"You think they wanted to invoke and capture her?" Julius asked. "That would be rather daunting a task, given her power as a Mythical. But let's say, for the sake of argument, they want her under their control.

"What's next?"

Me: Not entirely, but then again, why wouldn't it be her? She's a Mythical Pokémon! She arranged this whole event so everyone can form a band, rock out and be happy! Someone sabotaged three of the bands that Meloetta herself had chosen, and might try to sabotage all the other bands... Hecate's Harbingers, Shadow Cast, Sugar and Spice... even us! Once all of us are out of the running, Meloetta will completely lose heart! In that vulnerable a state, she'd do anything the saboteurs would tell her to do...

-Ian's voice then fills with unparalleled fear...- It could be the perfect crime...

-The fear then turns into confusion- Wait, how did you know I was gonna say that?

"Hey, if some power-hungry weirdo has access to a Mythical, the first thing they'd do is try to capture it. Failing the power-hungry, they'd probably still want to capture it. I know I was guilty of that when I first saw Cobalion. Then we looked into each other's eyes and I panicked.

"Anyway, what would they have her do?"

Me: Okay. As for that part, I have no idea.

(Kim blinks— and all of a sudden chills begin to go down her spine.)

Kim: "...why do I not have a consistent catchphrase of stunned expression like Ian- and I assume Rever- do?"

(Freddie promptly whimpers and hides under a table, shaking with fear. All of Kim's Pokemon have chills going down their spine, and many of them give each other major Oh, Crap! looks. Orwell, meanwhile, paces around the room, and even Elton is frozen with a look of panic on his face.)

Kim: "My assumption... my assumption is that they would have Meloetta destroy the entire Jubilife Stadium... or worse..."

Cafe Sonata

"... What would they even get out of that?" Julius asked.

"And no, I don't have a catchphrase for that. Closest thing you'd get from me in that category is, 'oh.'"

Café Sonata

Me: Though I know not what our saboteurs would have Meloetta do, I know that we mustn't drop out of the Battle due to fear.

Evelyn: Even if they DON'T want Meloetta, we mustn't lose hope.

Me: You got it, Evelyn!

Me: Not in the slightest! It would take more than a record-breaking performance to make New Dawn's Dreamers hide below the horizon! And besides, there's still the loser's bracket which can give us our second wind! You said it yourself!

The super-effective, compounding acid put poor Gossifluer out of commission. Milo withdrew him.

Milo: “I get the case for pesticides, but don’t you think that was a tad excessive? It’ll take more than a little poison to do us in! Go, Eldegoss! It’s Dynamax time! Plow through the Stunky with a Max Overgrowth!”

Milo Dynamaxes the Eldegoss, who winds up for the Grass Max Move.

Logan: Oh yes please—my number's always ope—

-Mareep-

...I was reminiscing on some shenanigans with another Mareep, but...

-blink- Huh.

Addie: -sparkle- <I'm afraid I don't understand what you're saying!> ^w^

Luxor: -blink- <Looks like a nerd.>

Megan: -opens mouth-

-and they kinda blink for a moment, realizing they're discussing-

Pippy: -heavy metal screech-

-point at the sky- <I'm gonna wait at the highest peak in the land (wherever that is) an' await yer best shot!>

Vee: -nudge- <No, no see, this is the part where you say "I'm not gonna lose to you!">

Megan: I dunno if that's accurate??

Vee: -ignoring this- <An' then I'm all, -laughs maniacally->

-she laughs maniacally-

Kim: "Simple. I-"

(And then all of a sudden, she is interrupted by a rustling coming from ahead of her.)

Kim: (looks around) "What was that? Was that a Rookiedee?"

(Seconds later, a voice pierces through the woods— a harsh brogue- almost a mix of [Scottish] and [Irish], if such an accent is possible.)

???: <Rookadee?! Ya dare ta call me a Rookadee, do ya?!>

(And within seconds, something rolls out of the tall grass— a sheep-like Pokemon. It- or, rather, he- stops just short of tackling Kim to the ground. Instantly, he gets back up on his feet and glares over at Kim.)

Wooloo: <Do I look like a Rookadee to you, lass?!>

Kim: (not intimidated in the least) "No, you look like a Wooloo."

Wooloo: <'Cause I am a Wooloo, ya bloody—> (beat) <...wait, what are ya, anyways?>

Kim: "Not covered in blood, I can assure you of that."

-Monsoon and the Gossifleur lock eyes. The Gossifleur rips of a leaf and launches it at Monsoon.-

-Monsoon takes a deep breath and dives onto her stomach with wings tucked in, water propelling her as she slams her beak into the cotton plant, the Magical Leaf slicing her skin.-

Milo: "Not bad."

Stormchaser, Decemberween

Strange Mareep: <...>

-she sighs, and trundles off down the hallway, ignoring the other signs of battle-

PEFE!Every: ...That was highly peculiar.

