I could also do without the weird pie puzzle every time I needed to talk to someone
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for you
A spell that raises personality works fine.
Every Hero has his own way of eating yogurtWell, everything listed for the first two years has been releasednote , but there's been a few remasters that aren't on the list. So I think most of what's there is still in the works, but if anything's been cancelled it's probably the remasters
Warning, rambling incoming:
I (kinda?) want to get into The Elder Scrolls, but it is a time commitment and I have multiple never-ending time-suck games already and before I install another Windows game, I want to re-install Windows 7. But Oblivion GOTY deluxe (the one with the horse armor pack) is on sale on gog.com right now. And I'm sick at home and I can't really impulse buy physical things for various reasons. So now I will just sit here and be conflicted about it until the sale is over.
But it brought me to the observation that Oblivion is a game where you can be a catgirl who is also a horse girl. Which I think is interesting, from a linguistic standpoint.
"He betrayed the Staaarks" is not the only problem here.tide yourself over by watching lore videos instead.
Ashen Hollow, The Epic Nate, Fudge Muppet, and Wizards and Warriors all have excellent videos.
Ashen Hollow and Wizards and Warriors mostly talk about history and lore, including religion. Fudge Muppet mostly deals with theories and speculative lore. Epic Nate is mostly fun little tidbits that you may have missed and details about the game including little things most sane people never notice, like the fact that Skyrim has ants.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youOr I can listen to some nice Oblivion music on YouTube.
"He betrayed the Staaarks" is not the only problem here.I started playing Skyrim seriously again for the first time in 10 years and you know what I realized? I have thoroughly outgrown the Dark Brotherhood. They don't appeal to me at all anymore, not least of all because this character has no reason to join an assassin cult. Trouble is, a pretty decent chunk of the game is based around that storyline so it's hard to avoid forever. On my main, I ended up going with Destroy instead of Join. That mission isn't nearly as enjoyable as you'd think so I still ended up feeling empty.
Find the Light in the DarkThat's interesting, because in all my playthroughs, I never really engaged with the Dark Brotherhood questline.
Never did Blood on the Ice, either. Found Windhelm mostly uninteresting.
An Elder Scrolls player character is usually a Featureless Protagonist with no set personaly, an avatar of you, and as such, he has no reason to do any of the quests (including the main), the motivation is from you, the player.
This is one of the strengths of the games.
The Dark Brotherhood is for those who want to play as members of an evil cult, and do more stealth missions.
Personally, if I am doing a "good guy" walkthrough, I will ignore the Dark Brotherhood, the Thieves Guild , the Arena (Oblivion) and most of the Deadric Quests.

Every Hero has his own way of eating yogurtPersonally, I quite enjoy eradicating those murderous scum with delusions of honor, even if the quest to do so is far less in-depth than joining them.
I missed the part where that's my problem.Oblivion is on sale again, I'm sick at home again, I have re-installed Windows 7 since my last post, so, I just bought the game. Currently downloading. My first journey in Tamriel awaits!
My plan is to install the game with no mods and just play a little "fuck around, find out" with a character that probably won't last. No overspecialization, no super-sophisticated custom class. I'll report back how it goes.
"He betrayed the Staaarks" is not the only problem here. All I can say is: be careful not to level up too much.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.I had an Efficient Leveling Nod and Balanced NPC/Creatures Stats Mods fo debug that famoud Oblivion scaling problem.
Sadly I had 77+ other mods active and they broke the Fighters Guild questline during my last 3 quests. I gave up on Oblivion after that.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).For now, it's not really going anywhere. I had to deal with multiple failed downloads, and after I had the game installed, it was already getting late. I still went through the initial cutscene, created my character, and went on to explore the tutorial dungeon. And then I died. I blame it on me being quite tired by then I didn't get the impression that the game was unfair to me, I just confused myself by switching weapons at a bad time.
I'm still interested in playing the game, but right now, I have other things to do that use my capacity for sitting at a desk and using my brain, that is, studying for a university exam. I'll get back to time-intensive gaming sessions after that. Maybe I'll play the tutorial again if I really need a distraction.
"He betrayed the Staaarks" is not the only problem here.I created an enchanted ring that me gives about 6,000x magicka fortification, I call it Infinity for Jujutsu Kaisen nerd points. At first I thought "Ah hell, I just ruined the game" but surprisingly having a bottomless well of energy isn't an instant win button. Since I'm level 50, most monsters and bandits can still kill the shit out of me if they hit me about 3 or 4 times and it turns out Destruction Magic isn't that overpowering unless you're far enough away to spam it.
So it's actually kind of fun trying to be tactical about when to go all out. Sadly, I can't really do followers anymore since cutting loose means they die from AOE attacks.

Find the Light in the DarkThe real gamebreakers are damage reflection and spell absorption.
That's why the Mundane Ring is one of the best in the game. Resist Magic 50% and Reflect Spell 35%? On one ring? Yes please.

Disgusted, but not surprisedMods can break the game yeah, I played base Oblivion with no regrets as a kid.
Still one of the finest gaming times of my life.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.I'm giving it another shot because my Elder Scrolls itch has been ignited.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Right now in my current Skyrim playthrough (as I got myself a new PSN account at the beginning of the year) on PS4, I'm a High Elf, and I favor fire attacks more (as a reference to my 'sona).

New theme music also a boxIs there a in-game book that says that the puzzles in dungeons are to lock the monsters / undead inside?

I for one would much rather play Oblivion without everyone looking like a misshapen potato
Half of my time in this game has been installing mods to make it not look like butt sweat.
