"His office is down this way. You could find something in there. There's probably some way to escape through there or he may have left something behind to tell you where he went. There are a few helipads and the elevators can take you to those."

Citadark Isle, canyon

-Every, having more or less expected this, dives to one side, and hurls a Snag Ball at Muninn, sucking him in-

Everyone! Attack now!

-as should really be obvious, Muninn immediately bursts free of the ball-

-just as two Shadow Balls, two Dragonbreaths, and a Dragon Pulse cut into his reforming figure-

Muninn: -screams, a wave of psychic force shoving Every's flyers back. As the smoke clears, Muninn is revealed mostly unharmed, but with a few feathers scorched off-

Had enough?

Muninn: <Not nearly! You think a few attacks is enough to defeat me?>

I was certainly hoping.

Muninn: -cackles, surveying Every's flyers- <You have a lot to learn about legendaries.> -folds his wings-

-Every's eyes widen- Cover your ears! Now!

-Every's team does so, or equivalent, as Muninn takes off...with a sonic boom that knocks Every, Breeze and Merle flying-

Operations HQ

- Glances away as Tagg attacks the Peons -

And where do you think that would be?

HotStuff: <Should we try interrogating them? You two could probably do some sort of good cop bad cop routine without much effort.>

Velvet: (hears Verax) <... Or we could just listen to that guy.>

Gateon Port, main street

-a Sableye and Manectric are making their way through the gap in the barriers as Beedrill works on putting up more layers of them. Clockwise swoops back and fires an Air Slash in front of them and lets out a Hyper Voice, then goes back to driving back the rest of the oncoming group. Beedrill pauses to fire an Ominous Wind before going back to layering barriers, and Crewe launches a few stones at them-

-the Sableye fires a Shadow Ball at Beedrill, and the Manectric fires off a Discharge-

-Beedrill erects a quick Protect and Clockwise is far enough away to not be hit, but Crewe is grazed by the attack as she dives behind Beedrill's Protect-

Agh!

-Beedrill whirrs in concern-

Eurgh... I'm fine. Just get rid of them.

-he beeps and fires another Ominous Wind. Clockwise loops back and lets out a Hyper Voice. The Manectric stumbles and falls. Mostly thanks to being immune to the Hyper Voice, the Sableye clings on and fires another Shadow Ball at Beedrill. The Rotom beeps in annoyance and fires another Ominous Wind, taking it out-

-panting-

... That's just two of them... I don't know if we can do this...

-nevertheless, she pulls out her slingshot again and starts firing at more peons. Clockwise dives in and snatches two more Pokeball belts, and Beedrill finishes layering enough Reflects and Light Screens to block off the street, and starts making more behind them to strengthen the wall and prevent it from all going out at once-

Operations HQ

Crow: "...Somewhat, but you need to make sure you're not going to fire when you don't intend to or get hurt by the recoil or-"

-Crow and Ghostus are enveloped in smoke-

Ghostus: <Ah, great.>

Lower Levels

Pi starts attacking Peons, knocking them out with the flat of his blade, while Hel and Dorfl deal with their Mons.

Upper Levels

Sabullo: "You... you... bitch!"

"Cidd" sends a Psychic at her.

Operations HQ

The smoke cloud soon dissipates and the peons seemed just as equally lost and confused as to what happened as the others, while at it, Lyuri and Duke the opportunity to knock out a few peons that were inside the cloud with them using their Aura Sense.

"W-What the hell just happened?" asked one of the peons, looking around for the source of the bomb

"Seems like that wasn't part of the plan either" said Lyuri, coughing

"Well, no matter, it's not like it did much to us." said Duke

-Bathory jumps in front of the Psychic quickly, and retaliates with a Shadow Ball-

Kyrie: No, seriously who are you?

   Verax, you have some nerve showing yourself here!   

-And my mons fire a volley of attacks that likely will miss-

"Cidd" throws up a Protect, blocking the shot.

Sabullo: "Fuck you, you bitch! Give him back!"

He sends out Hadrian.

<Hadrian: "Kneel before me, barbarian!">

Gateon Port

-A few Peons, having slipped through the battlefield, find themselves on a rooftop.-

Peon Alpha: Alright, we're gonna flank the Extras and take them down, then we'll meet up with the rest and start overwhelming

???: HAAAAAA HAHAHAHA!