-she shrugs-

I'm sure it's fine.

Ever: Heh. I'm, uh...not sure we're there yet.

PEFE!Every: (alarmed) Again, I'm really not a trainer...

-she gestures at herself and Narrow-

-she glances up at the building. Lights of varying colors are flashing out of the window, and a heavy bass thumping can be heard from within-

Ephemera: -Porygon Ho-oh/Exploud?-

Merle: <Well, uh...>

-Ephemera mews in annoyance, then leaps away in the manner that only a telekinetic cat can, landing on the roof of a different building and zipping off into the night-

Merle: <...So we are apparently on our own.>

-she glares at Narrow-

Narrow: <Oh, like I was supposed to see that coming.>

Galar Gym

Milo: "Again, Gossifleur!"

Shaun: "Hail!"

-Another Magical Leaf slices into Monsoon, who calls a storm into being above the arena.-

Monsoon: <Come on! That all you got?>

-Milo frowns as hail buffets both Pokèmon, sending Gossifleur into yellow and Monsoon into red.-

Milo: "What's your play here kid?"

-Shaun smirks.-

Shaun: "Wouldn't you like to know, farmboy."

-Gossifleur repeats the attack again.-

Shaun: "Predictable."

Shaun: "Now, Monsoon!"

-Monsoon clasps her flippers together and takes wide stance. Her eyes seem to rage like a storm.-

Silas follows after Rose, running like mad, glad his legs could take him this far.

"We're gonna hit some obstacle and have to hide aren't we? Getting to the exit can't ever be as easy as walking out a door."

"So what? Least it's exciting? Who doesn't love a near death experience?"

Ribbon lead the group onward into the tunnels, following cleaner looking tracks. There didn't seem to be any mutants or bandits... if anything the tunnels felt very isolated.

"This is creepy... nothing is worse than something in the dark."

Artyom stepped into the light, he was a young man, about 25 years of age, his face was roundish and he had short dark hair on his head, hazel eyes, and quite a few scratches and scars. Light stubble dotted his face, in his right hand was what seemed to be a old service revolver of sorts, the barrel still smoking.

Khan was a Alakazam, who looked older and wiser than most Alakazams, and compared to Artyom didn't seem to... fit, as if he was just a recent addition to the party. <Hunter if you would be so kind,> Khan said.

<Gladly,> Hunter responded digging into Stylus's bag and pulling out the hard drive, <This is where that extra voice is coming from.>

<Fascinating, we have not seen technology like this in->

<Hey give that back!> Stylus responds trying to get up.

"Let's get them on the tram," Artyom said to the others, "Nosalises might be back."

<Nosalises?> Stylus asked.

"Yes, the man- wait you do not know?"

Stylus blinked, <No.>

"Interesting."

Stylus was set down and Artyom inspected him, "You're pretty roughed up but a little first aid will go a long way."

The interesting part for Artyom was Stylus's left arm, it was clearly a prosthetic, but unlike other prosthetics in the underground it was smooth and finely machined, a well built device that seemed fully integrated into his body, perhaps even controlled properly.

Artyom started the tram up, "So what is your name?"

<Call me Stylus,> Stylus responded, it worked as his name more or less now. Every time he tried to correct it to his actual name something in him moved onto that name, <I'm not from around here. This is my friend /Duck/, he's a porygon.>

"Well you've already met me, Khan, and Hunter here. What brings you into the tunnels?"

<Fell in, was with a group and got separated. They might be down here.>

Artyom nodded and turned the Tram's speed up, Hunter spoke up, <Artyom we have to get back to D6 soon, Miller said these scouting journeys can only go so far!>

"I know what Miller said, but our new friend here lost friends of his, we should help."

Khan nodded, <Help one life, you help many others. Perhaps this visitor from strange lands and his allies could help us. The Metro is only growing more restless.>

Stylus stared at Khan, <Strange lands?>

<It is better than saying, "Another world" so to speak.>

Stylus was... very confused.

Arthur's face and palm connected, as Victor looked like he had just lost some braincells to that question.

"Your friend he is... not very bright is he?" Victor asked.

Arthur sighed, "So, how is the reforged sword working out Lita?"

I looked around, heading for the exit. I guess that’s it then. We’re out. I hope we win the Loser’s bracket.

Anyway, the Galar League. I should try doing it soon.

...actually, I have a lot of spare time anyway. I should get a starter to, well, start off.

Route 2, Galar

Kim: "Oh, I'm certainly willing to catch it. So long as this Wooloo is willing to battle me."

Wooloo: (incensed) <What, are ya mad?! Course I'm willing ta battle ya!>

Kim: (smirks) "Well, then. You are on."

(She takes out a PokeBall and throws it in the air.)

Kim: "Elton— red alert!"
