If anything, it feels like another compilation season with different animators again.

S 16 E 1 is out today for First members. Not being a First member, I couldn't possibly comment on it.

The new intro was uploaded on Youtube though. Kinda reminds me of Doctor Who.

Dude, that whole thing with Donut, that was just fucked up. This is going to be one hell of a season.

Would this retroactively make Season 15 part of the story arc considering what the time machine did?

Eeugh... Did the jokes not land to anyone else? The episode wasn't bad, it just kind of fell flat. Oh well. Let's see where this all goes.

Yeah, the humor was a little off. I suspect that any show going 15 seasons and reusing some of its old humor is going to lose some of its appeal. I've been feeling it since last season actually, but I adore this show's wackiness too much to really care.

It's also more consistently enjoyable than RWBY and Nomad of Nowhere currently are so there's that

I'm confused as to why Grif seems to be back to the way he was before his last season character arc, or maybe I'm misreading this.

I'm also not sure what happened with Donut exactly. I saw a bunch of clones then his body getting crunched and then... poof.

Yeah, I had the same feeling with last season, but they managed to hit at least one every episode there. This one was just consistently uninteresting.

Yeah, that is a thing. It's RT's comfort zone, after all.

Grif does seem to have reverted. I wonder where they're going with this.

Nah, I enjoy that as well. I think it works as a light kids show, with possibly inclinations of turning into something more.

Grif's character arc in the last season was about his separation from everyone else. He missed being with them, but that does not mean he's fine for another epic adventure that he is about to get.

Also, that horse line was great.

Well this got even stranger than last episode. Feels like Rick and Morty. Not that it's a bad thing. Also, Sarge shooting tornado: I would like to see that in action.

Hm. Still not massively into any of this. Again, it's not bad, but it's just not landing. Giant alien lady sounds interesting. Also sounds slightly like Jen Brown to me, but maybe I'm just tripping.

Also, do they not upload these on youtube anymore? RT's player is still not exactly the most stable thing in the world for me.

The new season will only be available on the RT site. I think there was a PSA on that.

Just checked. Yeah, no Youtube this time. I imagine it's because of all the recent Youtube drama is what could be causing RT to pull away. It may not be immediate, but who knows if the company will pull away from the site entirely.

"recent?" Feels like it's been non-stop since 2010.

I don't know, I liked this episode. Grif's refusal to let the plot move forward was funny. And we're definitely at the "crazy hijinks" part of the story. Everybody thrown into different time periods, everybody trying to finish a quest that Donut didn't finish explaining, actual time travel, an invincible, shapeshifting opponent.

Not sure how I feel about the fantasy/time travel/evil goddess of death elements, but I'm curious to see where it goes.

Well, this is moving fast.

I don't think she is a goddess, but rather a Sufficiently Advanced Alien who thinks that she is a goddess.

She feels more like a Dragon to me, like she's the one Carolina/Wash/Locus get to fight while the Reds and the Blues go stop the actual villain.

From Matt's journal it will eventually make it's way to You Tube after it's finished it's run on the site. Wild guess, maybe some of their Red vs Blue episodes were flagged for using Halo assets and they want to avoid that. This does seem to be a decision that only affects RVB and none of their other free content.

Episode 3 has been released to the public.

Poor Tucker. I guess he's not getting with Sister anytime soon.

Ok, this episode was pretty good. Sister's part, especially, but everything about Caboose with a time machine is amazing. I bet you he's going to be the most proactive one by accident.

Episode 4 has been released to the public.

The two main takeaways of this episode are that Tucker will always be cock-blocked by Tucker and that Tucker should never handle a sniper rifle despite having a better shot than Church.

I'm so glad Sister's back. Her portions are consistently the best ones here. Especially since she's taking Tucker's bravado down a peg. Or several.

A world without pizza is the ultimate form of Nightmare Fuel...

Sister's segments are the best.

And oh lord has the crude humor finally landed. Finally an answer to whether or not Sister/Tucker actually happened. And Tucker cock-blocked himself. :p