-The sky is split by several immense bolts of energy crashing onto the rooftop. A girl, maybe twenty years old, appears through the glare. She's accompanied by an Eelektross, a Raichu, a Electivire, and three Rotom.-

???: BEHOLD! The Mistress of Ceremonies has ARIIIIIIIIIIIIIVED!

Marduk: <You know, we could have powered Phenac for three hours with that display.>

Gkika: <Oh, don't vorry, sveethot. Ve shtill hef plenty uf juice left.>

???Rachel: BRING THE THUNDER!

Verd: <I! AM! A! CACTUS!>

Citadark Isle, canyon

-as Muninn flies up, he vanishes-

Merle: <Oh, come on. It's not enough he's strong enough to fight us all at once, he's invisible too?>

Not quite. That attack we landed burned off some feathers, so if you see a weird-looking patch, that's where he'll be. Marmalade! Spathi! You two are the physically strongest here, so try and grab him! Salamence, ice his wings. Breeze, you can—

-Every is suddenly sent flying-

Breeze: <Wait, but what did he need me to—>

Marmalade: <Just fight the damn Latios!> -rockets forward, attempting to follow Muninn-

Spathi: -circles in the opposite direction, trying to trap him-

-Salamence and Merle, meanwhile, quickly get out of the way, scanning the battlefield for oddities-

Operations HQ

Verax: -The attacks barely miss him, and he doesn't flinch- "Did you come here for me or Tokarev? And you should be happy. I'm the reason the internal security is shut down. You'd waste your time killing an unarmed, defenseless Peon who's giving you directions Tagg. Go on and kill me if it's really worth your time. At this point I deserve it. Just..."

"... Do what you need to." -Holds his arms up above his head and turns his back to Tagg, then doesn't move-

-Kyrie blinks again-

What do you want? Claraclosecombatthebastiodon.

-Clara happily jumps at Hadrian with a barrage of claws and kicks-

Citadark Isle, Operations HQ

Crow: "...I think we might want to be a bit more cautious than that. I don't remember anything about smoke bombs being in Operations, though I'd guess it wasn't done to help us."

HotStuff: <Wait... That's the guy who threatened you in Agate?>

(somewhat nervously) Mm-hm...

- HotStuff moves in front of me as if to protect me, while I listen to Verax -

... Hey, Tagg? He has a point... It's Tokarev you're after, right...? If there's a chance Tokarev might try to escape, then shouldn't we... you know, hurry up and find him?

Citadark Isle, Operations HQ

-Herbert glances around curiously as the smoke bomb dissipates.-

Herbert: ...Hm.

-He darts forward and knocks out a Peon with the flat side of Tsumugari, Bishop taking care of the Houndoom from earlier before turning his attacks to a Duosion. Herbert then glances back at Crow.-

Herbert: ...We can't afford to hold back. Not now.

Hadrian tanks the hit, taking a fair amount of damage.

<Hadrian: "I am not impressed.">

His frill glows a steely grey, and then launches a barrage of metal fragments, as he uses Metal Burst.

"GIVE ME. THE BALTOY."

"Cidd" launches another Psychic at Bathory.

Operations HQ

-To Verax-

Between nearly killing Crow and I about twice, threatening DS, and just being an overall pain in my side I have more than enough reasons to want you dead...

-After hearing DS-

....but DS is right, I'll deal with you at a later time.

-And walks past him only to stop for a moment-

I do have to wonder why you'd turn your back on Cipher though, I thought you and Tokarev were bosom buddies.

Operations HQ

-The Naida Tank™ finishes off the Peon, and then continues moving down the halls. After a few turns down some hallways, they end up at a large platform elevator-

This is it.

Naida:<Moving onto it then.>

-They move onto hit, and hit a button to make it move. As they do so, a Commander and his Escavalier manage to get onto the elevator-

Commander:Where do you think you're going? Escavalier, Shadow Break!

-The Escavalier wordlessly lunges forward with its arm-

Aurora, Hidden Power!

-Aurora releases a burst of Fighting typed energy, staggering the Escavalier, allowing Artemis to attack it with Foul Play, launching the Escavalier into the Commander-

Commander:Was that supposed to hurt, kid? Escavalier, Megahorn.

