I haven't seen the footage, but didn't some previews mention his presence on the second island?
SoundCloudYeah, though we haven't seen Knuckles yet but we do know where we're going to meet him - generally speaking - in the story.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I just realized.
That scene in the TGS trailer where the Giant Angel enemy grabs sonic and throws him into a mountain kinda reminds me of the first boss of Asura's Wrath, where Wyzen does the same thing to Asura in Episode 5.
Kinda of an interesting visual reference.

Every time someone claims to be realistic is a dour cynic in disguise. They posted a video with zero context.
Oh.
Guess that's taken seriously now.
Every time someone claims to be realistic is a dour cynic in disguise. It is, thumps for it have gotten a lot more common recently.
And deservedly so, it's annoying to have like, half a title and a single thumbnail as the only context for a video.
Even short ones where that's the only context needed...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Weblinks Are Not Examples. This applies on the forums as well, for two main reasons:
- Not everyone is willing or able to click on links to understand what is being discussed or brought up for discussion.
- Expecting people to do so when you can't be bothered to put in the effort of summarizing the content is rude.
There is one primary exception: when the thread is about a specific serial work or a specific content creator and you are posting an expected installment of their content. Examples include webcomics and review shows, although for the latter you should at least mention what work is being reviewed.
For short-form content like tweets, it is also acceptable to quote the tweet in its entirety.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"The closest thing I've seen where a quote kind of makes sense is; "Can somebody post this song?" and then you post the exact song while quoting the other user. It's technically reasonable context. The most that could be theoretically missing is what artist or channel is hosting it, but you still have a pretty clear idea of what the context is.
I can't say if it counts enough, mind you. But that's more of a thing that's of the opinion of those who enforce the rules.
If the prompt is, "Where can I find this?" and someone provides a link, that's fine.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Posting a video without context is the same as just dropping a link to the thread. Regardless, questions and concerns regarding moderation and rule enforcement go here. Let's re-rail back to discussing Sonic the Hedgehog please.
Macron's notesI've been careful since I did get thumped for posting a video without fully explaining the context.
Though I think it was because I was making a joke and full context would have ruined it.
But since then, I've tried to be a bit more careful since that's the first time a post I made got thumped....which is impressive for me, since I put my foot in my mouth a lot.
One Strip! One Strip!I found an interesting article that says for the first time, Frontiers' dialogue was written by Ian Flynn first and then completely redone by the Japanese team for localization purposes. Usually for Sonic games it's the other way around.

The Protomen enhanced my life.A similar scenario happened for Generations, so yeah.
Another good sign for the game's potential success?
Every time someone claims to be realistic is a dour cynic in disguise. That also happened with Lost World.
To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back. That's beside the point.
Every time someone claims to be realistic is a dour cynic in disguise.I mean, if we're gonna cite that as a sign of success for Frontiers, its fair to bring up when it wasn't
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.if nothing else, it's showing that the japanese team is at least willing to concede on points like these.
they knew that the IDW comics were being received incredibly well, and decided to use that success
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeSega of Japan showing some humility? Did pigs learn to fly?
