-He looks over at Rose and promptly yelps, which might get her attention-

-Behind her sunglasses (which, yes, are on even inside), her expression goes on a face journey that eventually lands on a big grin.-

Rose: ...Well! Look what the cat dragged in!

-She puts down her Switch and stands up, her grin not faltering in the slightest.-

Rose: Odin, buddy, pal, how've you been? It's been, what, eight years? I could've sworn you were dead, but it looks like you've gone and... what, cloned yourself? Guess we've all been there at some point. And you're here on the J-Team's airship, too!

-Odin is really wishing he could still get away with melting into a pile of sand and fleeing at this point-

Odin: Ehehe yeah, funny how life works out... Or, unlife, or - You get what I mean.

Odin: The one we kicked her upstairs to. -sighs- Owen, this is Paula. Paula this is my son Owen. By son I mean a Porygon-powered cyborg I brain uploaded myself into.

(Kim looks a bit stunned for a few moments at Kec's decision, but ultimately nods, realizing that this is what he has to do. She then notices Evelyn handing Kec's PokeBall over to Hoops.)

Kim: "...That certainly seems like an excellent idea. Thank you, Evelyn."

Scarlette: Heh. Glad to be that first, then.

Mason: Right, yeah, tea sounds good. Lemme just...

-He ponders for a bit, and both his and Percy's perception flickers for a moment; as the brief second of disorientation fade, they each have different faces and different outfits. Mason in particular suddenly has a short ponytail of brown hair, and a green shirt and plain faded jeans.-

-For Percy, the most pressing changes are a full, non-skeletal face and hand, and a pair of glasses to help with the Clark Kenting. The rest, though? We'll leave that up to her own author.-

-Mason holds up an illusory mirror to show Percy her new look.-

Mason: That good?

-Rose puts a hand to her chest in mock drama.-

Rose: Oh, and dear old Odin's a parent, too! To a beautiful baby coding duck. Truly, the years do change us all.

-She smirks.-

Rose: Anyway, it's Rose now. I like to think it's a less punchable name. But you've got it right on the money otherwise. So! What brings such an infamous evil scientist and his Mini-Me to the J-Team's doorstep? Redemption? A new leaf? Or, perhaps, is it espionage? You were quite the crook back in the day, after all. Ooh, are the others coming? C'mon, it could be a real nice reunion party. You, me, Tokarev, Alexiel, Si— oops, maybe not her. But the rest of us! All being chums right under the J-Team's noses like the good old days.

Odin: Well I'm under permanent employment to Yveltal...

Owen: I quit my job at the evil berry company, so now I'm trying to find my girlfriend.

Odin: I, uh, dunno if I have the connections to organize a reunion. I have to get all sandy around certain people in the J-Team as is.

-She smirks.-

Rose: But maybe a Cipher reunion wouldn't work, then. But! I'm sure the team will be happy to hear you're around! Just absolutely thrilled. Should I tell Diane? You remember Diane, don't you? And Lucius, too. Oh, man, getting to see a family friend after so long. Poor guy's had it rough since his old man bit the dust. I think a familiar face is exactly what he needs!

-She pulls out her phone — she doesn't actually text anything, but it's absolutely intended to convey the threat thereof.-

Rose: "Hey, J-Team! You'll never guess who I found! It's Odin! You know, the Cipher R&D head? He's a good guy now, just like me! Don't worry, the god of death said so." How's that sound, eh, Maxxy-boy?

Daydre beats back the urge to touch the brass piece and flow their aura into it too.

If one person's not enough, two probably wouldn't make a difference right?.. I really want to touch it though.

(Looking at Megan's wrist) "I support your desire to see what will happen but make sure you don't strain yourself okay"

"... Hm. If they're all over the place could they just.. draw it off people in the city? Take a little from a lot of people, get a lot without really hurting anyone..? I don't want to think about the results of someone abusing a system like that."

They listen to Megan's rambling intently, nodding occasionally just to show they're still listening. They're about to nod again when Megan compliments them, and it takes a second for the meaning of the words to actually dawn on them.

(Flushed, staring slightly at Megan's teeth) "o h."

They clear their throat.

"You look good too. I'm happy if you are."

-Owen starts giggling-

-Percy looks not much different, except for the fact that she is no longer half-dead-

-aside from having the rest of her skin, her hair is black again, the intense premature lines around her (now brown) eyes are gone, and her slightly gaunt look is absent. She's wearing a sundress and sunhat instead of her half-dozen layers-

-she looks like she might if she weren't a Schoolkid and had never heard the name Adelinde, in point of fact-

Percy: ...

