Its a little too obsessed with the "irony" that in Japan, all animation is "anime".
Also, the word is...weird. Anime-esque. Animeesque? Animesque?
That term is used outside this wiki, so at least that isn't the problem.
And yeah, the ironic part should be saved for just one paragraph in the middle.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Doesn't look too bad to me, though the paragraph on etymology needs to be cut. In fact, I'll do that now.
Also, Code Lyoko shouldn't be on there. It doesn't look like anime' it looks, well, French.
Ukrainian Red CrossSome of it does, some of it doesn't. The massive heads push it to the edge.
Fight smart, not fair.@Mousa: It looks far more French than Japanese.
Ukrainian Red CrossTin Tin is Belgian.
I think Code Lyoko is kind of stuck in the middle. I certainly thought it was Animesque when I first saw it, then I watched some other French animation and it looked French. I'd say leave it on there.
I laugh in the face of suffering.Mousa, Wakfu is the only French cartoon I can name, and it doesn't look anything like Code Lyoko.
Fight smart, not fair.Tangent Alert, Repair Don'tRespond, we should argue about this somewhere else.
Yes, the description to this trope is messy. How should we fix it? Where do we draw the guideline for this?
This one should be locked. We have another thread open here.
Locking duplicate thread.

It's just loaded with sidepoints and minor tangents. It really needs some work.
