Agreed. Same trope. Suggest merge.
This one is a no-brainer. I agree with the merge suggestion.
Agree here as well. I slightly prefer the way Big Star Is Main Character explains it, but like Actor IS the Title Character as a name better.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Crowner up.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Since there was pretty significant support for merging the two pages under Actor IS the Title Character, I went ahead and did that, basing the description of the merged trope on the one from Big Star Is Main Character, moving the examples, and fixing the wicks.
I may have made a mistake though, so if I did, feel free to point it out to me and/or correct it.

Crown Description:
The two pages are virtually duplicates.
I recently added an example of the lead actor being referred to on the poster as being the main character. Today I was going to check something out on the page, but couldn't remember the article title, so I search for "actor is character" and found Actor IS the Title Character. But my contribution wasn't there, not even in the history. So looking at my own edit history, it turns out that my edit was on Big Star Is Main Character instead, which seems to be a separate page about the exact same thing.