-she touches her face, fingers passing through where her eye isn't-

I, yeah. Good. Gods, you're powerful.

-she flicks a finger at the mirror, popping it with an electric spark-

-She smirks, turning her attention to Owen.-

Rose: Anyway, I'm glad to hear some people stayed evil for so long. But you've had a change of heart, eh? Lost your taste for it? Just like that. And now you're looking for Alonya! I can only assume, to boldly announce that you'll be better now, that you'll never hurt anyone again.

You smile and start unpacking your own camping gear. It's not quite as mountain-specific but camping out in Galar was one of your big goals when you picked this region to travel to.

After all, she's got shadowporting and it's probably best if not every member of the party obviously disembarks from the same submersible. Yeah no instead she's currently doing some submersible activities of her own in a far less impressive vehicle: One shaped like a Magikarp-

-Ian and Evelyn finish their dance, touching down on the other side of the floor. The pit traps on the ice floor reveal themselves as the second part of Ian and Evelyn's puzzle is complete.-

-Ian, Evelyn and Piku-chan continue into the next part of the puzzle room, where the floor is half-ice and half-stone, but that's not the only thing going for them. A blizzard and a sandstorm rage on over each half of the floor, mixing in the middle and reducing visibility to zero.-

-she stirs her coffee, takes a sip of Gatrade, makes a face and drowns it in espresso-

...I don't have a ton of good news, sorry. Nickel, Rubidium, and Uranium are dead. Adelinde claimed she killed Cadmium too. I didn't find the body, but it's hard to tell if that meant anything with him. Helium might be out there but I haven't seen her if she is.

Doing okay for myself lately, though. Not sure what I'm gonna do now, but...hopefully a problem for a future me. What've you been up to?

-Scarlette's taken a seat specifically pointed so she can easily see the doorway. Gus is at the foot of the table, watching the other way. With them as security, Mason's simply taken a seat across from Percy, whatever direction that entails.-

Mason: ...Well, I've been up to the League. Or, well, trying to. After spending most of my life at home in Snowpoint, I really can't stand the spotlight like that. And I'm kind of regretting it now, considering...

-He pensively takes a sip of his own coffee.-

Mason: ...Only reason I left Snowpoint was because I caught wind that Alonya was wrapped up in some stuff. She's not anymore. But, uh, now I'm with the J-Team, and we've got the School at our doorstep now.

...A few people on the team have supposedly met a couple of our other classmates. Mercury's out there somewhere, doing well for himself. Arsenic... well, you know how the freaky bird guy was. He didn't get any less creepy, apparently. But... he made it out, at least.

-He taps his fingers on the table for a moment.-

Mason: ...I... met a guy, called Hiro, a while back. Real bright fire Obscura, Reshiram's flames of truth, et cetera. Kind of tried to kill me by association with the School, because they snagged his bloodline's genes. I guess he means well, but he has a real funny way of showing it.

...Well, that's...five of us, at least. Probably more we don't know about. (a little more cheerfully) I liked Phoenix, even if he was a nutjob. And that's more people than I expected to ever see again.

And...hey, it's been a few weeks now, right? And that stupid yellow dirigible hasn't been blown to scrap by Cassidy or anything. Maybe it really is safe.

-she scowls-

Glad you're alright. I guess it's worth remembering we're not their only victims. But maybe I punch him for you if I ever run into him, yeah?

Chiyo: -Arms crossed in her chair as she stares into her untouched cup of tea- Since I met Tagg again the School's gotten more active, I haven't seen them yet, but I feel it.

Dactyl: <Well we have been running from them for the past 20 years or so, though they don't really send people after us directly that often anymore.>

Chiyo: -Standing up, a determined look in her purple eyes- And we'll keep running, until they're gone, or we are. Chances are it'll be us first, but we haven't survived this long by just accepting the inevitable, and we're not gonna let them destroy the lives we've tried to make.

Dactyl: <And when they come, I'll be your sword.>

Chiyo: -Forming a small barrier in her hand, noticeably rainbow in color, but not in the same way the Auras of freshly fed Aura Vampires tend to be- And I'll be your shield.

-Beat-

But first, this tea.

-She then forms a barrier around it and focuses, the tea bubbling before it gets warm again-

Took me forever to figure out just the right amount to make sure it warmed but that I didn't mess with the taste too much.
