Could be. It seems the style, and there are no visible knots (the origin of *shibari* is in a kind of tie used by police for arrested nobles. No commoner would be allowed to tie up a noble, and so they learned ways to restrain without tying a knot, many methods of such could be entirely released with the right but of type twitched out of place).
