-Herbert looks taken aback.-

Herbert: What? No! She's planning on doing something dangerous, and I'm not going to be around to help her out. So if you guys could make sure she doesn't do anything to put herself in further danger, then I'd appreciate it. Of course, if you'd rather not, I'm sure one of my own mons can fill the role.

-Teacher folds his tentacles at Crow.-

Teacher: <You had better find it, you know. How else am I supposed to attract crowds of adoring admirers?>

Illusion Member ♀: Right, yeah, I heard that whole Flare thing was pretty pricey.

-She gestures behind her with her coffee mug.-

-Herbert rolls his eyes.-

Herbert: Well, the words "Illusion Project" probably don't mean anything to you, do they?

Teacher: <Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. All beings are naturally inclined to adore me. Some just need more encouragement than others.>

-The room is small and spartan, bearing more resemblance to the sleeping quarters in a submarine than anything, but it looks reasonably well lived-in. A Purrloin is sleeping on the bed, and the Illusion Member takes a seat next to it.-

Illusion Member ♀: "Nice" wouldn't be the word I used. But she's not nearly as cold as she pretends to be.

Constantin watches Terry as he leaves and goes back to drinking his coffee.

Constantin: I can understand why some of the admins see me as poison to their perfect little chain of command. I have an undeniable presence and influence regardless of official rank.

Illusion Grunt: I bet she's really sweet, if troubled. Despite being cold, I wouldn't say I'm intimidated by her...

The grunt shivers.

He gave us better coffee.

Terri: Please. I've drank dishwater that tasted better!

-Herbert looks impressed for a moment before continuing.-

Herbert: She's planning to. It's part of a whole plan to infiltrate them and suchlike. Problem is, I know exactly what these kind of organisations do to people who think that they can outsmart them.

-He sighs.-

Teacher: <And who are you to order a being as mighty as myself around, hmm?>

-The Illusion Member chuckles.-

Illusion Member ♀: You've never actually talked to Shard, have you? It's a little difficult to tell if she's "cute" or not with that mask of hers. Then again, that hasn't stopped some of the grunts around here from fantasising...

-She shakes her head and pets her Purrloin.-

Illusion Member ♀: But yeah, I'd much rather work for her than, say, Voynich.

"<Oh yeah, I heard about that story... So the plan is for us to infiltrate the place secretly and keep an eye on her while keeping you informed?>" asked Teishi.

Herbert: That's the plan. Keeping me informed would be nice, but really that's not as important as keeping her safe. Her cover's not nearly as crucial as her safety in my eyes.

-He scratches his chin.-

Herbert: Besides, if she goes ahead with the crossdressing plan, then she should be pretty well-disguised anyway...

-Teacher harrumphs.-

Teacher: <Very well then. I'll restrict myself to self-admiration for the time being if you're so insistent about the matter.>

Seeing as how Shadow managed to keep himself hidden from us for a long time, he would be the best to keep tabs on the girl while I could be the one responsible to bring the info and also to come up with something if anything goes wrong.>" said Strider

"<The genius has spoken guys!>" said Shadow, playfully.
