Even if Kamen Rider Tsukuyomi does happen, I'm not expecting a Nadeshiko situation here to be honest.
One Strip! One Strip!OK, but she better get a triple Combination Attack with Geiz and Sougo.
Wake me up at your own risk.
I honestly don't even expect that much.
Hell, look at Kamen Rider Poppy. She kinda stopped showing up after a while after all.

One Strip! One Strip!Ex-Aid was weird because the female Riders just kind of stop? Like with Nico I guess you have the whole thing where she's apparently not powerful enough to fight the stronger Bugsters (which I still think is kind of bullshit but works in-universe) but Poppy was suggested to be pretty powerful.
Speaking of toys, damn, the Zi-O Ridewatch II got sold out so quickly. I guess I'll have to wait for it to show up on Mandarake (or another second-hand retailer)...
And yeah, I can totally see Sougo getting a full Oma Zi-O form, then moving past it and showing his true final form, thus forging a new timeline.
... And that's called jazz!Zi-O 21
The mystery feels like they came up with the plot first and then had to work backwards to explain how the characters pieced things together. like why did Tsukuyomi only bring up what the victims had in common after five fights and then why was it only after they did that investigating did she bother to go back and check why the monster kept disappearing
wait why are you all splitting up to investigate Ore Journal when Tsukuyomi has the power of supergoogle
Peace, like time has stopped. well then that's totally not suspicious at all
*GEIZ MORAL AMBUGUITY INTENSIFIES*
Sougo's actor is trying so hard to be evil for the mirror counterpart that it's actually kinda cute
Kinda surprised with the mirror thing being so prevalent that they didn't do a thing Black and White Woz since reflections and SYMBOLISM
This frustratingly not-quite answers a few questions. How well exactly does the power have to match? It suggests they do in fact need a Ryuuga watch, and not just a Ryuki one, but it hasn't really come up before as Cross-Z was only used in combination with Build, Beast not at all, and Gemn after Another Ex-Aid was defeated. Other cross-overs have just needed a rough power source match though. And if Ryuki would work, could he just use the Heisaber? I assume we're going to get some solution to this, as we're probably not going to get a Ryuuga ridewatch in the same episode as Zi-O II. Though I guess the solution could be 'Zi-O II can just beat any another Rider', which is a cop-out.
Mirror Zi-O was kind of hilarious. I do like that they called out that they've already done 'two Sougos' already.
Is the Sougo we've been watching since after the Gaim episode the one from the altered timeline or the one from 3 days in the future that Gaim sent back in time? I was never really sure which Sougo we ended up with.
huh, maybe we got both. One is the one we're watching, the other becomes Oma Zi-O.

I would assume present. 3 days future Sougo goes back to 2013 and we kind of loose track there.
Not liking either Zi-O form. Ghost Heisei damashii did Grand better. Woz Ginga is alright.
Also, update on the Ridewatch vote, which kind of doubles as an interesting popularity poll. Scissors, Ouja, Faiz (Axel), Orga, Chalice, Kickhopper, Den-O (super climax), Dark Kiva, Diend (complete), W (cycloneaccelxtreme), Skull, eternal, OOO (super tatoba), Mach Chaser, Genm (both versions of zombie and god maximum), Poppy, Cronus, Cross-Z (charge)
Some predictable (Genm x3 even though his base form got released, Ouja, Chalice), few weird ones (only Kickhopper, Diend complete, accelxtreme, super tatoba).

Well, whaddayaknow, Zi-O's final form looks almost nothing like Oma Zi-O. Quite some food for imagination...
... And that's called jazz! Finally caught the latest ep.
Man, it's great to see Shinji back. Hope he'll regain his memory at one point. It was a plot point in the original Ryuki that (up until they totally erased the Rider War) that he had Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory due to not being properly chosen as a Rider.
One Strip! One Strip!Guess what? The guy who played Kikaider/Jiro in the Kikaider Reboot is playing Kamen Rider Kikai! Even the episode is called "It's Kikai! (Kikai Da!)" His transformation pose is similar to Kikaider! He even wears the original Kikaider's 70's outfit and one of his moves is named "Kikai de Hakaida!" So definitely on the nose yet awesome.
And yes, the Sentai-actor joke still works - he recently was Zamigo!

Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.So it's really gonna be a homage to Kikaider. Cool.
As for Zi-O 21: what Black Woz said made me wonder: Sougo was supposed to use the Zi-O Ridewatch II only on the Day of Oma, which is hinted at by the suit's design. But more than that, perhaps this was supposed to be Oma Zi-O's base form already?
... And that's called jazz!Zi-O's take on time travel seems to share similarities with the Terminator series. That is, the bad future will keep happening as written, with just the starting date pushed around.
Ugh, does that make White Woz from the Genisys timeline? No wonder I hate the guy.
I have to wonder, did the Timejackers EXIST before the rise of Oma Zi-O? After all, Sougo is basically timeline 2, with White Woz being from timeline 3. Who was Sougo fighting in timeline 1 that he needed to be a Rider?
It may be that Oma Zi-O decided he wanted all rider powers and went on to fight the actual Riders in order to get their Watches. (Like how Decade was planned to by Shocker.)
But now Time Jackers arose, and their own screwery allows him to get the watches through other means.
So is ZI-O any good? I took a break after Build and I wanted to get a feel for how ppl were liking this.
It's pretty good so far. Interesting characters, lots of guest appearances, intriguing (if sometimes confusing) story... It's even got supplementary episodes with nice information and No Fourth Wall jokes.
And Decade is better here than in its own series
A lot of the guest appearances are kind of wasted though. The point of (spoiler for, like, episode 1 or 2) Riders losing their powers and memories of being Riders has proven fairly unpopular.
Decade is always better in other movies than in his own series. That one was just meandering about with no point or purpose beyond cameoing the suits.
New Kamen Rider Build: New World V-Cinema announced for grease: https://news.tokunation.com/2019/02/12/build-kamen-rider-grease-new-world-v-cinema-announced-58771?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter REJOICE!
Unpopular as this idea is, I could see it being retconned in the end somehow. In any case, I still think it's (again) waaay better than how they handled guest Riders in Decade.
Well, things tend to be better when you don't treat your series as little more than a cheap showcase for previous shows...
... And that's called jazz!Zi-O makes it work because there's still a plot for Zi-O to do. Decade was lacking in that.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.I feel like it's going to be weird once I actually get round to watching Decade because I've seen so much of him already anyway. Though maybe not quite as bad as watching Jetman after the Gokaiger tribute episode for it.
Zi-O has a plot but it kind of feels a bit less than the sum of its parts. Sougo's desire to be a king kind of still feels naive even though we know it works, and the time travel elements are potentially interesting but too often don't really make sense. There are plenty of individual episodes I liked but it's probably ranking lower as a whole show, unless it pulls things up quite a bit.
Zi-O 22!
Huh, I see what you did there, Toei...
So Sougo apparently "accepted" his worst side, whatever that means, and, since Poor Communication Kills is the norm, Tsukuyomi interprets it the wrong way. Interestingly, now Geiz looks more openly against killing him - which makes sense, since it's partially his fault and Geiz Revive will be a thing anyway.
Finally, if Zi-O II is already this powerful, I wonder how broken his next form(s) will be. Anyway, I like precognition applied to combat, so I'm really digging this form.
... And that's called jazz!
My instinct is doubting. Kamen Rider Tsukuyomi is something a lot of fans want but would be quite a twist. Evil Zi-O is, again, something quite a few people want and an Evol watch is already in the toyline.
