-the Typhlosion evidentally made a shopping trip during its time in the Islands, as it proceeds to dodge a Shadow Ball from Breeze and retaliate with one of its own, knocking the Chimecho out-

-ball shakes in response-

Good enough. Let's go! -sends out the Sneasel, who strikes an epic pose and prepares for battle-

Mandarin South Desert

-After some more chitchat, Dintel says oh bye \\o o o/ to the other Sandshrew and returns to us-

— Had fun?

Dintel — <Yeah, they are very nice!> — yawns, climbs to my head — <I'm sleepy.>

— Well, there's a town some distance from here. We'll head in that direction. All of you, return.

-I start recalling my mons, but Ichtacya scratches my leg-

Ichtacya — <Can I walk along? I'm your walk-along, right? :3>

— ...Is your leg healed already?

-Ichtacya mumbles something, then walks around me in a circle-

Ichtacya — <I'm fine...> — tilts head — <I promise I'll complain if I have pain...>

-I decide to let her be and we head to the east-

-to pentigan- ...When did you get that? -points at Piradex-

Ori found it, there was quite a few of them. The key was inside a gym sign.

-While the Typhlosion is setting up with a Miracle Eye, Jab runs forward and punches it with an Obscura-coated fist, before disappearing into the rain-

Typhlosion: <Son of a— you can't hide forever, you know!> -begins scanning for Jab-

Jab: <Don't need to!> -runs out of nowhere again, hits with another Faint Attack, and disappears-

Typhlosion: <Stop that!> -fires a Psychic after Jab, but the Sneasel has already vanished-

Jab: <Not likely!> -throws an Ice Shard at the Typhlosion from the roof of a building, before scampering down the side to dodge another Psychic, hitting the Typhlosion with a another Faint Attack, and zooming off again-

...Oh.

..Should we start looking for Luke and the others now?

Sure.

-starts walking-

-Jab and the Typhlosion are still playing cat-and-mouse, or in this case weasel-and-smaller weasel-

Typhlosion: <Come out, kit! I promise I'll make it easy!>

Jab: <Okay!> -pops out of a storm drain (the structure, not the ability), and runs in to Faint Attack-

-and is promptly knocked to the ground by an Extrasensory-

Typhlosion: <I'm going to enjoy this...> -raises a claw-

-which is promptly caught by four purple rudders. The Typhlosion looks up, and sees a large, pink balloon, with an expression of serenity on her face-

Fade: <...U mad?>

Typhlosion: <Oh, fu—>

-is blasted the length of the island by a maxed-out Spit Up assisted by Calm Mind Spam-

Jab and Every: ...O_o

-A few seconds later, Lugia emerges from the water again, visably damaged...but also with a fully charged Aeroblast ready to fire straight at all of us.-

Lugia: DIE!!!

-But right before he fires the attack, he feels a set of sharp fangs sink into his neck-.

Lugia: RAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!

Woolly: <Huh?!>

Harriet: <Who did that?>

Treeo: <...! Oh! Isn't it obvious?>

-Treeo points to Lugia's neck as he thrashes about wildly, trying to dislodge the hanger on, who just so happens to be a certain Feraligatr.-

Lake: <MMMMMMMMMPPPPPPPPPHHHHH!!!> *

Harriet: <Is that Lake?!>

Jello: <I was wondering where he went...>

Treeo: <See? Lake has the right idea! Now if you'll excuse me...>

-Treeo uses Agility to boost his speed, then leaps off the shrine, soars through the air, and lands on Lugia's back.-

Treeo: -Prepares a Leaf Blade.- <NOW WE'RE TALKING!> -Slashes Lugia's back.-

Woolly: <What should we do?>

Harriet: <You and Jello say here! The rest of us will be able to deal with him better this way! Just...Be careful with those electric attacks, okay?>

Woolly: -Nods.- <Right!>

-Harriet flies off towards Lugia, firing another Dark Pulse at him.-

Harriet: <Darn it! I know you're supposed to be a God, but surely you should be down already?!>

Fire Island

Thorn: <What the-?> -Is struck by the Mist Ball.- <ARGH! HAX!!!>

Holly: -Recoils from the ice Attacks.- <How could you forget about Storm Drain?!>

Hydron: <I'm sorry, but not all of us are from Sinnoh!> -Narrows his eyes.- <Time for a different approach.>

-Hydron tucks himself into his shell.-

Hydron: <THORN! Time for another combo!>

Thorn: <Got it!>

-Thorn wraps his vines around Hydron's shell, picks him up, and, with great effort, manages to swing him around and throw him at DS' team!-

Hydron: <INCOMING!>

Holly: -Blinks.- <Darn, these guys are good.>

-Holly turns her attention to Latias, and deciding that she's a priority target, blasts her with a Dragon Pulse attack.-

Nearby...

