—Saren took aim with his gunarm, then fired a volley of sledgehammer rounds at the nihilphiliac sorceror's throat.—

The Doctor chuckles and grabs it. "There ya go. So... how much?"

"Right. Helmet, helmet, dagger,dagger,dagger..."

Link picked up the items, stowing them away in his pouch, which strangely, never seemed to get any heavier or bigger, despite the fact that most of the items were bigger than it and should have been impossible to fit in.

"All done, Miss..."

"Hopefully they'll be worth something."

With that, Link picked up his lantern and continued along the path.

"Aw, how cute, they look like fishies!" Fluttershy said, looking at the taiyaki after flying up to their self. "I didn't know there were pastries shaped into fish."

Teridax saw that Rey was in trouble, he also saw that he wouldn't last very much longer in a straight fight.

Guess there isn't really an alternative.

There was a blur and Teridax stood in between Cho'gath and Rey.

"AM I AFAIRD OF THE DARK?".

The shadows deepened around Teridax as he began to draw with his last ounce of energy all the light in the left lane into his body, effectively becoming a bomb made of light.

"Rey, shut your eyes now".

Teridax began to glow as the light photons congregated in his body.

"What is darkness but the absence of light?".

Rey covered his eyes, but also started moving backwards quickly. He wasn't expecting anybody to stand between him and the monster for long, and he already had reached down and taken the crowbar into his hand, ready to aim for the other eye if he had to.

It was just as well that Rey covered his eyes because seconds after he did Teridax resigned himself to fate and let go of control.

The ball of light within Teridax exploded with the sudden release of pressure, vaporising Teridax and bathing the left lane with an intense wave of light.

Cho'gath would not be very happy if saw the damage the light would do to him.

Jak was getting quite restless, and was about to abandon the ambush altogether when he saw Swain give a signal.

Let's start this party, he thought, as he leaped out of the cover of the brush, firing a grenade at Malzahar like he was a gunslinger in a movie. Daxter barely held onto Jak's shoulder as he did so.

Scorpion struck his usual fighting stance and awaited the right moment to strike.

Cletus looked at the helmets and such.

"Now hold on, I can fix those up for you. I've had to do a lot of repairs on my own armor and weapons."

Link stopped and turned around, looking at Cletus for a moment, before nodding.

"Ok then."

With that, he took out most of the equipment, laying it out on the ground before him.

Cletus looked the weapons over, noting the different metals. He took an orange box that read "Abraxo" out of his pack and a dirty-looking cloth before taking some powder from the box and scrubbing the helmet up to a shine, the rust vanishing slowly but surely. He did this to one of the knives next.

"Normally, I'd have to melt down one of the knives to give the rest of the material some more structure, but a properly cleaned knife is usually just as good as a fully-repaired one."

"I see."

Link knelt down, looking over the various pieces of equipment.

"I've never actually had to clean my sword before...."

It was true. Ever since he'd got the Master Sword, he'd never had to worry about breaking or tarnishing the blade. It was a great step forward from the Ordon Sword, but he did wonder sometimes about the problems that would arise if he would ever had to switch back to an ordinary weapon.

"Interesting."

Mehir sat down, cross-legged, near the shop's counter, hands resting on knees. He started muttering; the language sounded rather similar to Arabic, but not quite.

"I'll pay eleven-hundred pix for the taiyaki," said Alouette, folding her arms. It was the baseline price for the fish-shaped snack, after all.

Recette walked over to Link and Cletus, to peer at what they were doing. "Ohhh, you're cleaning it? I don't really know how to clean stuff like that, so I've never done it!"

Tear sighed. "Merde... really now? Can we actually get moving to find real treasure?"

The Doctor shrugs. "1,110 maybe?"

Mehir lifted his head. "Oh, haggling, are we?" He said. "Don't those things have fixed prices?"

Alouette considered this price.

"Eleven-hundred and five," she asserted.

"Oh my," Fluttershy said about the offered price for the taiyaki. "Isn't that quite a lot for just a single pastry?" she asked. "The cupcakes Pinkie Pie sells are usually only 3 bits, five at the most for the fancy ones. Eleven hundred is the usual price for one of Rarity's most elaborate jewel encrusted dresses."

"Still, it depends on the relative worth of the monetary unit concerned," Mehir told Fluttershy. "For example, a flying carpet might cost you thousands of gold pieces, but you'd be able to buy it with a single diamond."

"1,105 is fine."

Hellboy followed Kassadin, reloading his gun.

"So, any tips on how to take down the big smokey guy?"

"You use diamonds as currency?" Fluttershy asked Mehir, amazement evident in her voice. "Oh wow, you must have a lot in your world! We rarely get any of those, even with all the jewel fields around Ponyville and some of the local rock farms."

Cletus continued polishing the weapons, ignoring the fairy.

"It'll be done when it's done. Help yourself to some of the food in my bag. Don't eat anything that glows, though."

Link turned around, considering the fairy's words for a moment.

"Well, if you want treasure..."

He reached into his wallet, and retrieved a green gemstone, finely cut, which sparkled in the dim light of the lantern.

"How's this?"

He flicked it to Recette.
