Watching Dahlia dance, Drifblim tilts itself a couple of times and prepares to charge some power, however suddenly Fantina waves a hand and instructs her Pokémon to hold it.

Fantina: "Attendons my little swaying partner, don't be rude to the girls, l'est provocant performance!" Moves closer to the edge of the contest arena. "La lutte se evoint, dear, with respect... Give it a touch..."

Drifblim hesitates then floats closer to Dahlia. At a short distance, Drifblim tosses the Ghost ball up to the air, then combines Defog and Swallow to start absorbing the ghost energy via a swirling wind current, creating an effect not unlike that of an accretion disk.

- Alastor is hovering near a flower in a vase, trying to change the colors of the petals from blue to pink -

Alastor: <Hmm...>

- The flower petals glow with an eerie purple glow for a moment, but when it clears, they are still blue -

Alastor: <... Guess this is what I get for not really having taken the time to practice mastering my ghost magic.>

Fantasy: <Maybe you should spend less time protesting those Spirit Games, and try focusing on practicing your ghost magic instead?>

Alastor: <Perhaps... It's not like I'll ever get anything out of my protesting anyways.> (sighs) <It's so pointless...>

Fantasy: <Oh! Sorry! Didn't mean to make you feel bad!>

Alastor: <Nah, it's okay...> (glances out the window) <Okay, what is up with this weather?>

Fantasy: <I don't know... According to the news on TV, the weather is being weird in other parts of Hoenn as well.>

- Gilgamesh wanders up to a conversing Susano, Tiamat, and Alduin. -

Gilgamesh: Could you tell me a story?

Susano: Sure!

- He pulls a huge box of manly dolls action figures out of nowhere; Alduin pulls out Bahamut. -

Bahamut: This is gonna be weird...

-15 minutes later -

Susano: And the Multiversal Awesome League, having saved the day yet again, decided to take a nice vacation at the beach. The end.

- Gilgamesh stares at them slack-jawed -

Tiamat: Congratulations. You've scarred the kid for life.

Gilgamesh: That was the most AWESOME STORY EVER!

Alduin: Yay!

Bahamut: I'm still confused about the part where I go figure-skating.

Dahlia: *watches Drifblim out of the corner of her eyes, wondering if she'd ever be able to learn a technique like that; continues to dance, the petals and leaves touching down on the ground*

Rex: *smiles in her direction, giving her an encouraging wave*

Fantina: "...And now for the finale, Drifblim!"

The ghost Pokémon finishes absorbing the energy from the Ghost Ball and then uses Explosion!!!, releasing blue-ish ghostly ashes everywhere. These start falling in an orderly pattern on the ground, forming a giant symbol shaped like a Pokéball and "engraved" with a brownish pattern like the [Hearthome Gym Badge].

Yomi: THAT WAS AMAZING!

Lina: Aww...

Chrome: <I'd say I told you so, but I'm not that mean. I feel sorry for her too.>

Herbert: Can we go eat now?

Ruth: I guess that's the end, then. *comes on stage and picks up Dahlia* Still, we did pretty well to make it this far, huh?

Dahlia: *hugs her neck gently* ^_^

Ruth: Hehe. *pats her head gently* You did a great job.

The audience stands up and gives both contestants an ovation. Granted, mostly for Fantina, but Ruth's effort was well-rewarded. After some moments of waiting for the audience to sit back, the three Judges publish the final scores.

Announcer: "And here we have ladies and gentlemen, let's welcome... our winner!"

Fantina salutes the audience, cheers for a moment and then salutes Ruth back as well for her performance. Drifblim, while apparently aggraviated by the score, also twirled her limbs in a greeting manner to Dahlia.

Fantina: "A most delicate effort, dear. You put up more charm next time, might reach high. Au revoir~"

-I and my team are watching various newsfeeds of incredibly uncharacteristic weather occurrences that have been plaguing Hoenn more and more frequently in recent days-
