Crop the hallmarks.
Abuse is not always physical (and in fact it's a major misconception to think so) so I like the current image.
Well, "abuse is not always physical" doesn't help the fact that the image doesn't really show any kind of abuse explicitly.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyBoy do i have a problem with some of the examples of this trope....
How about this? [1]◊
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!@Ghilz: I never said it had to be physical, only that it has to be obvious when in image form. Although physical is definitely easier to show in a picture.

It's not easy to demonstrate non-physical abuse. The current image doesn't demonstrate abuse at all; just talking.
Rhymes with "Protracted."That looks like S&M gone too far ;-P
Got one, still physical.
But they're not too strong.

The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.I think the one embedded in Catalogue's post (man's fist in foreground) is really good.
The Titanic image is weak, and as popular as the movie is, the characters don't reach that tiny elite number that are granted immunity from JAFAAC.
Jet-a-Reeno!That physical abuse image is excellent.
Rhymes with "Protracted."Catalogue's Image. hand's down.
Er... Pun not intended.
Catalogue's image is scarily good. For the record, Fast Eddie nuked that Zero No Tsukaima pic from a page that I had posted it on for being "too explicit", so we can't use it here either.

Bump.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Catalogue's embedded picture is excellent.
If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead? The man's fist and crouching woman is excellent.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Nthing the fist shot.
Infinite Tree: an experimental story
The current image doesn't show any kind of abuse. I say borderline because while there's's definitely an undertone of menace, no explicit abuse is taking place (but of course, some people might find a more explicit image to be too disturbing and/or in bad taste). On the other hand, Titanic is probably well known enough to justify any JAFAACness.
(Plus it's covered in hallmarks.)
