He’s not.

He isn’t a dad, and while I’m not sure if his relationship with Mukuro could be called love, he did make a pretty nice gesture towards her (that still manages to be pretty damned scary).

I’ll let someone else explain it (do it Tobias!).

I have no clue if Hiei and Mukuro are remaining in a relationship, but considering Sasuke generally tries to be there for Sarada now despite the hysterically rough beginning and does seem to care for Sakura now... I'd say Sasuke wins in relationship too.

When she was born he just straight up left, in complete radio silence. Guy couldn't even be bothered to drop by or leave a letter to his family.

So his daughter effectively grew up without a father for all of her life until very recently.

I'm sorry but that is not winning a relationship, that is just failing horribly.

Fucking Sasuke ruins everything.

Sarada is incredible. I haven't seen a child in anime beat the odds and be better than their parents since Trunks.

Because when you look at what his mom and dad are like, he's should be quite the raging asshole.

Sarada is the best. I can't tell if it's because she's well-written or because her parents are just the worst, but the Boruto series did right by her.

Hell I’d actually be interested in seeing Sarada meeting kid-Sasuke than Boruto meeting kid-Naruto as the anime’s gonna do in a future arc.

Yeah, I was about to say, Sarada being great is at the cost of Boruto himself being kinda shitty.

It's weird how it basically implies that, since Boruto is a Generation Xerox of his father, it sort of posits the idea of "If Naruto had a healthy home life, family who loved him, and wasn't dirt poor and miserable all the time, he'd be a piece of shit." Kinda like that movie where they go to the alternate universe where Naruto's parents didn't die and Notruto is also a piece of shit.

Like it implies that Naruto has to endure suffering and hardship or otherwise he'll be an asshole.

Notruto isn’t just a piece of shit, he’s a full blown terrorist.

He basically functions as a literal one-man Akatsuki replacement because the Akatsuki in that world are a heroic mercenary group.