-Ferno is still carrying Pleo towards the sight of our battle, the young Lugia looking visibly distressed by everything that's happening.-

Ferno: <Ah-ha-ha! It won't be long until my plan is complete! Soon, I shall have Lugia's power, and the world will be mine!>

Pleo: <My Dad would never listen to you...You...You Jerk!>

Ferno: <Really? "You Jerk?" That's the best you can come up with?>

Pleo: <You're right! You're worse than a jerk! You're a POOPHEAD!>

Ferno: -Growls.- <NOBODY CALLS ME A POOPHEAD! You should be glad that I need you to complete our plan! Otherwise I would burn you alive!>

-Pleo shivers in fright, but then suddenlly comes up with a plan. It was crazy, and if he did it wrong, he could very well die...but it was worth a shot. Anything was worth a try if it meant saving his friends right then.-

Pleo: <I hope this works...>

-Pleo opens his mouth...then bites Ferno's hand hard.-

Fenro: <AAAAAAAARRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!>

-Ferno lets go of Pleo, to suck on his bitten hand, dropping him in the process.-

Pleo: <WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!>

Ferno: <...Oops...>

-Chloro and Magellan are still fighting-

Chloro:<Why are you with that human anyway?> -fires off a flurry of Razor Leaves-

Magellan:-Dodges some of the leaves, and uses Future Sight- <He's my trainer.>

Chloro:<You have a trainer? He doesn't hate you for being Delta?> -Uses Magical leaf-

Magellan:<Argh! -Slashes her with Dragon Claw- No, he doesn't! He believes that all Pokemon are equal, no matter what they are!>

Chloro:<AHH! Does he really believe in that? Does he really feel that way deep down? -flies up and dives at Magellan, covering herself with Leaf Storm-

Magellan:<I don't know. -slams Chloro down to the ground with Psychic- But I know he won't abandon me, or send me off to have tests run on me. He's the only person who treats me like all the other Pokemon.

-Chloro gets up-

And I'm sure there's other people like him too.>

Chloro:<Yes, there's 3 out of 1000 people who actually care about us. -She grabs Magellan, and pins him to a cliff-

But Ferno will make the whole world treat us like that.>

-She starts to form a glowing ball of energy above her-

Magellan:<Do you really think that's his intentions? Why go through all that trouble to kidnap a Lugia just to get equallity. If anything, all it does is make others fear Deltas. There are others from Ferno's allies that have left him because of his means. Is fear the same as love to you?>

-Chloro's Draco Meteor starts to fade-

Chloro:<No, it isn't. -she puts Magellan down-

I don't know what I was thinking. I was too focused on trying to make things better for Deltas that I didn't see what was really happening.>

Magellan:<It's okay. I forgive you.>

Chloro:<Really? Even after what happened on Holon?>

Magellan:<Yes.>

-Chloro rushes into Magellan's arms, and hugs him tightly-

Chloro:<I love you>

Magellan:<I love you too.>

-Magellan and Chloro continue hugging-

Tulip: <Ah!> (hides behind Odette)

Mira: <Ribbons, Silvermist!>

Ribbons: (nods) <It's worth a shot...>

Silvermist: <Okay.>

- Mira fires an Aura Sphere at Hydron, at the same time as Ribbons blasts him with Psychic and Silvermist hits him with Surf, in hopes of knocking him off course -

Artemis: (jumps up from behind Thorn) <Sneak attack!> (hits Thorn with Aerial Ace)

Latias: (hit with Dragon Pulse) <Ow... If you wanted us legendaries to help, why not just ask us instead of all this?> (pouts, then fires another Mist Ball, Holly being the target this time)

-interrupted by something landing on his back, four sharp legs digging into his shoulders and sides-

Delta!Ariados: <I sssuggesst you not move, Ghossst...or your Trainer will have a lot more in common with you than you'd like.>

Fade: <Wouldn't mind. More interesting probably.>

Rex: *deposits Yuki in the PC (due to having too many mons out) and meets up with Rascal and Spathi; wanders through the Pokemon Center with his mons* I hope we make it in time. *heads out the sliding doors*

Rex and his team head outside in the direction of Fire Island. However, before they can get far, a bolt of lightning splits the ground in front of them.

