Abandoned Building

Contantin is taken aback as he is suddenly put on the defensive as he blocks Tagg's strikes with his own constructs. However, one strike catches him off guard and he is knocked back, a nasty cut from the corner of his right lip down to his collarbone starts oozing as he makes a three point land.

Constantin seems shocked as he places three of his fingers on the wound and examines the blood pooling out from it. He places one of the fingers in his mouth and snarls at Tagg.

Constantin: It takes the truth to fool me. Well done.

Constantin notices the debris on the floor of the building that was torn up from the close combat spar not too long ago and licks his teeth again.

Constantin: We end this. Now

Constantin almost instantly bolts off the ground, most likely using the same technique he did when attacking Tagg at the start of the fight, and starts running around the place. With enough traction, he starts running along the walls of the building and focuses his power on the debris around the area. Levitating and firing it at Tagg akin to how a Pokemon would use Psyshock.

Fall City, Past

-Candace and Garuda both concentrate for a moment before the both of them let out a breath of relief.-

Hildr: <It worked! Yay!>

Anja: <Neat-o. Catch you guys later.>

-Anja heads off as Candace and Garuda look over at Pent.-

Garuda: <That worked well.>

Candace: <Ugh... I hate this song, but it's not that bad.>

-As the debris gets closer-

Ah darn it...

-And starts Detecting out of the way, managing to slice a large piece of debris in half harmlessly using my Aura-charged e-tool-

He's getting sloppy, time to push him.

You are crazier than a March hare aren't you? What, do you think beating me will make Fool start dating you like a Miltank being fought over by Tauros?

Abandon Building

Constantin is still running along the wall as he rotates his hands in a circular fashion around eachother, gathering small bits of debris into an orbit like formation around his hands.

Constantin: Two minus one equals one, non? Cement is just for the weight, mon ami.

When the cloud of debris around his hands becomes large enough; Constantin fashions it into a bolas, leaps off the wall and throws the makeshift weapon at Tagg. His normal menacing and calculated chuckle has bee replaced by a disturbingly child-like giggle and his hands are now bruised and cut from the debris.

Constantin: -Chuckling as he toys with the gears on his bracers- This has been a fun game~

Garuda: <Indeed - but the crisis has been averted.>

Candace: <Next time, though, be careful what you take into your mind. That, or get a spamware filter.>

Hildr: <A what?>

Candace: <I dunno, I heard Doofenshmirtz talk about it once.>

-As my powers start slowing down my perception as I charge Aura beneath my feet-

Yup, you're definitely crazy.

I have to give you credit for helping me come up with this though.

-And launches myself while cloaked with Aura at an angle to avoid the bola, aiming straight for Constantin-

Garuda: <Now, if you'll excuse me - I must return to my research with Dom and Laharl regarding the possibility of returning you to your regular body, alongside Deziree and Psyche.>

Hildr: <... Wait, Laharl? He's helping you do research?!>

Garuda: <He wishes to one-up Ajax in terms of being helpful.>

Cun Annwn: <I guess that counts as a constructive rivalry...?>

With his new surge of energy. Constantin parries out of the way of the attack, but not before his right shoulder is cut by Tagg's attack.

Constantin: You fight like a berserker. Not surprising. I bet that's all people will remember you by when I kill you. That you were a cruel fighter.

Tagg may notice that Constantin's eyes have changed from their usual coffee brown to a rather eerie shade of pink.

Constantin: Normally I would prefer sneaky tactics and trickery, which is what I am hard-wired to be. A thief~

Constantin changes his constructs from his Bagh Nakhas to Katar blades as he thrusts at Tagg, hoping to strike him.

Constantin exhales deeply and chuckles again, his body pretty much soaked in his blood.

Constantin: "There is only one sin, and that is theft. When you commit adultery. You steal his wife's right to a husband, rob his children of a father. When you tell a lie, you steal someone's right to the truth. When you cheat, you steal the right to fairness"

"When you kill a man, you steal a life."

Constantin does the teeth-licking thing again.

Constantin: What can I say? It's in the blood~ Speaking of...

Constantin telekentically pull some of the dripping blood from his skin, clothes and floor and fashions it into a psychic manipulated whip, and begins to snap at Tagg with it.

-Dodging Constantin's blood whip-

Holy shit you're deranged.

-And uses my e-tool to send some pulverized debris in his eyes-

I might want to try ending this soon.

Constantin hisses as some of the debris gets in his eyes.

Constantin: -Taking a few steps back- How dare you! You filthy négre!

Even though he's been temporarily blinded, Constantin uses his psychic sense to detect Tagg's location and continues to strike at him with the makeshift weapon.

Were this earlier in the battle, when Constantin's calculated and steadfast mettle was still in tact, he would be able to see this comment for what it was: an attempt to goad him into a position where he would be vulnerable or taken advantage of. However, this far into the battle, his own powers had taken a form of their own and further fractured his already rather unstable mind. As such, he lunges at Tagg with a hellish, piercing scream. attacking with both the whip and his Katar constructs.

Constantin is hit by the backhand and flung against the wall, causing a flurry of dust and debris to cloud the area around him. As the dust settles, Constantin can be seen trying to push himself up, but a culmination of bloodloss, injuries and the use of his psychic powers has left him too weak to even manage to pull himself up, and he falls unconscious.

That's what I'm trying to figure out, I can't shake the feeling he had some contingencies in place in case he lost, and he doesn't have a concussion so he'll be waking up soon enough.

-Turns around while Doc pulls out the Gambolpuddy gauntlet, while I pull out my armband-

I hope you're not here for a fight, I still have enough energy in me for a Round 2, but I'm not doing another duel.

Shaka motions his arms in a vertical fashion to get across the point that he's not here to attack anyone and that Tagg should stop being on the offensive.

Shaka: <Calm your tits, I'm not here to fight you. That is on the bottom of the list of things I want to do during my tenure here on earth. I'm just here to fetch Fancypants over there before he causes any more trouble for you lot.>

Despite his rather brash tone, it's obvious that Shaka means no harm to either Doc or Tagg.

Shaka: <I have to abide by The Vow too, yannow.>

Shaka picks up his trainer's longcoat before moving towards his blood-soaked, unconscious trainer. Examining him from head to toe.

Shaka: <Jesus fucking Christ Constantin, How far CAN you really fall? I bet the amount of spinning Brutus would be doing in whatever pit the Comte made his grave would power a medium sized city.>

Shaka picks up the body of his trainer and slings him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. He sighs as he begins to make his way out of the building.

Shaka: <I would apologize for the behaviour of my trainer, but what he has done is near unforgivable and has been since... I don't know, Fifteen I believe it was when he finally snapped? Regardless, if it were up to me I would have him live the rest of his days on a desolate mountain top where he can't hurt no-one, but Kahina and I are not in charge of his broken mind.>

Shaka removes a large slab of debris out of the doorway.

Shaka: <I wish there was something I could do. No really, I do. But I know that once my trainer recovers he's going to attempt to assault you once again. Next time he will probably be stronger, with more tricks up his sleeve. I can see today that he's done quite a number on you. I hope you are wise enough to anticipate that this isn't going to be the last time we meet...>

Shake gestures to the torn up ruin of a building.

Shaka: <...Like this.>
