Sunny: <I'm pretty good. I found two new couples!>

Icicle: -to Kensei- <Hi! Do you like snow? Do you want to join Team Glacier?>

Katie: -smiles back, looks around to see if anyone is watching them-

Kensei: <Oh? Who?> -Sunny's shipping tendencies are definitely rubbing off on him- <...Snow? It is fine, I suppose.>

Hoenn Safari Zone

-Accepts Fool's scratching behind the ears-

<Goon!Luxray: "Nngh!">

-Primarily on account of being too petrified to run away or otherwise attack-

-Hair standing on end-

<Goon!Luxray: "(*whimper*) Oh... Oh Arceus, pl-please don't hurt me...">

Icicle: <We're going to bring snow to everywhere so everyone can have fun playing in it!>

Kensei: <That is so sweet!> -smiles adorably...which is not something he's used to; looks to Sunny to see if they are joining Team Glacier-

Katie: -seeing that no one (except maybe Sunny) is watching, shyly presses her lips against Forte's, then immediately pulls away and blushes-

-is going into a (mostly deserted) store-

Umbra: Um... - Looks at Zweilous, then at Tracer. - What do I do?

Fortree Arena (Past)

Crewe notices that Wolf is departing the arena, and feels a bit troubled. Of course, that is perfectly sensible, considering how Skywalker's breakdown was all her fault.

Crewe: <Not helping! ...>

<...and I didn't mean for things to go like that. I just... what have I done...>

Crewe hesitates a moment, then jumps out of the stands to tail Wolf.

Crewe: <Wait, why would I- I can't just- he'd->

You need to do this. Stop brushing it under the rug.

Crewe: <...ok, then-...>

Crewe, changing to human form in the moonlight filtering through the rafters, hops down and lands in front of Wolf.

"Hi, Wolf," she says softly, face impassive. "Would you mind… sending out Skywalker? I need to talk to him."

Katie: -grinning like an idiot, her face the exact same shade of red as her hair-

Kensei: -isn't saying anything, not wanting to get into a family dispute-

Crewe? I...of...of course. -hugs Crewe tightly- I miss you. -releases Skywalker-

Wayward Cave: Hidden Entrance; Sinnoh (Future)

<Oh!> the Gible squeaked, finding herself sucked into the Dusk Ball. It squirmed thrice before an audible click resounded through the cave, Rex grinning in triumph. Shifting out of his battle stance, Nico retrieved the ball of his former foe, observing the Gible inside curiously before it disappeared in a burst of light.

<!> He looked at Rex sheepishly, scratching the back of his head with his tail. <Umm...I didn't do that.>

"Don't worry. That's supposed to happen," Rex smiled, lifting the tiny monkey and placing him back on his shoulder. "You did a great job in that battle there. I bet you'll do great at Hearthome's Gym."

Nico chittered happily, scurrying down Rex's back and scampering off to a nearby wall. Had Rex been paying closer attention, he'd have realized that the Aipom had stolen his goggles yet again. Instead, Rex seemed more interested in a Larvitar that was wandering about in front of him. "Hmmm... I bet Mezzo would like one of these," he murmured, looking around to see where his Pokemon had gotten off to. "Hey, Nico, could you give me a hand here? ... ... ...Nico?"

Abandoning the Larvitar for the moment, Rex went off in the direction he presumed Nico had followed. Fortunately, this side cave wasn't as A-MAZE-ing as the main one, so it wasn't too difficult to catch up to the little monkey. He found him perched on the ground next to a young girl with pink hair, a Kadabra watching Nico suspiciously. No doubt he'd tried to take its spoon already...

Upon noticing Rex, the little girl stood and turned to him, grinning widely and swinging her arms happily. "Hi! You must be this guy's trainer, right? I was wondering if I could ask you a favor~"

-Aside, a certain Luxray has become fairly overwhelmed by being petted by Fool... Being held back by fear of what would happen if he lashed out-

-Sounding rather unwell-

<Goon!Luxray: "Nngh... Oh Arceus, n-not like this...">

-And proceeds to pass out, with a damp region forming on the grass around him-

<Goon!Weavile: "Grr... Pathetic...">

Fortree Store

<Oh? What’s—Eep!> Skywalker, surprised to find himself out of his Pokeball, turns first to Wolf. Upon seeing his former Trainer, however, he takes several steps backwards, towards the wall, and draws in on himself.

Crewe stands a few feet away from him, biting her lip. She takes a step forward and extends her arm towards him, but he ducks away, wings coming up to half-cover his face. Crewe takes another step, her hand inches from his muzzle. When he doesn’t move, she softly lays her palm on his nose. Skywalker makes a soft whimpering sound, but otherwise remains still.

"Shh… Shh… It’s okay…" she murmurs, stroking his muzzle. Slowly, she lays her other hand on the side of his face. She pets him with both hands, wordlessly, moving from his nose to his forehead. She continues along his neck, the Salamence slowly relaxing, his wings retracting ever so slightly.

By the time Crewe reaches halfway down his neck, she’s crying. She stops abruptly and flings her arms around Skywalker, burying her face in his scales. The Salamence, alarmed, makes several soft crooning sounds. He slowly brings his head down over her back and rests his cheek between her shoulder blades. His wings extend again to cover both of them.

They stand like that for a few moments, until Crewe takes a step back, untangling herself from the Salamence. He looks at her with wide eyes, whimpering softly. She takes his head in her hands again, meeting his gaze, and trying to see straight through the tears welling up once more in her eyes.

"Oh, Skywalker..." she whispers hoarsely, "Why do I always hurt you?"

He whimpers again. Crewe leans so their foreheads meet, closing her eyes. Skywalker croons softly, nudging her.

"Why am I such a terrible Trainer?" she asks, not really expecting an answer. And she doesn’t get one. The two stand still for a few more moments, neither speaking or even moving. Once again, Crewe is the one to break contact, taking a step back and letting her hands fall to her sides.

"I’m sorry," she says, this time a little louder. Her voice rasps in her throat, but she’s able to keep it from breaking.

Skywalker takes a step forward and nuzzles her shoulder softly, then loops his neck around her and encircles her in his wings. She hugs him again, taking several deep breaths.

"You forgive me too easily," she says wryly. "You always have."

One final time, she steps away from him, but leaves a hand on his muzzle.

"I hope you’re happy with Wolf," she murmurs. "He’s a better Trainer than I can ever hope to be… You deserve each other."

Crewe turns and walks towards the window. Skywalker takes a half-step after her, whimpering. She glances back over her shoulder and smiles at him, then at Wolf.

"Thank you," she tells him. "For taking them in. And tell them I'm sorry, will you?"

-nods, wordlessly, biting back tears-

-Has managed to teleport back, still in Swampert form-
