Salamence: <Maybe the nurse did it!>

...Yeah, so that kid came and took his note book back...Apparently, Arceus was using the Starites to power his office...

-Hears Star-

What.

Felis: <The nurse did it? Really, are you trying to make yourself look this ridiculous?>

What?

Salamence: <Oh...well, maybe she can help us fix it! Because she has Aura power!>

You think she'll help us after you attacked her twice?

Salamence: <...Right.>

Butterscotch: <How would Aura help?>

- Hears Star -

...?

(thinking) Well... I guess stranger things have happened...

(to Butterscotch) Well, even if psychic ability can't help, maybe Aura could?

Salamence: <Hey, do you know where the shiny Altaria went?>

Well, it saves electricity at least...

-Arrives at the beach, sits on the sand-

#Woke up this morning on the beach...#

Butterscotch: <What shiny Altaria?>

Sunny: <Aura and psychic powers are different, aren't they? I know Aura works on me but psychic doesn't. Maybe you should give it a try.>

....Yeah, I'm not sure either.

Salamence: <There was a yellow Altaria! And he was nice and I miss him! >

Well, I can't really do Aura...and I think if I ask the nurse I'll just get a Force Palm to the head or something. And I really don't want to try Tagg...

-Butterscotch blinks-

Butterscotch: <You're too stupid to notice that was me?> -turns into a yellow Altaria-

Sunny: <Some Pokémon can use Aura too. Maybe there's a Lucario around?>

Salamence: <You're back!> -glomps-

Hmm, maybe. I know Luke has one, but I haven't seen him in a while...or Luke, for that matter. Same for Tracer.

Mandarin Island South, Forest

-Some Wurmple, Dustox, Caterpie, Butterfree and Pidgey are looking from the treetops-

-On the ground, Maekrite flinches, tries to move to the side, getting the horn that has just draw a scar along his muzzle, some blood dripping from it. Maekrite realizes, from the pain, that the scar runs a very short distance below his own eye-

-Tony tries to push forward, growling, but he can't. He's scored a hit, although the cost is too high. The intruder Nidorino's horn has turned inwards up to his head at the very last second, and now half of it lies beyond Tony's own ear-

Tony — <...Aaah!>

Maekrite -growls — <You got... lucky... ugh... runt...> — twitches, tries to move.

Tony — <I'm not giving you a next time... ouch... you go down now!>

-Pumped by adrenaline and a call from the Nidorina that for the moment none of the two fighters care to parse, Tony manages to push just enough onwards that he can break Maekrite's balance and toss him around, to then retreat-

Maekrite — <...Whaaaaaaaaa~> — hits a nearby tree.

-Maekrite is surprised by being tossed away with such force, and just stares at nothing blankly for a second. Meanwhile, Tony manages to stand up, he shakes his head to try and mitigate the pain-

Tony -looks around, seeing nothing, then looks up- — <...Princess?>

-Tony turns around and tries to check the surroundings, only to be Tackled by Maekrite and sent rolling on the ground-

-The Nidorina above watches cautiously as Tony struggles to stand up, while the other Nidorino stands still. Despite the excitement of seeing them struggling for her, she was not liking the situation anymore. For one, letting him battle a monster that was there likely to try to offer Tony as a sacrifice didn't bode well with her plans of breeding with him-

-Suddenly, and to the horror of both Tony and Maria, Maekrite assumes battle position, charges power on the tip of his horn, and shoots a Thunderbolt that hits Tony on a hindleg before the Nidorino can evade properly-

Tony — <...Aaaargh!!!> — looks back at Maekrite — <No! This can't...>

-Maekrite moves closer and tries to take aim, prompting Tony to run and try to hidebehind a tree.-

Maekrite — <Now you are going to see a Nidorino properly trained!>

-Maekrite shoots a second Thunderbolt that scorches the bark, then chases after Tony to try and reach him before the local Nido reaches higher, safer ground-

-Inside the house, the two youngsters there hear some crackling sounds but can't exactly make what is going on-

Maria -swings paw from the ledge — <Run, Tony! Run!>

-Tony makes a sharp turn just in time to avoid a third Thunderbolt, and covering himself with the thickets rushes to a safer place from which to attempt to ram the other Nidorino. Maekrite just follows, threateningly growling and charging more power-

Sunny: <Hmm...Luke and Tracer haven't been around? Oh! Maybe they're on a date!>

Felis: -facepaw-

Butterscotch: -facewing-

...I can honestly say that I would be surprised if that were the case.

Anyway, we still need to figure out how to wake up Mezzo.

Salamence: <Maybe you could go into the Dream World and fight a representation of her sleepiness!>

...What?

Salamence: <No? Oh well...>

Butterscotch: <So, um...

This might be my fault... I was playing around with her the other day and I hit her with some Obscura and it made her really sleepy...>

Felis: <Oh joy. Tell me again, why should we keep you around?>

Butterscotch: <Hey! I didn't know she'd be that weak!>

-Is still watching the ocean, the song from before long since descended into a bunch of random, hummed notes-
