-When Tagg finds Echo, she's in her room, frantically digging through various drawers. Going through more than one drawer to find something is, in and of itself, rather uncharacteristic and demonstrative of the panic she's in.-

-But nonetheless, she does manage to pull out what appears to be a radio-like device of some sort, and a small microphone hooked up so as to create a feedback loop. She turns it on, creating a piercing feedback tone that she quickly adjusts the volume on, followed by adjusting the pitch to a particular tone.-

-It's painful to hear, but more importantly, it muddles all traces of Aura in the room. It's imperfect, it's disorienting, but it seems to have the intended effect of acting as a substitute for a specialized Aura Jammer.-

-Echo breathes heavily, staring at the makeshift Jammer as if expecting it to burst into flame on the spot-

-The door creaks open, and there's Rose.-

-She appears to be looking noticeably more healthy than she had been before. Her hair looks cleaner, not only in the sense of showering more regularly, but also like she recently got all the split ends trimmed off. The bags under her eyes are a lot less severe, whether it be due to actually physical recovery or simply concealed with makeup (which itself is a noteworthy change, since she never had the spoons to bother with it before). She even looks like she's standing a little taller, without the tired slouch and trudging movements.-

-She sees Lucius in the doorway, pauses, and nods.-

Rose: C'mon in. Scar's already here.

Stormchaser — Conversely, the Echopoint

-As soon as Echo hears Tagg's voice, she straightens up and clears her throat.-

Echo: I'm fine. I simply need to make repairs.

-There's an edge to her tone that implies, along with the entire rest of the situation, that she's emphatically not.-

Stylus looks over to /Duck/ on the screen, <Go get the others, I get the feeling we're going topside pretty soon.>

"Our scouts saw a Dark One on the surface," Miller said, pinching the bridge of his nose, "If one even got away-"

<This is a blessing Colonel. We can make peace with the Dark Ones,> Khan said, certainty in his voice.

"Khan, shut up. Oh der'mo, we need to handle them. Anna, I want you topside with Vasily, You two are to take the shot."

Anna saluted, "Yes sir," she said, stepping out.

<You can't do this! We need to fix our mistakes!> Khan began, only to get interrupted.

"I told you to be quiet, Khan... Unless you have something useful to add."

Stylus quirked a brow at Khan as he dug for answers.

<Artyom! Artyom can speak with the Dark Ones, he is unaffected by their telepathy remember? They seem drawn to him!>

Artyom suddenly looked very worried, Miller stroked his beard in thought, "Right. Artyom, grab some gear, take your new team and meet Anna at the Metro-2 line, you're being sent to the garden."

Artyom just silently nodded and walked off, Stylus and Ribbon blinked, Ribbon then saying, <Get the others and meet us at the armory please,> to /Duck/ before darting off.

Stormchaser - The Rosepoint

-Lucius nods at Rose as the door opens, his eyes apparently making every effort possible to avoid hers.-

Lucius: ...Okay. By the way, you, uh... you're looking good. Hair's very... red.

-He sort of awkwardly sidesteps into the room, holding up a carrier bag.-

Lucius: I, um, I brought some drinks. Might help make this whole process easier.

-the roiling bubble grows a face, translucent-

-and sticks out her tongue, stuck to which is an entirely inactive phone-

(-also accompanied by the release of whatever force is associated with what's likely to be the collapse of a tiny demiplane, but Vee dominates the scene, as she does-)

-reattaching her head to the base of her tail- <Hol' on…>

-and she spits the phone into Megan's waiting hand-
