Hoo, boy.

Well, seems like Butch Hartman has made the internet mad now.

Not that I can blame anyone for being mad.

@Targetmaster Wait. His real name is Elmar?

Isn’t that the name of the nerd with the freakishly huge boil in The Fairly Oddparents?

Who needs to insult him, when he already did it to himself.

[up] Yes, I remember that nerd who had a huge boil named Bob was probably named Elmer. But really, don't be tempted to dox him. I understand being mad enough to want to do that, but it's not worth it.

Why would I? I barely have the means to uncover personal/sensitive information about the guy to begin with. Besides with the given situation, doxxing is just overkill to do to Elmer Fuddman.

Let's just agree that Hartless is a jerk and leave it at that.

Here's a thought-the Magic Muffin, with a little imagination, is ridiculously easy to abuse. The only wish it can't grant is to taste better. So you could wish that whenever you finish eating it, you get another Magic Muffin. Or that your fairies are no longer bound to Da Rules, asides of course from remaining loyal to you.

Imagine if Timmy decided to remove the age limit or the "till they are happy" clause.

Wake me up at your own risk.

I think Timmy tried to rules-lawyer that in one episode and it didn't work out well for him.

My lord does the new search engine make this thread hard to find.

Hrh-hrm. Blast from the past. I forgot these early episodes existed. Look at how different the animation and the voices were.

The sandcastle episode? I haven't thought about that one in a while. Probably the best part was Timmy turning into the Hulk.

I like it when he grows and sends Francis out to sea with a big stomp. Also when he jumps and smashes the tank and roars at Mr. Bickles. Epic scenes to me.

The Baywatch parody jokes with the slow motion were amusing. I didn't get the reference as a kid but they're funny regardless to me.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

Recently, Nickelodeon announced a brand-new live-action series that's a reimagining of The Fairly OddParents! for Paramount Plus, ViacomCBS' rebranding of their current streaming service CBS All Access. There's not too much information known about it yet, other than Butch Hartman surprisingly announcing his knowledge, blessings, and possible involvement in the project.

I don't think Butch will be involved, considering how he left Nickelodeon, I think this was just him acknowledging it happening.

In a recent Hollywood Reporter article, we find out more details about the upcoming live-action series: A Broad Strokes Sequel Series of the animated series starring Timmy's cousins' adventures with Cosmo and Wanda, across a 13 episode first season.

Building on his franchise strategy, former Nick hit The Fairly Odd Parents is coming back as a live-action series for Paramount+, where Robbins hopes it will also revive interest in the show’s library on the platform. (Don’t worry, some original stars from the animated original will return for the new take, which is already in production in L.A.)

THR: Fairly Odd Parents is switching to live-action. Is that a model you’d like to employ for other Nick animated hits?

Brian Robbins: We are doing a live-action Loud House Christmas movie that will come to Nickelodeon linear this Christmas. But yes, the Fairly Odd Parents show is a hybrid so that the fairies are animated and all the humans are live actors. You can’t do it a hundred times but that’s it for right now.

The Fairly Odd Parents is based on the Emmy-winning animated series and will combine live-action and animation. The 13-episode first season will pick up years after the original series ended and follow Timmy Turner’s cousin, Vivian “Viv” Turner (Audrey Grace Marshall, The Flight Attendant), and her new stepbrother, Roy Ragland (Tyler Wladis, Single Parents), as they navigate life in Dimmsdale with the help of their fairy godparents, Wanda and Cosmo. Susanne Blakeslee and Daran Norris return to the franchise to voice the iconic Wanda and Cosmo. Laura Bell Bundy (Perfect Harmony) plays Roy’s mom, Rachel; Ryan-James Hatanaka (Nancy Drew) is Viv’s dad, Ty; and Imogen Cohen plays their friend, Zina Zacarias. Production on the series is under way in Los Angeles with a debut slated for later this year on Paramount+.

So, do y'all think Poof will appear at all or be ignored in the sequel show like he was in season 10?

I would wonder if Timmy's gonna make a few appearances here and there.

The Fairly Odd Parents is coming back as a live-action series for Paramount+

a live-action Loud House Christmas movie that will come to Nickelodeon linear this Christmas.

...Ehm, did Dora and the Lost City of Gold turn out well enough to merit giving other Nicktoons the live-action treatment? Because I don't know if anyone was asking for more live-action Nicktoon stuff.

I would wonder if Timmy's gonna make a few appearances here and there.

If he does, he better be someone who isn't D*ake B*ll.

[up] Yes, $119.7 million box office against $49 million budget.

In fact, there's an upcoming live-action Dora series that Brian Robbins specifically cited to be based on that film's success. (From the Paramount Plus event back in February).

I'm pretty sure they are, considering Cosmo and Wanda were Timmy's kids godparents at the end of that.
