It is already on?
"Here to welcome our new golden-eyed overlords," said Addy promptly. It was hilarious, and some of the staging stuff was better than in the past (from a theater perspective), but I think I may have enjoyed Starship more overall.
Well, I actually joined this site because somebody singled out a fanfic of mine as part of the 10% that's worth dying for.I'm not sure which I liked better. At the beginning I was sure I'd like it less than Starship, but around when the villains had their number or maybe when Robin came in it really seemed to improve. I think I'll have to sit on it and listen to the music again before I can decide; it's pretty close for me.
The real question here is this: when does it get its own page? I can't figure out how to get the @ into the title...
I loved Holy Musical B@tman. I've been seeing people complain because it was so different than anything else they've ever done (the music especially), I actually liked that about it. Everything felt very much like a Batman show should.
Sweet Tooth is probably the best villain they've ever come up with. In part because Jeff Blim's acting was spectacular.
We're going to spread this shit like Nutella.^ Oh yeah. His acting was phenomenal. And I have to wonder how long it took them to come up with all those puns. Or buy all the candy!
I'm still trying to figure out where found the room for all that candy. Obviously some of it was put in between scenes, but there were so many in some of those scenes. Did he have multiple pockets or something?
We're going to spread this shit like Nutella.I am starting to watch... Joe Walker and Brian Holder wearing underwear is pretty distracting >.>
"Here to welcome our new golden-eyed overlords," said Addy promptly.^^ I think he had various internal pockets. Although it's possible that he just had one on each side, they stuck all the candy in by scene, and he just learned what size packet to grab. In which case I am extremely impressed.
AVPSY is the best thing, you guys. And it's out, now.

I'd say I'm being refined Into the web I descend Killing those I've left behind I have been EndarkenedRon's Sidekick song and Lockheart pulling out a copy of the first book were the best moments in my opinion. Though I did find the joke concerning filch and petrified Hermione a bit distasteful. Also, Albus Scarfy Potter. Greatest thing in the whole show.
Overall, a good goodbye, with all the lampshading and hilarity we've come to expect. I'm excited for the recently announced Jafar musical, it sounds like an awesome premise.
Everything happens for a reason. The reason is a chaotic intersection of chance and the laws of physics. You found that distasteful? It's not really new - remember Umbridge and the centaurs? And it fit really well with the setup.
I'd say I'm being refined Into the web I descend Killing those I've left behind I have been EndarkenedWait, Jafar musical?
They were pretty clearly inspired by Wicked. Aladdin is one of my favorite Disney films, and I can't wait until we know more.

Excited for Twisted, so, so very much.

Now that the most popular Harry Potter forum on the internet is closing down, with the stated reason being that Harry Potter isn't relevant anymore, AVPSY feels Harsher in Hindsight.
I'd say I'm being refined Into the web I descend Killing those I've left behind I have been EndarkenedJust watched Holy Musical B@tman! and A Very Potter Senior Year. I haven't seen Starship yet, but since it seems to be everyone's favourite here I think I really should.

Hell yes you should. It has great songs.
"Here to welcome our new golden-eyed overlords," said Addy promptly.Just watched Starship and... I'm speechless. I am really surprised how good that really was. Not that Star Kid has ever done anything outright bad, but I think their completely original works (Little White Lie and Me And My Dick) are their least good ones. I've always thought they're really good at parodying and deconstructing the shit out of the original work. But here everything just works so well. Of course, saying that Starship is an original work might be a bit of a strech, since it so openly mixes plot elements of The Little Mermaid with Alien. Some songs also were clearly placeholders for TLM songs, like "Beauty" for "Kiss the Girl" and "Kick it Up A Notch" for "Poor Unfortunate Souls". Despite the obvious parallels everything was very well executed. The jokes were funny, the songs were catchy and the characters very well-written. Plus the acting was surprisingly good. Star Kid has always had great actors, but here everyone brought their A-game to the stage. It's great to see Brian Holden not to be the nice guy for once and actually pulling it off. And Meredith Stepien, good Dead God. She was good Hermione in AVPSY (obviously she was, if she hadn't been there would have been Replacement Scrappy entry on AVPM page faster than a lightbulb explodes) but her Mega-Girl just steals the show. That robot intonation is perfect and she keeps it even while singing. Overall one of the best if not the best Star Kid production.
It seems that I wasn't quite speechless after all.
Also, I had "To Be A Man" playing in my head my whole working shift. It's really unfortunate one to sing along to.
I always thought Kick It Up A Notch was a mixture that was two parts Poor Unfortunate Souls, one part Feed Me. Since those two songs have the same lyricist/composer, though, it might be more that Poor Unfortunate Souls itself draws on Feed Me.
I'd say I'm being refined Into the web I descend Killing those I've left behind I have been EndarkenedSo, has anyone seen Twisted yet? I'm anxiously waiting for it to go online.
Came out yesterday!
IT'S ALL JA'FAR'S FAULT.
This is all your fault, Ja'far.
Let's be fair: Tiger-fucker is quite an accomplishment.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
Thoughts on Holy Musical B@man, anyone? :D
