-The Criminal frowns at the black sludge sapping his speed.-

-His smiles comes back when he sees Vierr tossing his daggers back at him.-

The Criminal: Fangs, fly!

-The knives pull out of their trajectory as thrown by Vierr, and intercept the crystals thrown by Pent.-

-The two blasts of water, however, blast him before he quickly disappears in a smoggy cloud before reappearing behind Arika.-

The Criminal: You seem familiar, have I threatened you before?

-His knives still in flight come to a dead stop and stab into the ground. The seeping poison curls down the blades and turns the sand a horrendous, steaming green, releasing clouds of acidic gas.-

Ludmilla: I feel like I'm gonna be sick...

-Ludmilla is braced against the elevator. He face is pale and clammy. Deziree is trying to make her feel better, but the young psychic is still struggling to handle the sheer malignancy that the daggers are emanating.-

Ren: Tch. Fine then.

-The Crater Dart disperses an reforms as the Psycho Wand. Ren grips the rod with both hands and concentrates as the rod rapidly charges his next technic.-

Ren: Grandverse!

-Ren drives the rod into the ground, releasing white, pink, silver, and gold energy throughout the area. The photons prevent status afflictions to all of Ren's allies, and heal also heal them a bit each turn.-

-While Grandverse doesn't dispel Megaverse, it is very apparent due the fading of the purple and blue photons that the effects of Megaverse will end by the Criminal takes his next action.-

Clay Cave:

After a few more moments of walking and looking at his surroundings, Mark would further comment, "Even if this were an abandoned mine, caves like these would normally be crawling with wild pokemon. I'm pretty sure my max repel's worn off, and I'm surprised we haven't run into a stupid zubat or something by now."

Living The Fever Dream

-Kai glances over at Ludmilla. Instead of aiming another attack at the Criminal, she decides to let the dark sludge do the work and instead Jaunt()s over to Ludmilla's side. She kneels down, putting a hand on her shoulder, and does her best to be a calming, soothing presence.-

Kai: Hey. Hang in there, okay? We can beat this guy.

-Vierr, meanwhile, frowns at the knives being redirected.-

Vierr: Thanks for the reminder that I should never in my life try to use projectiles.

-Instead, he chases after the Criminal and tries to use a much more direct Night Slash with Oblivion, and a plain old second swipe with Oathkeeper.-

Over the past day, Shutter has spent the afternoon reading through responses, uploading and transcribing some of the videos, adding to his extensive string-chart, and getting a draft done, he and his Pokemon have decided to kick back and watch trailers. Starting with a hotly anticipated series that hadn't been been given justice in a long, long time.

Fletchling: F—k Crobatman

Gimbal: <Well, that happened.>

Shutter: I don't even like the original but this video made me profoundly angry. And I've seen that one where Crobatman gives out his credit card.

Gimbal: <Shut up. That film was amazing.>

Charger: <I thought that trailer was neat.>

Shutter: They hyped this series for months. They've been making better TV shows than Miracle for the past few seasons. I feel so betrayed. And dig this, the comments section is ablaze.

Gimbal: <When have they not been?>

Shutter: "Anyone who doesn't like this mature version of Fletchling should go read the comics or is a butthurt Miracle fanboy."

Gimbal: <You know what, let's burn that little nitwit.>

Shutter: Seriously, we can literally just watch something else off [YouTube]. Why don't we check our home page. Maybe they got the teaser out.

-The Criminal is blasted back before disappearing in another smoke cloud. He reappears on his sofa, foot on the back of it. He scowls at the healing aura negating his poison as Ludmilla breaths a sigh of relief. Between both Renard and Kai, the color returns to her face.-

The Criminal: Well, looks like you won't do me the favor of dying quickly. Looks like I'd better settle in for the haul then.

-He takes off his jacket and tosses it to the side, revealing a vest and pocket watch chain, along with the sheaths for all of his knives.-

The Criminal: Fangs of Orochi! Return!

-The knives blink from their positions in the ground to their respective pockets.-

The Criminal: What a wonderful day in the neighborhood...

-He holds his hands out, and ugly green sparks begin dancing from the tips of his fingers.-

The Criminal: What a wonderful day for a neighbor...

-He hair spikes back on its end as the green lightning begins leaking from his eyes.-

Kala: Well, I'm bored of staying on the path, so I'mma go explore a bit.

-Kala goes over towards it and starts trying to look inside.-

Kael: <What? No, Kala, there's nothing over there...>

-Kael follows shortly after, making sure there's nothing potentially hazardous nearby.-

Kala: I can't really... uh, see anything. At all. It's not like the glass is tinted or anything, either, there's just nothing there.

Kael: <Well then... that's definitely not normal. Are you sure you're supposed to be messing with this?>

“I think it’s know as a Sentret,” Caliburn asked. “No, I don’t know why he was teal either. Best guess was he wanted to blend in with the sky. He thought that was a good idea,” he chuckled.

The two of them hi-fived. “Good to see you picked up on that,” Colt observed before he grabbed the Beast Ball.

In one smooth gesture, Caliburn used the Moon Stone and returned.

-Kala stops inspecting the window.-

Kala: ...Yyyyyup. Can't see a thing.

-Kael opens the door, looking inside from there.-

Kael: <What, there's nothing here as well? Impossible. I'm not going to—>

Kala: Gotta investigate, Kael! It's a sign of things to come, obviously.

Kael: <This is a terrible idea, but I guess I'll be coming along, anyway. Not like I have anything better to do...>

-Kala and Kael walk into the darkness, the door immediately shutting behind them. In front of them, a bright light in the shape of another door appears to open.-

Kala: Aha! I knew this would lead somewhere!

-Kala rushes over to the newly-opened door, and ends up tripping just as he gets to the other side, losing grip of Kael. Kael recovers from this, and Kala is now on the floor, with Kael standing next to him. The doorway behind them is... decidedly not the one they entered. In fact, they appear to be... on the Stormchaser.-

Kael: <Well... this certainly isn't what I was expecting.>

Kala: I'm ok, I think. Ow...

-a trainer and her female Sigilyph are proceeding down the hallway as Kala and Kael appear. The Sigilpyh pauses and turns sedately to examine them, her single eye glowing red temporarily-

Channah: -just hangs back and regards the sudden visitors silently-
