Doraemon

I meant I've seen it the first week it came out, and as far as i'm aware, much has been altered to make it less authentic(Japanese-like) to reach the audience. I like what it did voice cast wise, but I didn't stay interested for long. Plus, I prefer what I've seen in the original subs. I just hope it still impresses the fans.

Im so happy, I loathe the edits, but if it keeps anime alive and accesible to children, Im all for it. Besides, I heard the movies might be uncut! <3

It's not the "accessible to children" part that annoyed me.

Its not my fault you take one part of my statement and become annoyed because of it. And even so, I still state again. Sure there are other anime on TV for kids but even 1 is still giving the good fight of keeping it alive. You might think its melodramatic but I dont care.

And it's not my fault you seem to take offense to my annoyed reactions to your insistence that the fate of anime hangs on a robot cat.

Ok that's true. Im quite insecure like that, and I cant help but be annoyed.I apologize for that. I never said that only Doraemon keeps anime alive. I did say it does, but other kids anime like DBZ Kai on Adult Swim and Toonami and even Digimon Fusion and Yu Gi Oh on Nicktoons. Its a group thing but I will give each anime credit individually.

I've viewed most of the episodes of the English dub, and from what I've seen, they're actually doing a decent job. The voice actors do good work and the dialogue doesn't sound too forced. I don't see why people are fussing so much over the edits, as the edits haven't altered the context of the episodes that much. If anything, the edits are actually more lenient than 4Kids, as they allow things like guns, violence, toilet humor, nudity (albeit covered up), and even implied death.

I think you meant "Havent altered Context or Story of the episodes". Right?

Actually, all the nudity and Shizuka's underwear were covered up in the 2005 version because of Japanese television law has gotten stricter or something.

Is anyone still out there?

Doraemon still has an American fanbase despite Disney no longer airing it. Not too long ago, there were even some toys and shirts released in the U.S. by Viz Media.

Do you think Disney will ever bring back Doraemon due to increasing interest in the series?

In other news, do you think the 2019 movie will be a new film or a remake of an old one?

I'm thinking about giving each Doraemon movie its own page. Anyone willing to help?

Aaaaah it's hard, I love every single one of them! Though I have a particular fondness for Nobita's Little Space War, Steel Troops and Tin Labyrinth.
