Characters: You can choose any one character from any franchise provided they are at 3 or below on the Super Weight chart. No OC's allowed. One can have more pc's if proven a capable rper.
Rules: No Godmode, trolling, or metagaming. Other than that, have fun.
Gameplay: The Visitors (player characters) go through "Floors" of the Tower, like a dungeon crawling RPG. The difference is that each "Floor" will be a borrowed piece of a franchise that the characters can interact in, for example, the village of Konoha or the Soul Society. The main objective is to slay the Hypotheses (boss) that is corrupting that floor, though I strongly support character interactions along the way. When you clear a Floor, you end a Chapter in the Book of the Tower, which is like the Bible in a way, it details what the characters did. You have access to anything from a cleared Floor and can take them into other Floors to help out with challenges.
Any questions?
My character is Shotaro from B Ichi.

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.I'm going to play Ben Tennyson from Alien Force.
To Be Updated when I'm not LazyAccepted.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected. Also to let you know Grey Star has declared me a sub-GM.
To Be Updated when I'm not LazyI'd maybe join, if I can think of someone to play.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundAnyone under Weight class 3 is fine.
To Be Updated when I'm not LazySounds interesting... Can I join as Tsuna?
Where there is light, there is darkness. Can I play as Detritus?
Powerset for Tsuna and Weight class?
Same for Detritus.

To Be Updated when I'm not LazyDetritus is a troll, so he's basically a Mighty Glacier. He also gets smarter in cold weather, and less intelligent in warm weather. So... probably a high 1 or low 2.
He's a high 2.

Where there is light, there is darkness.Hmmmmmmrrrrrgghhh...
Interesting. So God's asleep and His automatons have gone awry, eh?
First time I've heard someone of that level of power called something as... innocuous as "Researcher", though. Carry on.
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?@Loco I can have some fun with that.
@Curry I like it but I need to see what Grey Star thinks. I never got the right to approve people.
To Be Updated when I'm not LazyI'm not sure on a character, so I'll hold off on this for the moment.
"Yup. That tasted purple."So is this like the MMFRPG where the characters wake up in a strange place and try to get out?
@Curry: Cool, Tsuna's in.
@Fusion: You have permission to admit entries you see fit.
@Loco: You're not trapped, but you're trying to free the Floors of the Tower from the Hypotheses so they can't reach the Researcher. You pretty much unlock areas in the multiverse and have fun trying to cure the corruption. Your main base of operations is called the Gateway, a room that grants you access to more Floors.

Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Sort of, only it's a dungeon crawl as well.
"Yup. That tasted purple."@GS Thanks Ma'am
Say you want me to post that list on how it's different from the MMFRPG?
To Be Updated when I'm not LazyI've edited my last post to help clarify things.
Always be ready to do the unusual and unexpected.Sounds cool.
Actually, this sounds a bit like Castle Oblivion, only without the whole "forcing you to play a children's card game when you want to battle" bit.
"Yup. That tasted purple."Well Grey Star is a Kingdom Hearts fan.
Seriously though I like multiversal Castle Oblivion.
To Be Updated when I'm not LazyWait, I forgot to mention Detruis's weapon, which brings him up to a level 2. It's basically a medieval siege weapon that fires a dozen spears at once, and has been known to reduce a wall to a pile of rubble.
Glad to see you guys like it!
Now if only people will stop saying my rp is a clone...

Book of the Tower
Chapter 0: Seeds of the Beginning
Countless years ago, the universe was empty of everything. Life, space, time... nothing of that sort existed. It was absolutely devoid of anything... an infinite span of darkness that stretched entire realms... It was a still, stagnant era...
And then, a spark came into being, so brilliant that it illuminated the black folds of nothing. The spark grew brighter every day, and eventually it exploded, bursting forth into what became the universe we know. Stars grew into being from gases, planets formed from primordial dust. Entire worlds were born through the magic of creation.
With them, one object in particular was made... the Researcher. It was a being of immense power, who lived for learning and knowledge. He traveled the universe, living for countless years on various worlds, stars, and space itself, learning all there was to know. Eventually, he learned of all there was to know in the universe, and he ascended into the realms of true godhood.
It wasn't enough though... for as it pained him to admit, he was lonely, for he was the only sentient being alive in his universe. Yet, with his enlightenment, he pondered... and thought of other dimensions, different from his own. Why should there be only one plane of existence, he thought. There is infinite possibility, so of course there should be different planes of existence...
Off he traveled, bypassing the veils of different worlds as he continued traveling, ever expanding the knowledge of a god as he researched countless ways of existence. It made him ponder, if he too could make life in his world, so he would be able to interact with such amazing creatures like he saw in the other planes.
Returning to his dimension, he designed what could only be described as an infinite tower. The Tower stretched infinitely through the plane, as large as his imagination. It seemed to go on forever, the visage of such a place enough to destroy any sense of logic. It was magnificent, otherworldly, and full of possibilities. Its very shape was always changing, reforming so often that one could only describe it as a Tower in the vaguest sense of being.
Eventually, the Researcher deigned to rest from his exertions, choosing to hibernate in the top floor of the Tower, a realm that could only be described as Heaven. Before he slept, he entrusted the caretakers of the Tower, the Hypotheses, the first sentient beings he had ever formed, to take care of the Tower. The Hypotheses agreed, and the Researcher retired from the affairs of his world. These beings did as the Researcher willed, keeping vigil on the Tower. That wasn't to say that they continued on forever without tampering. Growing conceited, the Hypotheses manipulated the Tower with their wills, and usurped the power of the sleeping Researcher for their own devices.
Since they couldn't make anything on their own, they opted to borrow from other sources, namely, the more developed other dimensions. Plucking a piece from here and there, they absconded with fragments of such worlds and fit them into the Tower, building it into a plane of existence quite unlike any other. Dimensions were stacked upon each other, like a tower, expanding forever upwards in an attempt to reach the Researcher's immortal body and achieve his powers. However, not all in those borrowed dimensions were under the Hypotheses' power. These few have for whatever reason, absolute immunity to the Hypotheses' manipulations, and have chosen to oppose the usurpers to gain freedom for the others trapped in the Tower.
Here is where our tale shall begin, with the selected few that aren't affected by the Hypotheses and how they clashed with our god-like gaolers. This is how our history began, what events shaped our world, and the actions the chosen have taken to have let the world progress to what it is now. It is the tale of how we of the Tower have achieved independence from the Hypotheses, and how the chosen have impacted the history of this world. This is the Tale of the Beginning of the End of the Hypotheses reign, and our freedom.
