Oh gods, if it starts snowing in-universe we're going to spend a decade reading snow-filled comics.

I do imagine that the comic will end with the Christmas break and Dorothy folling through and her plan to transfer collages.

It's amazing—at eight years in, it doesn't feel like we're coming up on any kind of ending or creative exhaution. Shortpacked! was running on fumes by this point in its life. The Walky saga was settling into the postscript duldrums of early Joyce and Walky!.

So how long before our first Pokémon LGPE reference?

Do they actually have Switches for it?

I like how in universe all the students are just really interested in Retro culture, so as the sliding timescale makes current interests of the students into increasingly anchoristic interests, its perfectly fitting with their character.

Willis is (rightfully) pretty steamed about the whole Autism Speaks thing, so I'd expect any references to Pokémon Go or affiliated products to abruptly vanish in three month's time.

Niantic, the production company responsible for Pokémon Go, endorsed an event to raise money for Autism Speaks. Autism Speaks has eradicating autism as one of its stated goals and actively works to silence actual autistic voices in favor of the voices of parents and guardians who see their autistic children as a burden.

Betrayed? It's not like Amber tried to land Walky, or lusted after/pursued him beforehand. Calling it a "betrayal" feels like an implication of ownership.
