Roberts giggled to himself as he leapt from treetop to treetop, life was pretty good, the park was doing well and so many young trainers were learning the importance of respecting nature and pokemon environments. Roberts himself was very popular, not just for his shiny mane but also for his record of never being caught, he was the mascot of the park!

Roberts found it pretty easy, he was a master of disguise and could hide anywhere, illusionary powers were very useful. His favorite trick was to disguise himself as a park ranger and just walk the trails and give kids cross looks. It worked very well, the other important part was to listen carefully.

Such as the approaching footsteps, Roberts wasn't too worried, probably just a park ranger checking up on everything, making sure there were no hazards, though the footsteps were a bit heavier than what Roverts was used to. He stretched and landed, looking over, <Hey Ranger Rick is tha->

Roberts was met face to face with a tall man in grey and orange armor, his helmet glowing with two white glowing eyes staring through it, "There you are," the man said.

Fight or Flight kicked in and Roberts jumped back a full 10 feet as the man opened a pokeball, releasing a Charizard. It stretched and gave a grin, the Zard had to be old judging by the colour of his scales, Roberts was very worried now, "Alright Rodan... care to give him the ultimatum?"

<Sure Jack, not like you can understand us anyways,> Rodan said with a grin, turning to the illusion fox, <Hey buddy, surrender quietly or else we're gonna take you by force. Jack here doesn't like damaging goods.>

<Excuse me! I'm not merchandise!>

Rodan stared, and then looked over to a paper cup with Roberts face printed on it, and then looked back to Roberts, <Riiiiiiiiiiiight.>

Jack cricked his neck a bit, "So. You calling me by my name or my title?"

Rodan let out a laugh, <Right right, you like to be called Delta.>

Delta sighed, "You know maybe I should've broken out Zatara... if only he wasn't so loud, least I can understand him."

Roberts growled, <You can't have me! I can take on some old Charizard easy! The future is now old man!>

Rodan gave a shocked and hurt expression, Delta started a low laugh, it had a unnatural rumble to it, though that might've been the helmet, "He called you old didn't he?"

Rodan nodded, "Hmmmm... issue, well, good job keeping him still," Delta said before quickdrawing his petrifier pistol. Roberts ran out of the way, only to see the yellow beam strike a slowbro that had just entered.

<Sorry I'm late for the party but you'll never believe who I ran i-> and in a instant the Slowbro was a bronze coloured statue. Roberts started to panic heavily.

"Damn, missed, ah well. Let me check my client's order... slowbro... no. Just a Zoroark that's famous for not being caught ever."

Roberts screamed in fear and dashed into the forest, hoping to lose Delta among the trees. Delta smirked, "Rodan are you up for combat or causing a forest fire tonight?"

Rodan gave a middling gesture and Delta chuckled, "Figures, too much attention. Provide me some light please, we're going to go for a nice nature walk," Delta said, before he tossed out a set of pens into the air, which quickly unfolded into miniature drones with blue scanning light. "I'll wear him down before long."

Roberts tucked around a tree and threw up a illusion of a ursaring sleeping, this usually works, especially as Roberts never left footprints since he used the trees so much. All he had to do was just wait it out until the human got tired and left, or until the park rangers caught him, Roberts was uncaught cause he avoided fighting for a very good reason!

Until a bunch of weird pen objects flew by, one scanning the ursaring... only to start blinking a bright red as the others converged on it. <THAT MANIAC CAN TRACK ME?!>

Roberts rushed up into the treetops and away from the drones as fast as he could, the drones stopped blinking and started moving as Delta rushed over and observed the area, "Clever ain't he?"

The zoroark kept heading in further, only to spot another drone, <Okay okay Roberts calm down... just gotta... avoid the pen, or break it! Yeah can't find me if it's broken!>

He fired a tiny shadow ball and broke the drone, grinning to himself about how clever he was. Only to see Delta walk over to the broken drone's location, his helmet displaying some sort of graphic interface or something on it, "Drone broke here, no signs of other damage to the surroundings, range move couldn't be too far off."

He was now followed by Rodan, and a Golurk, hope was starting to seem slim for Roberts. "Mazinger, get ready, he could be any corner, maybe trying to ambush us."

