Only wanted to say that Yuri's high levels of sanity/mental resistance is actually taken directly from his source material, so Mary Sue would have to be something well well well into or even beyond the realm of Eldritch Abomination to get even the tiniest foothold into Yuri's mind.

And his powers include physically turning into demons and martial arts fighting. Because people were talking about stuff like that.

And now comes something that should have been asked a long time ago; Mr. Kirb, what exactly are the familiars going to be like, because familiars are usually connected highly to any witches in the area. Are they going to be just roaming and expanding the influence of the witch they serve under, or are they trying to actively protect the witch within? Because, if there's a witch there, it could make a very vast difference in how it's played out...

The Witch in question is a "dead" one (actually neither alive or dead) which is the labyrinth herself, a Genius Loci lobotomized by the lab/prison itself. "A dead witch who still dreams". Her familiars are her guardians so it's more like the latter, protecting her from any intruders. However, the scientists inside the lab can control the Labyrinth/Witch thus they are the real commanders over the Witch's Familiars. Ergo, those mooks tend to kidnapped anyone unlucky enough who enters the Labyrinth to become test subjects or target dummies.

The incubators are also using the Labyrinth to research how Puella Magi works so this is much a fanon origin of the Puella Magi system, pre-cosmic retcon.

...I'd say "That is a completely ridiculous idea due to the nature of witches", but as this subquest has already been stated to be Fanon, the statement of it being ridiculous now holds no relevance.

Let's see how this whole thing works out, then.

I was honestly expecting it sooner or later. I'd left it alone mainly due to nobody caring too hard about the whole Great Game thing originally, and because I didn't know where it'd go or what I'd do with it. But, if you have something special in mind for this, go ahead.

It'd have to be continually supported in order to not suffer from it. As of right now, it's not being mentioned, nor does it seem to be important. Why should they care about The Game?

Katsuun became a Sporadically-playing player due to his schedule, remember? We'd need to ask him before we fully enact that sort of thing.

Although, by actively going after her, Toya might get annoyed enough to enter the "Great Game" herself, just to get some peace and quiet, so...we'll see.

I thought of an idea for involving Medusa, if you still want to do that. Say the Witches actually overpower her and force her into servitude. But they make her furniture, thus giving her the ability to use Language of Truth. So she starts doing her science thing, only this time she experiments with the Lo T and pushes it to it's boundaries, making her POWAFUL.

Yeah that's all I've got.

Also Kirb, withdraw Keel from the Game. I gave up on the Evangelion plot line.
