[up] Isn't using a cannon cheating?

You cannot use the cannon in the Koopa the Quick races.

I'm also not sure how you'd do that, surprisingly the wind doesn't interrupt the cannon even though it still carries you upward.

Meaning you'd fly past the flag.

Yeah, it is totally possible to fire out of the cannon and get caught in the updraft, thus sending you really high while you still maintain your forward momentum, thus sending you over the flag. Koopa the Quick calls you out for cheating if you use a cannon in Bob-omb Battlefield. I honestly can't remember if he called you out for it in Tiny Huge Island, which is funny because it's harder to beat him using the cannon than it is to beat him without using it.

That's what I said, the animation for getting caught in the updraft doesn't happen...but the wind still pushes you up as you fly through it.

I didn't know that happened until I just tested it.

I think Tiny-Huge Island is the most difficult stage in the game, just because it's so easy to fall off the stage. Especially in the tiny version.

Speaking of cannon shenanigans, in Wet-Dry World, if you get into the cannon, then aim as far up as you can and all the way to the left and fire, you'll bounce off the invisible wall at the edge of the stage and fall back into the cannon. But, if you aim a little below that you can bounce off the wall, then fall and land right next to the cannon, take fall damage, then fall again into the cannon. Do this a few times and you can be inside the cannon with 0 health. Fire yourself out again and you will die the instant you touch the ground, or you'll drown as soon as you touch the water.

You could do something similar in Bob-omb Battlefield while equipped with the Wing Cap.

You can have a dead Mario fly around the skies for quite a while, and as soon as he touches the ground he dies.

I'm not sure which cannon is in a convenient enough spot for you to do that...

Probably the best thing to accomplish that is: get down to like 2 health, grab the cap, grab a bob-omb that's near a cannon, stand next to the cannon so that when it explodes it the explosion knocks you into the cannon hole.

Super Mario 64 Land got patched.

It's not worth embedding the video this time, since there's no game-play.

But a bunch of QoL changes were made to make the game more accessible, so that's cool.

Someone used cheats to get through Mario Odyssey's finale without the final capture.

The result is invisible Bowser and Peach in the ending.

(The Uncanny Valley costumes make the ending hilarious XD Especially 8-bit Mario!)

I'm playing Luigi's Mansion 3 and something is driving me absolutely insane. If someone could help, that'd be much appreciated.

In the room on B2 where you lower the water level, how the ever-loving heck do you get the jar of coins from the white inflatable duck?! Also, there's a treasure chest visible behind a brick wall in the same room, but there's a bit of water that prevents Gooigi from passing through the fence to grab it. What do?

I'm going nuts here, and Google is being unhelpful. Please give me a hand!

Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

Have you gone there the second time in the story already? I don't remember the specifics, but there are some things you can only get after that. If you already did I'll take a look at it and see if I can remember what you do there

I missed the part where that's my problem.

B2 has some goodies that can only be obtained once you return a little later in the story to rescue a Toad. You can use him as a projectile to smash down brick walls like the one you speak of.

That being said, I don't think I ever actually figured out that coin jar myself.

I guess they managed to make Zelda Maker work after all.

It's like the Mystery Costumes, but better!

[up] I'd prefer the Warp Star/Maxim Tomato.

Huh. Well, the Master Sword was unexpected. I guess they saw how popular Zelda themed levels are. And they may be testing out some ideas for an actual Zelda Maker. Looking forward to it.

Also, this "ninji" thing looks suspiciously similar to Mario Royale... but it plays differently. Maybe I'm being too paranoid, but it looks to me like they may have been wanting to make an official equivalent, but decided this would work better for whatever reason. Probably for lag issues.

Sad how it took until mobile games for Nintendo to put the Mario characters in unique and different outfits.

[up] Odessey did it first for Mario and Peach, though most of Mario's outfits are based on stuff he's already worn or are references to other characters' clothes.
