His second skin, green with yellow spots. It looks to be based on the original design from Super Mario Bros. 1. The first skin, red with white spots, is more classic to me since it's been the default ever since Super Mario Bros 3, and in Smash it's in a pot, not a pipe.

So I've been playing some Mario 64. Pretty fun, I think it still holds up in a lot of ways, but... Man, I would love an HD remake on Switch. The graphics aren't really the problem so much as the controls and the camera. It feels like Mario has a lot more momentum, almost like he's on ice, and hitboxes can be a bit funky. And the camera is just a pain to reorient all the time. I know it was great for the time, but they could really improve it these days. They could add in content from the DS version too, since it was so hindered by the D-Pad.
