"I'll take those as your honest feelings on the matter, then," he said, "That being said, I would like to ask you tod od something for me, if you'd be willing to. It honestly isn't much to ask for, but would mean a lot to me and the individual involved."
The man seemed to try to figure out whether he'd phrased it appropriately, or consider something before getting to the point.
"I'd like for you to look after Natalie for me," he clarified, "As I'm sure you are aware. . . She's a great deal more reckless than you are, and will do almost anything for the sake of you or me, even if it hurts her in the long run. Truly, I think she'd never experienced love before meeting the two of us, given how she was when I first took her in and how much she seemed to immediately change once you came along and the two of you became friends. I think she fancied you as a sort of little brother," he let out a small chuckle, perhaps recalling an amusing event.
He soon got back to his more serious demeanor, "However, I think that it's precisely that previous lack of love and the love she's found with us is the reason she is the way she is. I think she would've travelled to the ninth circle and taken on Lucifer himself if it meant getting you back when you went missing, she cared about you that much. That being said, it's this self-destructive devotion to those she cares about that will probably - and has - run her into trouble in the future. I ask that you make sure she doesn't do anything that might hurt herself, and show that you still care about her. . . Or if you don't, at least pretend or try. That's all I'm asking; that you take care of each other. And if you won't do it for me, then at least do it for her."

Dom finally finished his meal and was ready to find something to do again because he was bored. And the Shooting range was not going to help him any.

Alex sighed. "I don't think so... I don't think there's anything that can be done... Not yet at least," he pushed himself up.
"Thank you for telling me this... I suppose I knew already, what with what the Chimera guy showed me at the warehouse. I hoped it was an illusion."
It's kind of funny. Sufficiently advanced stupidity is like sufficiently advanced science; eventually, you find something you can't solve.
There was a flicker of emotion on Alex's face.
"Natalie was the only one who cared that I was gone. She kept searching for me for six years, long after any normal person would've decided it was a lost cause. So I'd say that I owe her that much. Honestly, I'm slightly surprised you even needed to ask."
Though he was right to ask, as things turned out. Gear might want to just use her and toss her away when she stopped being helpful, but Alex wouldn't let that happen. Natalie deserved better than that. And anyway, Gear was finding her presence useful, so he had no reason to fight Alex on that.
But. He should tell her, Alex supposed. He should tell her Gear's plans. She would the only one guaranteed to be on his side, after all. It would be better if she knew what to expect.

"Well, that's a relief to hear, at the very least," He nodded, "Well, then, are there any other jarring questions eating at you at the moment? I'd rather answer what I can now and get that out of the way."

"Well, for one, that was that psycho HADES. Not CHIMERA. Or Tom, if you want to call him that. He's. . . Actually a decent sort of fellow when you get down to it. You two might get along, actually. He enjoys making things asplode," Kota didn't seem willing to share how he knew this, "HADES, on the other hand, is the type of guy that'd vote for John on a government election, drown a box of baby rabbits, trip elderly people on the bus, rape Cthulhu's brain, try to fuck your mother, and then finish off the day by creating a pyrotechnics display out of the local orphanage."
He thought for a moment before adding, "I'm fairly certain he also eats puppies. But it's entirely possible I'm exaggerating a bit to get the point across."

Alex's first thought was denial. No, this wasn't fair. It had to be some kind of trick.
His enemy was here, repentant and apologizing, while John was apparently a threat to all reality? No, that wasn't anywhere near fair. Gear was supposed to be the monster, not him. So surely CHIMERA was just tricking everyone else, here.
That's insane, Alex. There aren't any holes in his story that I noticed, and even if there were, there's a common enemy here, so it makes sense to ignore them. He didn't have a chance do actually do anything to you; there's nothing for you to take revenge for! So just-

Alex, now alone in his mind, looked at CHIMERA cooly.
"I'm not sure what you expect me to say to that. You're right that I have no intention of forgiving you. Though I guess… I guess it's good to know what was behind it all."