Rex: Whoa! *stops just short of getting zapped*

From the sky, a pair of Pokemon float down: a Magmortar and a Skarmory holding onto its shoulders.

Skarmory: <We can't have you interfering with master Ferno's plans. This is our only chance to get our lives back.>

Magmortar: <So, if you want to remain in one piece, you'd better turn back.    Now.   >

The Skarmory's wings spark with electricity, crackling in the rain as it holds the Magmortar aloft. Wispy streams of frost likewise leak from the Magmortar's cannon arms.

Rex: ...Ohm, if you would. *holds out his wrist*

Ohm: *fiddles with the radio before selecting an appropriate song*

Rex: *thinking* I love this song. *out loud* Alright...let's go!

What the hell are we, chopped liver?

Draca: <It feels like we've just been standing here the whole time blocking for the most part.>

Muddy: <Well, time for me to rectify that guys.>

-Flies into the air with Waterfall before Ice Punching Lugia in the face-

-Every is still being held hostage by the Ariados-

Ariados: <Well? Are you going to recall yourself or not?>

Fade: <Human and ghost live longer than Ariados. Can wait as long as necessary.>

Ariados: <...Do I need to bite him to convince you?>

-Fade shrugs-

Ariados: <Very well.> -spreads fangs wide, Every pales-

Fade: <...>

Ariados: <...Going to recall yourself?>

Fade: <No.>

Ariados: <I'll bite him! I really will!> -clicks fangs-

Fade: -would raise an eyebrow if she had eyebrows-

-Fool is flying around Shamouti Island on Kaepora. Eating Popcorn-

Whoo whee! Look at them scramble! One dealing with Deltas another dealing with an angry god-

Maren: <Would mind if I had some popcorn?>

Sure Maren.

-Maren takes some Popcorn-

Maren: <Don't meen to be rude. But shouldn't you be, yannow, helping?>

-Beat-

A little while later okay?

Maren: <Kay>

Delta!Magmortar: <This island will be your tomb!> *launches a spray of fireballs at the group*

Minty: *puts up a hasty Protect barrier in front of Rex*

Rex: *picks him up and runs for Spathi* Lian, Ohm, strafe! Rascal, cover fire!

Rascal: *grins* <Fire's what I do best.> *inhales a deep breath and launches a flamethrower at the Skarmory*

Delta!Skarmory: shrieks and dodges to the right* <You little...!> *rains several electrified sword-feathers down on the group*

Ohm: *bleats and launches at Signal Beam at the feathers near her*

Lian: *winces as one slices into her arm, but knocks the rest away with Reversal*

-The situation is exactly the same as it was, only the Ariados is looking exceptionally nervous-

Ariados: <Look, I don't want to do this, but I will! Just recall yourself!>

Fade: <No.>

Ariados: <...>

<...>

-sighs, and starts to climb down, Fade radiates an aura of smugness-

Shamouti Shrine

Lugia: AAAAHHHHH! YOU!!!

-Lugia grabs Muddy with Psychic, then tosses him back at Tagg and his Pokémon.-

Lugia: GET OFF OF ME!

-Lugia flies up, then spins wildy in mid-air. Unable to hang on, Lake and Treeo fly off in opposite directions.-

Lake: <WAAAAAHHHHH!!!>

Treeo: <AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!>

Harriet: <TREEO!>

-Harriet flies after the Sceptile, managing to grab him with her talons right before he hits the water.-

Treeo: <Oh! Hey! I can swim, you know.>

Harriet: <That's it? No "Thanks for rescuing me?"> -Rolls her yes.- <You're so ungrateful sometimes...>

-Lake meanwhile, hits the water, diving under, but soon resurfacing near the shrine.-

Woolly: <Lake!>

Jello: <Are you alright?>

Lake: -Nods.- <Surely you know it would take more than just being knocked into the ocean to stop me?>

-The threat of my Pokémon dealt with, Lugia turns his attention to Tagg and his Pokémon.-

Lugia: WHAT A SHAME THAT YOU WERE SO EAGER TO FIGHT ME, TAGG! EVEN IN MY RAMPAGE, I WOULD HAVE KNOW TO SPARE A SOUL OF SILVER SUCH AS YOURSELF -Glances at Muddy.- AND YOU...MY CHOSEN POKÉMON. MAYBE IF PLEO HAD BEEN LEFT WITH INSTEAD OF THAT PATHETIC FERALIGATR THAT HO-OH WAS FOOLISH ENOUGH TO CHOOSE AS HIS HERO, THIS NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPENED! BUT NO, IT WAS NOT TO BE...

