Character Development Thread--Discussion

@Yomegami: Which is somewhat funny, because Kina is from a Slice of Life story, and doesn't have much besides fun happen.

Also, I have no objections about the new thread, and it's been quite some time with no further discussion.

I want to discuss it, it's just that I'm dealing with a lot of IRL issues.

Just a head's up; I will be in Florida Friday to Sunday and, depending if the hotel I'm staying at has wifi or not, replies will be a little slow.

Well, Iris is feeling rather impatient at the moment, and she's not a very patient person to begin with. Forsythe didn't address her question (bottom) in your most recent post, hence it seemed as though she was being ignored.

Sorry if that was a lot to address for a 'greeting' sort of post. I find that conversations tend to take forever in the CD Ts if people write back and forth at a more normal conversational rate.

It looks like Archipelago has started to slow down. Between that and the perpetual lack of discussion on the new thread, I've decided that it's been too freaking long and decided to just start going ahead with the inn concept (though I actually haven't written anything down; I'm mostly doing research).

If there's anyone who hasn't given their input on this whole affair, I'd like to hear it. Otherwise, the first update will likely be in a couple days.

Go for it, I'm totally on board with this.

What kind of inn are we talking about? Medieval?

The original concept was this.

What I'm planning on going with is moving it to a mountainside ryokan and getting rid of the non-casual parts (and expanding it quite a bit so there's lots of stuff to do), but otherwise keeping it about the same.

@Yomegami: Sounds fine with me on the new thread. (I don't have any other comments or suggestions at the moment.)

However, given that I'm still swamped with work, and will be for the foreseeable future, I'll only be able to participate with one or two characters, and probably not all that often.

I'll post by the end of the day; I've had homework.

I'm not planning on posting tonight; had a decidedly busy day and I have a calculus test to study for. Posting in general is probably going to be slow over the next week or so between working on the new thread and various other distractions.

Well... I'm always up for posting, and I'm back from enjoying my friend's spring break, so I won't have to put everything off until late late at night.

Sorry for the delay, still trying to get back into the normal swing of things, and spent most of the afternoon asleep.

Apologies about my lack of posting; I just haven't been feeling up to doing anything related to the CDTs lately (which includes working on the new thread). I'll try to get a post in before I go to bed, though.

I think at some point soon we all need to have an in-depth discussion about the future of these threads. But I'm not going to start it now because I'm dealing with a personal crisis.

Leaving for 3-4 hours, so I guess it won't matter much to me if nobody posts. Still, why not poke the lazy bear with a stick? Hasn't mauled me yet. Stir it up and get it to do some circus tricks. Praise it for the good, shake your head at the bad. Poke it more when you're bored; tell it a good joke. It didn't think it was funny? Tough shell. Or it just doesn't understand your joke, which is more plausible than a tortoise-bear. Have a round of honey and slap each other on the back. I forgot where I was going with this, so, uh, ciao.

Yomegami: Does Selena remember City? Or has that been Retcon?

She still remembers it; though it's a past event for her (rather than the current event it is for Joseph, Adam, etc.).
