Yea, you'll find people like that in any forum, but I'm not exactly their biggest fan either. It's something I'm fine tolerating if they make a good case, but when the make silly mistakes or ridiculous statements it's kind of hard to ignore. Especially when OMM exists, if I'm just gonna watch for the animation, I may as well watch that. Also to be clear I don't have a problem with vs. battles just that they act like it's impossible that they could be wrong
The funny thing about Unlimited Superman is that he still would be the strongest character in fiction, or even DC. Even ignoring the fact that Captain Marvel was helping lift the book, and would therefore also have unlimited strength, there's still a characters like Mr. Mxyzptlk who could just erase him.

According to Ben, the situation was more complicated than Mali De'lisser made it out to be:
"Hey all! It seems some rumors have been floating around, so we’re here to clear things up. It is true that One Minute Melee (OMM) will no longer be hosted on Screw Attack. For OMM’s run on Screw Attack, we were in business with its owner and creator, Mali De’lisser, and only him. We contracted Mali on a season by season basis and gave him plenty of creative freedom. He decided on his own accord to subcontract other animators to produce some of the episodes. Which is fine, lots of businesses do this, but this means Screw Attack was not involved with them at all regarding OMM. Mali was the one responsible for managing them, determining their pay and providing it to them.
Regarding the accusation of poor treatment, it’s extremely important to us that animators feel they’re receiving everything they deserve. As soon as we found out the subcontractors were not happy with the situation, we immediately opened a discussion with them to change it. The structure in place was creating miscommunication and we were hesitant to continue our professional relationship with Mali. We decided that for future projects we wanted to work directly with animators, like we do with Death Battle. We chose not to renew OMM and wished Mali well with his show in the future. In addition, we informed the subcontracted animators that if they’d like to work with us directly on other projects in the future, we’d be happy to work around their upcoming animation schedules with Hyper Gauge. Similar to how we work around the school schedules of contracted animators who are also students. By no means were we trying to “split the group up.” We only wished to provide them with additional opportunities, because honestly we love their talent and dedication to their trade. Unfortunately, we learned that should one of these animators take up our offer, they would be removed from Hyper Gauge. We wish things could have ended on better terms, and it’s a shame that Mali felt the need to withhold so much of the OMM finale. That’s extremely disappointing.
Regardless, we wish each of these animators all the best going forward. They are always welcome to take us up on our offer should Hyper Gauge change its policy.
Hopefully this helps bring some clarity to the situation. Thank you! - Craig Skistimas, Ben Singer, Chad James"
Silver Age Superman vs. Saitama would be interesting to watch. I imagine it would end up going something like how Chuck Norris vs. Segata Sanshiro went, since both characters are No-Limits Fallacy incarnate.

Yeah it was an imaginary story, but then, aren't they all?

Ben has been known to be a bit of a dick to pepole.
Either way he killed him by splitting him between dimensions with the phantom zone projector, so it had nothing to do with strength

Going by what he said, the reason the artists were underpaid was because Mali was the only one officially working for them, so he was the only one they were directly paying and he was paying the others out of what he was making.
So anyway, can I just say I find it hilarious how angry people are getting over who would win fights? :P
I mean, I kinda found this series kinda dumb anyway if you take it that seriously because you can't really compare things from other series and make objective statements. Also, it tends to estimate things in terms of pure strength, ignoring tactics and skills and whatever so that makes fights less interesting. Also, its annoying how every fight has to end in death, I didn't even watch pokemon vs digimon episode because of that
Watched the Death Battle. I agree that it was bullshit. I don't even care if Ganon won, but the death curse thing is stupid when we don't even know how it works.
The fight itself looked okay. Nothing spectacular.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI thought the death curse was a result of Ganondorf infecting the Great Deku Tree with Queen Gohma? At least, that's how the The Legend of Zelda wiki interprets it.

Isn't it a good thing that strength isn't always the deciding factor?
If that wasn't there, that'd totally be some deal breaker, I bet.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Well I just saw it.
I wasn't mad at the verdict, but their reasoning for it just pissed me off.
I'd be fine with Ganon winning if it didn't invoke NLF, showing off Bowser dying to lava as a reason why he's weaker, and ending it with a spell we never see happen and don't know how it works.
It's either right for the wrong reasons or wrong for the wrong reasons.
Is this another part of pony friendship? Telling each other what you learned all the time?Ganon being injurable by the Biggoron Sword and Megaton Hammer strikes me as Gameplay and Story Segregation, especially since he can only be finished off by the Master Sword and in Wind Waker he is unaffected by a slash from the depowered Master Sword and outright states that he cannot be defeated "with a blade that does not sparkle with the power to repel evil!" His impalement in Twilight Princess doesn't count since it occurred prior to him getting the Triforce of Power. That said, I don't see why they couldn't have given Bowser some of his more potent magical artifacts that he's had over the years.
Well you can't just take all a character's best moments and ignore the times they totally ate shit. Bowser dying to lava should be included for fairness's sake.
Contradictions still exist, ignoring said contradictions can help make it or break it for certain characters.
Watch SymphogearAdd to that the fact that Miyamoto once said the Mario Bros. cast are essentially a troop of actors (or so I've heard, anyways) and that Super Mario Bros. 3 was explicitly a stage play. If that's the case then none of Bowser's "defeats" were actual deaths, any more than an actor whose character dies in a movie is killed.
I thought the thing about Super Mario Bros. 3 being a stage play was just a theory and not confirmed per word of god?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Nope. Confirmed by Word of God for Mario's anniversary.
I'm too lazy to find the video though.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeSo technically speaking, none of Bowser's feats would count if he's technically just an actor? I'm kinda confused by this now.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Only SMB 3 is a stage play. Every other game actually happens.

Well, Hyper Gauge brought Saitama into OMM, though in an unusual way. Granted, the whole thing is an April Fool's joke.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
