"Sh-t!" Tatsu struggled to recharge faster. "So you plan on fighting, huh?" All six wings started flapping furiously, pushing most of the smoke out of view. "God, I didn't need this kind of trouble." The toxic was sapping his already nearly-exhausted vitality away.

"I say we just kill them. There are times when raw power is all you need." The arm looked rather hopeful for the destructive path.

"That's not very responsible..." The opposite arm was shyly reprimanding its counterpart.

"Right. We're supposed to uphold the highest justice, this won't stop us." Tatsu was nearly keeling over. "I may need to rest, however. I can't go on like this." Tatsu's HP hit 1, thus deactivating Toxic.

The Hydreigon weakly dropped to the ground, asleep.

Then, a large shadow stretched itself over the sleeping Brutal Pokémon.

Travis dove into the lake, and began following Paul from below the water's surface.

As he drew nearer to the Psyduck, the Dewott fished out his Lum Berry and ate it.

"Stupid bird, you'll get yours, after I'm through with your friend..."

Paul was still running, looking for an exit.

Sparks looked back over at Flint and the others, it was now or never, he looked at te road in front of him...

[[spoiler: What was the idea again? Sparks stay with Flint or...?

Lux limped back into the building, Em was waiting for him inside.

"They got the Pichu, they think their safe, all in their territory...We must go after them."

Em looked rather taken back.

"Moving in on their territory can cause a gang war, are you sur-"

"Yes I'm sure! They have already declared it, kidnapping a member, if you'd remember the rules Em!"

The Emolga flinched at Lux's Mood Whiplash...

Kori rolled to the side, getting to her feet and wincing as the Will-O-Wisp brushed by her arm.

This isn't working...

Rather than attack right away, she began to slowly circle Nostrum, charging up another Ice Punch.

Titan turned to Flint. "Show we, uh, skedaddle? I mean, all the crates are on fire and staying here isn't gonna do us much good." He said.

Flint nodded. "Yeah, let's leave!" He declared/

Nostrum circled as well, a condescending smirk on his lips. "I must admit, I'm disappointed. You were part of the group that took down the Claw Gang, yet you haven't even touched me, yet. Although since you didn't really do anything in that, I guess that's to be expected."

Kori gritted her teeth.

Don't bite. Ignore him.

Instead, she continued circling, looking for weaknesses in his defenses.

"You'd be surprised what I've accomplished since then."

Sluggard lost his grip on the tongue, but used his Psychic to launch himself forward as he charged an Ice Punch.

"I am OWNING you, you fat fatty... FAT FAT!"

Nostrum raised an eyebrow. "Oh? And what might that be?" he asked as a dark nexus of energy began to surround him.

"Nice insult. Did your mother teach you that one?" Lickitung asked before he slammed his tongue onto the ground, catapulting him high into the air. He then began to spin in another Rollout, dropping towards Sluggard with meteoric force.

Striker tried dodging the oncoming Booster's attack, but he was a little too slow, and the bird struck him in his side, ripping through part of his cape. His cape. His prized possession. Oh, FUCK no! Screw dodging, it's MY TURN! His usually calm demeanor was replaced by his Hot-Blooded side, and he went into over-drive.

Temporarily ignoring the pain in his side, the Mienshao began punching Booster relentlessly, no longer feeling any counter-attacks inflicted upon him.

Booster flew past Striker after ripping through his cloak, managing to dodge all but a few of the Mienshao's counter punches. He hovered in the air, his wings flapping as he smirked.

"What's the matter? Did I rip up your precious cloak?"

"BASTARD!" Pissed at himself for letting his anger blind him and most of all pissed at the smug Staraptor for tearing his cloak, Striker jumped up and grabbed Booster by his talons. He then hurled the bird into the ground, forming an Aura Sphere in his hands and releasing it directly in Booster's chest.

How the hell can he jump that high?! Booster thought in surprise before Striker threw him into the ground. Knocked out for a short time by the impact, Booster opened his eyes the instant before the Aura Sphere hit him, crying out as the attack hit.

After the smoke cleared he got up, growling. "You impudent little rat! You'll pay!"

He shot towards Striker, throwing rapid blows towards the Mienshao's face with his feet.

Eltenios was still carrying some momentum from trying to circle the Ariados so he couldn't avoid the entirely of the attack; however, he quickly decided that he could still get the atack actually in and rushed heads on attempting to literally crash against the spider's legs before the sticky stuff took its toll on him.

Striker's lack of a defensive position allowed Booster's attacks to easily reach their mark, leaving bloody furrows on his face and knocking him to the ground.

Slowly pushing himself of the ground, he glared at the Staraptor. "Who are you calling a rat!" With that, he charged at Booster, jumping up for a roundhouse kick to the bird's torso.

Booster yelped in pain at the roundhouse kick, then growled and threw his wings towards Striker's cheeks in imitations of hooks.

Aranos chittered in surprise at the Arcanine's head-on approach, Eltenios managing to bowl him over even as he was sprayed with silk.

"I've fought the Scizor Katan and his lackeys. I've infiltrated the Thorn Gang's hideout. I've become a spy."

Even as she spoke, Kori went over a battle strategy in her head.

He keeps dodging. He's fast. I need to be faster, or...

It hit her. Not being effective was better than not hitting. She let her Ice Punch dissipate, and charged Nostrum with a Faint Attack.

Nostrum shot forward himself, the dark aura flaring up around him becoming a dark version of Volt Tackle as the Umbreon used Quick Attack.

Eltenios tumbled over, starting to get stuck to the ground because of the silk. He tried to get up but felt his body getting heavier and number than usual. Thinking he needed to make distance between him and the Ariados either way, he suckd air in and let out a Roar.

Aranos hunkered down low to the ground, digging the claws on his legs into the floor. He raised his head and let loose with a Screech, meeting the Roar and pushing it back.

Flint & co would find Sparks safely where he had been the while battle, he looked up at them.

"Where are we going?"

Kori gritted her teeth but continued her attack, the two slamming into each other at the same time. Kori jumped back, circling Nostrum again as she decided her next move.

Still not working. New tactic.

Continuing her circle, Kori opened her mouth to use Screech.

"No, yours did. Last night."

Sluggard met the Rollout with a Zen Headbutt.

"Do we really have to do this again? It's just going to end like last time, you wrapping me with the tongue, and me using Ice Punch until you can't feel it anymore, but during the last attack you KO me just as you pass out."

Battered back by Booster's assault, Striker started throwing a flurry of punches of his own at the Staraptor, his rage allowing him to temporarily ignore the talons ripping into his face.
