Most insane swords in video games.

And... I have never heard of such a "weapon" (I use the term very lightly)

The Divine Avenger from Spiral Knights, which has a charged attack that fires three sword-beam thingies that fly in a spread pattern.

When you can make rocket launchers that shoot tin cans and teddy bears capable of decapitating people, I think it qualifies.

...I don't even know what you're talking about.

The Rock-It Launcher from Fallout 3 will launch any props you stick into it. These can actually deal damage to people and you can decapitate somebody with a prop you fire.

Well, there's nothing else to add about the Persian Persuader other than that it doesn't count ammo picked up from the Cart or a Dispenser.

Lightsaber-like Buster Sword with revolver that revolves revolvers as a bonus? Sure, go ask Skelter Helter from No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle.

Also some certain swords from Disciples II deserves a mention... Hell, most of the swords from there deserve a mention. Even a lowly Thug Leader has a vicious pair of poisoned shortswords.

Not as insane as some swords here, but I think the Hymir's Finger/Iron Will from Drakengard/Nier respectively deserves a mention, mostly because it's HUGE. Seriously, the fully upgraded form of it is bigger than a canoe!

Exor from Super Mario, he's the size of an Evil Tower of Ominousness, has to be busted open before your 9999 damage instant kill anyone else even affects him and kicks off The Legend Of The Seven Stars by stabbing a castle. Granted, Mario RPG also has a walking Bow that "shoots" your controller so I guess he's part the coarse for the setting. He's arguably insane in the head though so I still mentioned him.

Another nutty sword from Team Fortress 2 is the Eyelander, which gives the Demoman more maximum health and speed for every head he takes with it, up to 4 heads.

Technically, not a sword. But Nessie's Nine Iron deserves a mention, since it's a golf club with swords properties, same from the Eyelander.*

Magichanged Desco: a sword that's also a Moe Eldritch Abomination.

I don't have much idea what you're talking about, but from the text alone, I can gather that is one of the more literal examples of insane swords.

Not everyone gets Touhou references.

Every Keyblade (particularly the X-Blade). every sword from Devil May Cry (particularly Sparda).

Nyx's sword from Persona3. Have you seen the size of that thing? Still nothing compared to most of the other swords though.

I don't think keyblades are really "blades" at all, they look more like stylish metal rods.

Except for some of the late-game keyblades, of course.

That's Two Across. It has other names, too (Japanese translations tend to have that effect), but I don't remember any right now.
