-a yellow Flabebe wearing an armband floats down to join the Gardevoir-

Cady: <I'd say calm down, but I guess you did just fall out of a tree. I wonder where we've ended up?>

Cecelia: <This whole Ersatz alliance thing confuses me.>

-Ian suddenly notices a humanoid Pokemon falling out of a tree-

Me: Huh? Is someone there?

-Ian looks over at Milagros-

Me: Milagros, I think I saw something fall out of a tree... Think we should go see if they're okay?

Milagros: You’re right. Let’s check on them.

He ran over to the “person” who fell out of the tree.

Milagros: It’s a... Gardevoir I think?

Cady: <I guess lack of size has it's benefits, but it's so hard for people not to notice you!>

Cecelia: ~I probably sound crazy, but do you know where we are?~

Raru: <A Gardevoir?! As in... an ACTUAL Gardevoir?!>

Me: D-Did that Gardevoir just... talk?

-looks at Cady-

...and... who's that Pokémon?

-Ian checks his Pokedex-

Pokedex: Flabébé, the Single Bloom Pokémon. A Fairy Type. When it finds a flower it likes, it dwells on that flower its whole life long. It floats in the wind's embrace with an untroubled heart.

Cady: And yes, I'm a human. This cool armband is what allows me to be a pokemon. You get them from the shop me and Cece were just in.

Milagros: Well, not really. I was told that I was on the “mailing list” though. I think it’s sort of the first step for joining them.

Cady: I've heard of the j-team. My little sister's a member and I hope to join. We were on the stormchaser just a bit ago.

Cecelia: ~Then we were trying to get someplace via the ersatz alliance but took the wrong exit. So now we're here.~

Milagros: Yeah. To join, you have to get on the mailing list via interaction with a J-Team member. Then you can hang around them for a while. Then when you unofficially join, you officially join.
