Now that I think about, Starscream vs Rainbow Dash didn't have any swearing.

Kinda faulty logic about not killing a kids' show character when watching the episode will just interest people into watching the other episodes.

Gotta be honest... After what they did to Tifa and Ragna, I REALLY don't trust this next time. I absolutely loathe RWBY with a burning passion, and I really like Mitsuru, who I firmly believe should take it, so I dread this episode because I don't want Mitsuru to die for the purpose of shilling one of my personal most hated shows.

You can always get Blazblue Cross Tag Battle and just beat up Weiss as Mitsuru

To be fair, nobody hates RWBY more then RWBY fans. Just look at the thread we have here.

Oh definitely, this'll be fun to see go down just on that principle alone.

On a physical level, Mitsuru is basically a Japanese teenager who's talented at fencing, while Weiss is a superhero with a forcefield. But Mitsuru's Persona is where the question lies.

I guess my question lies is that can Weiss' summons keep Artemisia at bay so that she can't do anything? Though I guess Mitsuru can somewhat openly unsummon and resummon her if needed.

I have been informed that, game mechanics-wise, Mitsuru is weak to Fire.

Weiss is really good at Fire.

Is that a trait inherent to Mitsuru or is it a quirk of having Artemisia active? I'm not sure how Persona deals in elemental weaknesses as far as the party members go.

Personas' weaknesses and strengths extend to the wielder. Personas in general only stand around to attack, and then disappear after doing their stuff.

I guess one weakness Weiss' summons have is that it can take a while to be summoned, during which they can be destroyed, while Personas are summoned almost instantly. On other hand, I guess one thing with Mitsuru is how much they take account the Arena games, as she doesn't constantly need to pull out her Evoker to summon Artemisia.

Edit 2: It honestly might be Weiss’ best interest to skip the summoning and use her better speed/mobility to just go for Mitsuru herself. I’m having a hard time recalling any physical feats specifically for Mitsuru that would indicate that she could hold her own against a superhuman fighter in close quarters.

Weiss mainly uses Ice above anything else, which Mitsuro is compleatly immune too. So that's a problem for Weiss.

Yeah, but Weiss doesn't ONLY use Ice, like Mitsuru. Weiss has access to Ice, Fire, Lightning, what appears to be Tornado/Cyclone, Hard Light, some sort of Shadow-type thing, and Earth Dusts. She's got a pretty full elemental spectrum.

Should we mention the Time Dilation?

Short of an idiot or someone with an extremely limited powerset wouldn't someone's reaction to something not working in a fight usually be to try something different?

Not even Weiss in particular, just a vast majority of fictional characters with superpowers/magic/etc. of some kind.

Weiss also has barriers, traps, and magic restraints.

Mitsuru’s main advantage is the fact that she has a summon to assist her that’s better than anything Weiss can summon. But again, Weiss has easy access to their one weakness, has plenty of defensive and utility options, a wider array of offensive attacks, and most likely has better physical stats. If Tentarafoo or MARIN FUCKING KARIN could actually land, that’s probably a match-ender, but their both way too unreliable to stake a verdict on.

Can Weiss self heal, or drain the magic out of another person? Cause if not, thats a huge advantage for Mitsuru. Diaharan is going to completely undo anything short of an instantly killing blow with a word, and Spirit Drain ensures she can just take any magic she needs from her opponent

Weiss' abilities are explicitly not magic. And she does have a minor healing factor, but it's not enough to heal major traumatic wounds without help.

It's kinda ambiguous what SP even is exactly, whethers it's like MP, or just general stamina. Normal Coffee and Soda can give it back, back that doesn't exactly answer the question.

When did beverages become the MP/whateverP replenisher? You could replenish magic in World of Warcraft by chugging down some water. Does magic dehydrate you?

Huh next fight is definitly out there I have to say.

I mean it was either this or Weiss vs. Asuna, it seems.

I think the deciding factor for this will be whether their respective summons are able to be injured or not.

As a fan of both Ben 10 and Hal Jordan, I congratulate the right hero for winning.

For the next Death Battle, I have to admit I share the hesitation metamaster displays.
