Wait, what's up with these "subversions"? The trope seems to be just "prison sequence" from the description, not "contains prison sequence which is dull and set in small, uninteresting environment". I'm sensing some misuse here.
Also, I'm questioning its tropiness.

Yeah, as written this is just your YKTTW but video game-specific and Done Badly. There's no need for this to be two separate tropes, and the current page is pretty bad. And the plural in the title needs to go too.
If a page has subversions defined as "examples of the trope, but actually fun", then there's a problem.
I'd recommend lumping it in on launch.
Fight smart, not fair. What do you mean, "lumping" it in?
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartDeboss, the YKTTW isn't what lists "done well" as a subversion - the launched trope in the thread title has that.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username.Ah, my bad. I was suggesting launching to the current trope name and over writing some of it, namely any Done Badly parts.
Fight smart, not fair. They'd let you launch to the current trope name?
That said, I don't think "sequences" is the right word for my trope idea.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartBumping to seek further title ideas.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartBumping again since someone else made Prison Sequences a redirect for my new trope. Am I to take it the old article got deleted to merge with my new one? And that all potholes to Prison Sequences will lead to my new article?
[EDITED IN: Oh, and where do I crosswick the Toy Story 3 example to, the trope list for Toy Story as a whole, the trope list for Toy Story 3 in particular, or both? So far I just crosswicked to the trope list for Toy Story 3 in particular.]

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartI added in most of the examples from Prison Sequences to Prison Episode, and the rest to Prison (those that were set entirely or mostly in prison). I did some basic editing of the examples too, consolidating stuff, removing digressions, and so on.
I haven't touched the wicks yet (apart from my own examples), but they are easily seen via the related tab.

I have most of the non-videogame examples crosswicked, and some of the videogame examples as well; thing is, I'm not sure if they count as examples even according to my own conceptual definition.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartWell, Prison Sequences was in pretty bad shape. I beat on it some, but if you think some examples shouldn't be there, feel free to remove them, with an explanation why.
Or you can PM me for a second thought.
Locking this as complete.
I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be than me.

This YKTTW idea of mine has a comment making reference to Prison Sequences. Should my idea be a separate trope, or should Prison Sequences be expanded to include it?
