They're fan terms describing similar but slightly different reactions. Ruined Forever means anything new will make the franchise never be the same, even retroactively (the DVD's will burst into flames somehow). They Changed It, Now It Sucks! is the declaration that any change is bad and it cannot somehow be helpful to the future of the franchise.

Ruined Forever is premature declarations of Jumped the Shark. The name They Changed It, Now It Sucks! implies that changes ruin a work, but it's just noting that fans complain about changes, particularly in adaptations.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I'm more concerned about the sheer bitchiness of the They Changed It, Now It Sucks! article.

The new It Just Bugs Me!Which kind of bitchiness, people bashing a series for changing or people bashing fans for daring to criticize the changes to a series?
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.The latter.
- These people are being just as whiny as the fans they're complaining about. The page loses credibility when half the examples contain a strawman. I doubt most of those fans are literally saying "A MINOR CHANGE HAPPENED? RUINED FOREVER!!!! BAWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!111"
- The very nature of the page means that we're only hearing one side of the story. For all we know, the people complaining about changes are being reasonable and the people editing this page are overreacting.
- We're asking people who are just as emotionally invested in a work as the people they're bitching about to only talk about fans overreacting to minor changes. Since the definition of "minor change" and "overreacting" is subjective, it's not going to work.
And then there's the overwhelmingly nasty tone of the opening paragraphs, which isn't helping the issue.

The new It Just Bugs Me!Yet another bitchy YMMV looking for an Example Sectionectomy.
But the bitchiness is very funny, with stuff like how Pokemon games change the grass.
That doesn't justify the significantly larger amount of bile on those pages.
It looks like this was originally adaption based only, but it has expanded. Isn't this the same as Ruined FOREVER?