-The Escavalier shakes off the Foul Play, and aims its arms to stab Straw-

Bonecrusher! Giga Impact!

-Bonecrusher is quickly sent out, and Bonecrusher plows through the Megahorn, taking minimal damage, and slams into the Commander with his Escavalier again, sending them over the edge, and down the slanted elevator shaft, the Escavalier's fall being cushioned by the commander-

Well, that must've hurt.

Aurora:<Now it's just a long ride up to the airship.>

-Clara is sent flying back-

<GAH!>

-she looks over to him, and rushes over with another Close Combat-

-Bathory is hit and winces before releasing an Ice Beam at Cidd-

-Kyrie, meanwhile, now gets it-

Oh, that Baltoy! Yeah, he's shadowed.

-she rummages through her bag-

Hold on, I have him here somewhere...

Citadark Island, Operations HQ

Crow: "...Fair enough. But I'll be the one using it. You can take it out on me if someone gets away. And you've got a sword anyway."

-Crow gets out his pistol-

-Ghostus, having beaten the Banette, throws a Shadow Ball at the Duosion Bishop is attacking-

Verax: -Not looking at Tagg- "I'm a soldier. I just follow orders. And Cipher is going down. I mean, you're here, aren't you?"

".... But more than that. Tokarev let the one thing I care about vanish. Cipher was doomed to begin with. You're going to get him Tagg. Sure we could kill more people but it's not going to change the fact you all will destroy Cipher."

"..... All my life I've only known one way to live. Then when I find out how to actually enjoy life... because I'm on this side of the coin... I lose it. I lost her. So go on. Get out of here and crush Cipher to dust. I owe nothing to the man who I have killed for all these years. Tokarev isn't anyone's friend. You're either useful to him or a pistol whiping target. I was just another weapon. When I found out how to be human... he didn't lift a finger to help keep that."

"... And why should you care?"

Citadark Isle, canyon

-Spathi has set up a pair of Dragon Claws, watching closely to track the bits of exposed skin-

-unfortunately, what he didn't count on was a Psychic from Muninn, which immobilizes him long enough for the Latios to smash into him-

Spathi: <Argh!>

Munnin: -hisses as he becomes visible again- <I'll make you bleed for daring to oppose me!>

-Munnin drags Spathi into the air, smashing the Salamence into the canyon wall- <You're nothing next to me! Do you understand me? NOTHING!>

Salamence: <I resent that! He's a way better boyfriend than you would be!>

-Salamence rakes her claws down Munnin's back for a Dragon Claw. The Latios screams, flinging Spathi aside and blasting a Luster Purge after Salamence, which she only narrowly swerves around-

Muninn: <Won't hold still, then? I'll make you!>

-Munnin's eyes glow, and Salamence is immobilized. She lets out a squeak of fright as Muninn charges a Dragon Pulse-

Breeze: <Ah, not quite.>

-and Munnin's hold evaporates as Breeze slams his own telekinetic force into Salamence, sending her spinning away to recover. Munnin changes aim instantly to fire the Dragon Pulse at Breeze, but the Chimecho only deflects it with a Protect shield-

Breeze: <You're not the only Psychic here.>

Operations HQ

As the fight goes on, the peons eventually start to run away as they were clearly outmatched.

"Well, at least this problem is dealt with." said Lyuri, panting a bit.

"Wait, aren't we missing someone else?" asked Duke

If someone was to look around, they would see that Neon and his Luxray were gone. Suddenly a voice starts to echo through the area.

"Hahahaha. You like my surprise treat? It's the climax of our little show, so I figured it needed a bit more flavor to it!" said the voice, clearly Alexiel's "But this is too easy isn't it? How about this?"

Suddenly Duke, Herbert and Lyuri's Aura sense starts failing again

"Now you're crippled! I wonder how the girl will fight now? Our actors need to improvise a little more! Hope you don't mind the fact that I sent a few more peons towards you!" said Alexiel

"... Should've guessed he'd pull something like this off." said Lyuri, sighing

"Now that you're without Aura, catch me if you can!" said Alexiel

The area is then silent for a while

"So he is here..." said Duke.