-Lugia reaches down with his feet, grabs Crochet, then flies up and drops her from a great height.-

Lugia: NOW THAT SHE'S DEALT WITH, I CAN AT LEAST AFFORD YOU THE LUXURY OF A RELATIVITY PAINLESS DESTRUCTION!

-From behind one of the shrine's structures, the Slowking watches in horror as Lugia uses Sky Drop on Crochet.-

Slowking: NOOOO!!! -Sniffs.- She was going to make me a vest...

Fire Island

-The combing force of the attacks manages to knock Hydron off course...and right towards the edge of the Volcano's crater.-

Hydron: <WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!>

Thorn: <HYDRON!>

-Ignoring DS and her Pokémon, Thorn whips his vines out and wraps them around the Blastoise's shell, the Venusaur digging his heels into the ground and pulling with all his might to stop the Delta Pokémon from going over the edge.

Fortunatly for the both of them, Hydron is stopped at the very lip of the Crater, mere inches from falling over the edge to a fiery fate.-

Hydron: <...Phew!>

Thorn: -Pants.- <That was close...way too close...>

-Holly, meanwhile, takes the hit from the Mistball.-

Holly: <Argh! Don't you think we tried asking? You Legendaries are really hard to find!>

-The Garchomp jets as Latias, then rakes her with a Dragon Claw attack.-

Shamouti Airspace

-For the second time that week, Pleo found himself falling towards a raging sea. But this time, there was no Stratus to save him. And the Charizard that had been trying to kidnap him all this time was right above him.

Things were looking rather grim for the young Lugia at this point.-

Pleo: <AAAAHHHH! I'm gonna' die! I'm gonna' die! I'm gonna die! But, wait...If I die, Dad will get mad well, madder than he is now and destroy the Orange Islands! And maybe even the whole world!

I can't let that happen! I have to live! I have to save my friends! I have to save...DAD!>

-Determined not to die, Pleo begins to flap his wings, just as Harriet instructed in all their flying lessons. Keep clam, up and down...up and down...

To his surprise, Pleo felt himself gaining lift. It was working!

Pleo kept flapping, up and down, up and down, slowly lifting himself higher and higher until...

...He wasn't falling anymore.

He was flying!-

Pleo: <Oh! I did it! I DID IT! I'M FLY-EEK!>

-The Lugia's celebration was cut short as plume of fire narrowly missed him. Even without seeing the source of the attack, Pleo knew just who had fired it.-

Ferno: <YOU LITTLE BRAT! GET BACK HERE!>

-Pleo turns around, sees the angry Charizard with a sore hand flying straight towards him, then turns around and flies for his life, Ferno in hot pursuit. No pun intended.-

-Fool is balencing himself on Kaepora's neck. Frying pan in his right hand-

Kaepora! Get as close to the Charizard as you can!

Kaepora: <On my way~>

-Kaepora lines himself to Ferno's left-

OI, SCHEIßEKOPF!

- Seeing Hydron almost fall in -

Oops, sorry about that! Are you okay?

Odette: <Hey, Silvermist! Do your kawaii desu thing!>

Silvermist: <Huh? Oh, I get it...> (uses Attract)

Tulip: <When did Odette even see Silvermist use Attract, yes? I don't recall, yes...>

(to Tulip) Assume it happened off-screen, sweetie.

Latias: (hit with Dragon Claw) <Owie...> (uses Recover to heal herself) <Well, we're here now... Why don't you try asking now?>

- The legendary birds have been watching the battle -

Zapdos: <You're right, Moltres. This trainer is pretty good.>

Moltres: <She sure is, isn't she?>

Articuno: (giggles) <And she has some adorable Pokémon with her! Look at that little blue bird and the green leafy thing!>

-Is still following Star, a bit bored-

-the Ariados, Every, and Fade are at opposite ends of a triangle, Fade the only one unshaken-

Ariados: <I never wanted to kill anyone... I just wanted Deltas to have a better place in the world...> -shifts around nervously-

-Fade nods-

Ariados: <...I guess I'll be leaving now, when your Trainer wakes up, can you apologize for me?>

-Fade shrugs-

-the Ariados decides to cut its losses and makes a break for it-
