HEAVY SPOILERS
The person Kayeka was talking about is a particularly fetching lass that can be clothed in a bunch of sexy clothes. Its only common for most people to focus more attention on her and try to equip her with better gear as a result. Also, she's the first to Die.
That's about it.
And is the Wutai Theft after a hard boss or long cut-scene? What stops reset+strip?
I wasn't really sure whhat part you were reacting to, so I might have misinterpreted some stuff here and there.
Long cutscene, and absolutely no indication that it would happen.

How long?
And the person leaves you before the actual Wutai Theft.
Kayeka, what exactly are you raging about? If you're not raging about the gems, then the clothes? Or maybe I'm just overthinking things when you said "Rage-worthy"?
- Skill Trees - just focus on one for now and forget the others
- Ability Levels - a word of advice: focus on Back Slash. I cannot stress this enough. Back Slash s one of the best damage Arts. On higher levels, its even on par with Monado Buster (although Buster has AOE). Add some points into Light Heal but you'll be getting your healer after Tephra Cave soon so it doesn't really matter. And besides, everything is capped until you buy better books for them anyway.
- Equipment - just focus on what you want your characters to look like. I certainly did.
- Gems - back during my first run on the Japanese version, I only recognized the HP, ATK & DEF stats and I turned out fine. You'll do even better now that you understand them.
- Last Part - eh, I can't really help you on this one. Just observe.
I am raging about (Again, big spoiler for those that can add one and one) the bikini top and bottom, with add up to a total of 12000 G. Which, at those levels, ranks between 'a small fortune' and 'F*CKING EXPENSIVE'. I admit I only bought them for the added hotness (hence the 'genius trolling of perverts', but still.
I still can't believe they did that, really. It was like Madoka Magica all over again.
EDIT: also, for the sake of my gamer cred, I don't have much of a problem with the customisation, but it still feels needlessly complicated and will put of anyone who isn't a big RPG expert.

Oh yeah, I raged at that too. I'm going for this combination◊ instead when I finally get my game.

I forgot to add: Characters can equip skills from other characters, and the amount they can equip depends on the affection they have for each other. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem much customizability in that regard, because when I finished some of my "skill equips" were still empty. Probably for those 4th and 5th skill trees I never collected.
I knew that. Like I said, it's not really my problem.
Though now I do suddenly notice that I have completely forgotten to upgrade the Monado arts. Damm. Better start putting some points in 'Enchant' right away.
Fun Fact: I didn't know what Monado Enchant did until half-way through the game. So I was stuck in one place because of the dozens of robots patrolling the valley between me and Colony 6. It was so hard, everybody was in red HP almost constantly. >___< Damn, was that a nightmare.
And when I finally found out what it did, I facepalmed. HARD.
Can you give the females real clothes?
@ Izaak and Kayeka: Is the character in question your childhood friend Fiorun/Fiona? I need to know which one it is so I don't waste my equipment choices.
Also, some good news. According to Gonintendo, at least one shop has seen stock shortage which should mean that it's doing well over here. There are some disc reading problems, but I'm presuming that's because Xenoblade Chronicles is dual-layered over here meaning it's a problem with the Wii and not the game in general, and that it can be easily fixed. Additionally, European critics have given it rave reviews. More good news like that and No A will probably come to the conclusion that it will be very profitable to bring this game over.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!@Kayeka
Some of you bad points look more like good points...
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Damm, that had to suck. That being said, I still got stuck at that point for a second, until I started to actually pick my battles in such a way that I don't get immediately swarmed.
Quite certainly, yes. There is some questionable stuff, but most of it is actually quite decent.
If you still want to know such a big-ass spoiler to prevent a minor annoyance: yes.
Such as?

Thank you. I care more about not getting struck with So Long, and Thanks for All the Gear than spoilers. It's kind of an annoyance for me.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!They're mechanics. Mechanics are always YMMV.
- Battle system takes some getting used to, and even then you might loose track of your character in the mayhem.
- Character customisation is rather complicated, leaving you with the feeling that you must be doing something wrong.
- Every single monster type will come with at least 5 different Underground Monkey variants, often not that much tougher then the weaker variants. You done killing those 5 stone crabbles for the quest? Now go kill 5 IRON crabbles.*
- There are more interesting side quests that actually seem to matter to the local population, but in order to access these, you need to build reputation. By doing boring quests.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."BTW are there any male mages, or male Magic Knights in this game? Probably going to play as a male character anyways but these two types of characters are preferred.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!From what I gather it seems that all the chracters are M Ks unless you build them in one direction or another.
Huh. I don't know what you'd classify as "male" or "magic knight". On one hand, he's male. On the other hand, he's a big ball of fluff.
Non of the characters are Magic Knights per se. They occupy a specific role instead. Yes, there's the designated Mage character, but everyone else is much more hazy.

Hm... I guess that will have to do.
I classify Magic Knights as anyone that has at least some spells up in their repertoire of battle techniques, or Full-Contact Magic. While that may mean that some are more fighter than mage, this is a JRPG and I have to do with what I've got. I can't afford to be picky.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!There's only one character that fits that description, and that's the aforementioned big ball of fluff.
Then he will be the one I will use (or at least have on my primary team). The other males I'm considering playtime use is Dunban and Shulk.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!I think Shulk is the one he was talking about, but I could be mistaken.
So, how far are you guys now? Met Melia and Riki yet? Met [SPOILER] yet?
^^ Trolling for perverts? How?
