So in the second round was the goal profits from real estate or selling houses with real estate? Because if it was the latter then Gai changed the rules of the second round last minute so that episode 20 could end with Hiden losing 0:2 to ZAIA. I honestly can't remember but it wouldn't surprise me if Gai is that petty. He did absolutely nothing about the vandalism and sabotage that the human was doing and Gai essentially controls the whole contest and Aruto just has to play along. At least Dan Kuroto knew to at least make his challenges feasible so that the heroes could win, and Evolt when he was still Blood Stark was playing all the sides for his own benefit in the conflicts he created, Gai is supposed to be a bad guy right now but he has presented no weakness to anything in the plotting. Gai is a great villain but a frustrating plotter.

Kuroto was a game maker, so even if things got kinda bullshit, there was a possibility of victory for the "players", and Stalk was just playing everyone, just messing around and staying in one piece until it was time to make real moves. Amatsu... basically marked the cards on the deck and chained Aruto to the table, honestly, and it feels like he is too dumb to realize he on a game this rigged.

Oh wait. Gai practically told him something was gonna happen to that actor. Aruto seems to have forgotten it.

The fact that Gai was so quickly ready to buy up Hiden should also be raising some eyebrows from him.

Hell, Fuwa should be investigating ZAIA even more closely, considering he knows Yua is working for them, and he's very aware she played a role in framing them with the Little Assassin stunt.

But so far, Gai is getting away with everything. Hell, if upcoming episodes are anything to go on, the one who'll stop him...is him.

So is everyone that is a hero currently holding an Idiot Ball or is Gai some kind of Gary Stu because he can do anything, win any battle and defeat any opponent he wants? I threw the "Gary Stu" out as a label and it is possible Gai is going through debut immunity to defeat, but Gai should not be winning this much. There is also that if Hiden loses the legal battle then the score will be 0:3 at which point The Bad Guy Wins because Hiden intelligence could not not recover any ground and the Takeover Bid continues.

Then I suspect Hiden will not lose. Either that, or something will happen to make the takeover bid moot.

Honestly, I'd love it if something happened that just flipped the board on Gai so hard that he ends up having to have ZAIA bought out by Hiden instead.

At least we know his Contractual Boss Immunity is gonna be up soon. We know that Metal Cluster Hopper is gonna not only go out of control, but 1000% out of control, and since Gai is the one who gives it to Aruto, it's a nice bit of self petard hoisting on his part. I'd have preferred if Aruto beat him on his own though, but this is just as satisfying.

Just caught the raw of episode 21...

I think Aruto is reaching the point where he legitimately wants to murder Gai...and with how the episode ended, and knowing what we know about Metal Cluster Hopper, I'm totally ok with him getting away with so much.

After all, when you put yourself in a hole that deep it's only fair.

My only regret is that Aruto probably won't immediately target Gai at first but accidentally hurt Izu, Fuwa or some other innocent person in the process.

Still I'm waiting for the day of reckoning.

Edit: Saw the preview. Metal Cluster Hopper wreaks his bloody vengeance next week. Reap the fucking whirlwind Gai! Reap and weep.

Seeing Gai fighting alongside Aruto is so surreal. With how things are currently going, and how they are going to go soon enough, I do wonder what will happen to him. Getting killed seems likely with how much fire he's playing with.

I'm more concerned about the Thouser suit, or rather the Progrise / Zetsumerise keys used for it. Apparently Gai's obsession with perfection means he made the suit unable to evolve, but if Thouser bites it, that doesn't mean the keys can't be used by others.

Just watched Over Quartzer.

....well....that was a movie.

It got weird though: a Kamen Rider G, some dude with melty hands who looks like he was from Amazons maybe, but also looked like a Drive Rider, a Gaim rider who looked like a combination of Melon and Kachidoki and finally the manga version of Kuuga. They went nuts.

And then just bring back Geiz, Tsukiyomi and Woz (who flat out died) with no explanation? Whut?

Edit: Oh right. And the fricking Go-Riders showed up too. That's just nutty.

The green guy with poison hands is Brain who got his own short webseries (I think) to become Kamen Rider Brain and there was also Kachidoki Zangetsu from one of the live shows.

I feel like Heisei Generations Forever and Over Quartzer put together were an attempt to really ramp up the Heisei cameos. Hence also why the Quartzer Riders were based on 'lost Heisei' Riders.

Zangetsu got his own stage show quite recently (yes, years after Gaim) which was more narrative/artsy than the typical live shows. IIRC, it was just him and a bunch of new characters (with several new Riders who were just the existing Gaim Riders with black undersuits) and that's where Zangetsu Kachidoki comes from.

Also, who was that dude who was in prison with Sougo who claimed he was a Heisei Rider who was never recognized?

I figure he's another of the 90's riders, but I've got no clue who.

Though I'm wondering who framed the defendant, tried to frame the prosecutor, and also took the latest raider form. Seems like it's likely the cop who gave them the false info about the Zaia Spec, but it could also be the girl who was tricked into taking the money too (because she either truly believes the other guy is guilty or because she was in on the scam).

The person that was with Sougo is Kamen Norider, Takeshi Kinashi who's actually an parody of Kamen Riders.

Sort of. He was an unofficial parody that was made during the 80s that Toei later bought the rights. If I'm remembering correctly, Over Quartzer is his first official appearance.

Man, I wish Takeshi transformed into Kamen Norider and joined the final battle.
