasa was a swordsmith. No reason the guy can't make more than one sword.
