-Ian looks almost sadly at Kim, before turning to face Evelyn and snapping his fingers.-

Evelyn: -jolts awake- Huh, what happened?

Me: Well, Evelyn. I talked to Colton about what happened, and... well...

-Beat-

Kim: "Well...?"

Turffield, AFD

Evelyn: Well? Lay it on me. I can take it.

Me: Truth is... Futari wa jikan o akete da yo...^Translation We two should spend some time apart...

Kim: (to herself) "Futari wa... jikan... ake-" (realizes what he's saying) "Oh."

Me: It won't be forever, Evelyn... Just... for a few days... It's for your own good.

-Evelyn gasps silently-

Me: I talked to Colton and he said that the best thing for you would be if Kim and I left you alone for a few days, so the post-hypnotic triggers I left on you would dispel by themselves and you'd be back to your witchy self. I couldn't bring myself to tell you this at first, because... well...

-Evelyn struggles to keep from changing into Colton!Evelyn and Kim!Evelyn-

Evelyn: I know, Ian...

-Evelyn places her hand to Ian's cheek.-

Me: -blushing slightly- Huh?

Evelyn: I know you're doing this to protect me, and I understand why. I mean, I like hanging out with you and Kim.

Kim: "As do I."

Evelyn: Since I know we'll meet again someday, I won't say goodbye. And who knows? Maybe we'll meet the same way we met the first time...

Me: Oh, oh. Evelyn. There's something I have to give you before we part ways for now...

-Ian searches his backpack's Key Item section for a moment.-

Kim: "Oh? What is-"

Ozzy: (in the distance) <HAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLT—! Kimberly!>

(Kim suddenly turns to find Ozzy flying towards her.)

Kim: "Ozzy...?"

Ozzy: <I found Dio...!>

Kim: "What?!"

Turffield, AFD

Evelyn and I: What?! You found Dio?!

Turffield, AFD

(Ozzy lands.)

Ozzy: <Yes. I have located Dio.>

Kim: "Where is he?"

Ozzy: <Sitting alone on a field listening to something that you've probably never heard of before. Based on what he was screaming out I assume it's metal... I am certain I heard him say "I'd rather die than give you control.">

Kim: (realizing) "Nine Inch Nails; I'm familiar. He must still be under hypnosis... did you approach him?"

Ozzy: <I did... and he shot me a look that said "I need some time alone to listen to my music; please get away from me.">

Kim: "Yep. Rever."

Turffield, AFD

Me: Taihenda!

Evelyn: You got that right!

Me: Can you lead us to him?

Turffield, AFD

Ozzy: <I certainly can.> (He flies off.) <Follow me.>

(With that, Kim follows Ozzy.)

Me: How about it, Evelyn? One more adventure before we part ways for now?

Evelyn: Always!

-Ian and Evelyn follow Kim and Ozzy to where Dio was found.-

(Some time later, Ozzy stops in the middle of a field— and sure enough, there's Dio, with Kim's phone, listening to what is assumed to be "Head Like a Hole." Kim looks over at Ozzy, then over at Ian.)

Kim: "There he is... any ideas as to what we should do?"

Turffield, AFD

Me: Well... We can't unhypnotize him if we don't get closer...

Turffield, AFD

Kim: "True."

(She approaches Dio and takes the headphones out of his ears. In response, Dio turns around— and the second he sees Kim, he shoots her a glare.)

Kim: (as deadpan as anything) "Definitely Rever."

Dio: <...why are you here?>

Kim: (smirks) "To unhypnotize you."

(Beat. Dio's glare fades.)

Dio: <...after only a few minutes? Well, that was quick.>

Pentigan: -get Shift in... Here...

-For a moment, Pent is still in his civvie wear before snapping into his Phantom Thief garb-

Anthem: <Huh, I like it. Makes sense that a computer's mental space would look like a gaming PC hellscape.>

Rakash: Alright guys I'm just gonna duck out, wake Shift up and send him in if that's okay? I'm not really in the best state for a fight and all.