Mazinger nodded, <Of course, I will hold him back for you! I am the mightiest you have! COME AT ME! The other Zoroarks we encountered, nothing! NOTHING!!>

Delta chuckled, "Whatever you're saying, it's probably a challenge... which reminds me."

There was a slight static hum and then Delta's voice echoed through the nearby area, "I know you're here Roberts. Face up to what's going to happen, I am a persistence hunter, I have the tools at my disposal, there is nowhere you can run, nowhere you can hide. I am the thing that keeps you up at night, the evil that haunts every dark corner of your mind. I will never rest, and neither will you."

Roberts was feeling desperate... he knew he shouldn't attack a human, but he was running low on options, this man was a predator and he was his prey... so the only option Roberts had left was to attack him... attack directly, he waited until the Golurk and Charizard got far enough away, and Delta turned away, and then, he leaped forward, claws bared.

Roberts let out a feral roar hoping to take Delta off, only to suddenly feel himself stopped, restrained, there was another laugh, and down floated a Alakazam.

Roberts just stared at the Alakazam in the top hat, what the hell was he looking at?

Delta turned around, "Nice catch Zatara."

~Thank you sir.~

"Amazing what a little planning and psychic powers can do, Roberts, congrats, you've been caught."

Delta raised the petrifier, and fired, <NOOOOO->

The Zoroark statue was outstanding, "The client will be happy with this."

~What about the guild?~

"Well obviously I'll get a bit of notoriety for catching something supposedly uncatchable, especially a shiny."

Rodan looked to Mazinger, then to Delta, <Zatara please translate. Uh Delta, you look like you're having fun.>

Delta stretched and took off his helmet, breathing in the cool night air, "Fun isn't something one considers when finishing a job. But this? Heheheheh... This does put a smile on my face."

The trophy stand was set on, and Delta and co transferring it out, they'd be gone before morning.

The park opened and the Rangers opened the gates, people came in to enjoy the trails and see the Zoroarks, there were less out today, and quite a few were found injured. The Rangers had to suddenly close the park and investigate, noticing a certain shiny type missing, it got worse when a few hours later they couldn't find any trace of Roberts.

By the end, they realized that Roberts was caught, someone had done what they had advertised as impossible.

Hotel adjacent to Haina desert

Armando: <You mean the coffee I made was worthless?!>

Cortez: <Relax, it's not that bad!>

Silversmith flashed back to his nightmare. He decided to drown in sorrows in coffee, and wake up as a nice benefit.

Silversmith Senior.: "I didn't know you liked coffee."

Silversmith: "I don't. I didn't sleep well."

Silversmith Senior.: "Oh. Was that the thump I heard last night?"

Silversmith: "*yawn* Probably."

Silversmith Senior.: "Sorry. Oh, just so you two know, were headed back to Unova today. Probably in the afternoon, I'll keep in touch."

Silversmith: "Sounds good."

During this exchange, Aqua had made yet another heroic attempt to eat the fruit on Cortez's tail. She majestically leapt from the bed, and was unfortunately thwarted by a well timed hop from Cortez.

Aqua: <Look out! I'm on the floor!>

Silversmith clumsily picked her up.

Aqua: <Woah woah be careful! I almost pricked you! ...Are you ok Jackson? Your eyes look like my friend's eyes, back at the sea.>

Silversmith: "I'm fine. Don't *yawn* jump again."

He set her on the counter.

Aqua: <Uhh, that zorua's not looking to good either. What's her name?>

Armando: <Mischief.>

Aqua: <What about it?>

Armando: <*sigh* No, that's her name.>

Aqua: <Oooh. Hey Mischief, what's up?>

Silversmith, to Shadow: "I think I'm awake now. You said something about fighting chanseys, right? Sounds fine. I need some more power anyways, I've lost nearly every fight ever, and I couldn't contribute to the Necrozma battle either. Let's do it."

Ophidia: -groans- <Decaf? Who even drinks decaf...> -chugs caffeinated coffee- <Ahhh, much better! Now, let's get ready to go! ... Assuming you're willing, Armando...> -more hearts as she cuddles Armando-

The Zorua climbs into Shadow's bag as he picks it up.

Shadow: Ready and willing! Boy did I sleep well! I feel completely refreshed!

Mischief: <... Shut the hell up...>

Shadow: ... Mischief? You had the nightmare again, didn't you?

The Zorua nods, then moans as she droops her head out of the bag. She acted like a ragdoll.
