If you activate it before you normal summon for the turn, does it block that, or no?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThe wording is the same as Soul Crossing and the ruling on Soul Crossing is that you still can do your once per turn Normal Summon after doing the Spell Card’s Normal Summon.
Dumb question: has the release of BL C1 cause Number 35 to jump in price? I noticed that it wasn't reprinted like 77 and 84.
I'm still confused why they decided that Soul Exchange retrain should have BEWD on the art.
Considering how the art of Spell Card:Monster Reborn is a manga reference, it would make sense if the art of Spell Card:Soul Exchange would be a manga reference too, right?
But nope, Kaiba never use Soul Exchange to bring out BEWD, except in one moment in an anime-only arc.

We got some support to report! Multiple parts going to be coming out, first up is the Earthbound Prisoners, and yes its the entirity of thid video.
Or as I call them, the BDSM Immortals.
Where there's life, there's hope.I've been thinking about a way to combine the Gandora/Gold Sarc of Light cards with Gizmek Orochi & Makami, but I'm now realizing it's not really synergy so much as it is splashing in those two Gizmeks as you would into any Gren Maju type deck. I like Gren Maju (it's actually one of my favorite real world cards), but I don't like doing common ideas, or archetype decks with little alteration.

The sad, REAL American dichotomySupport.report.part 2 Discussing the archtypes from the gx era: the volcanics, ancient gear, and arcana force slipped in too.
Part 3: Melodious, Watts, and even more ice barriers get their reported support.
Also Guardian.
Where there's life, there's hope.that is a surprise.
I'm expecting the dog to be used more in Gate Guardian decks over Eatos-and-friends.dek.
It's still weird that what was informally known as the "banish zone" is now called the "Banishment." Couldn't have just called it the BZ, to be consistent with the GY?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThe effect refers to guardian monsters who cant be normal summoned or set, so GG cant use it.
Also Melodious is actually winning tournaments in the OCG so yeah they finally got their due dillegence.
Gate Guardian can't be Normal Summoned or Set, so it can be used for it. Principug is effectively useless in an Eatos style Guardian Deck because the only one that can't be Normal Summoned or Set among them is Dreadscythe.
Vegeta: I'm back bitches!Huh? I thought the equip ones...
or right, they just need the respective equips on the field (save for Eatos and Dreadscythe).
Not sure why I though that was supposed to support them in hindsight. Maybe because I though it was an indirect reference to Rafael (who did seem very well off before his family drowned)
Oh i forgot the gaurdian cards can still be normal summoned or set, they just cant be special summoned without their appropriate equip on field. What weird card design
Principug doesn't work with Gate Guardian for any even more esoteric reason: Principug searches a card that 'mentions a Guardian monster', but the Gate Guardian support cards all say 'a Gate Guardian monster' instead of name-dropping any Guardian in particular.
The unexpected thing about Principug is that the only deck that plays a Guardian monster than can't be normally, and cards that namedrop said Guardian monster is Voiceless Voice.
You think equip Guardians when you first read it, and then Gate Guardians on the second read, but the truth is Skull Guardian.
I played the 5D's DS games and the Dragon side of Ancient Gear is legit pretty good at the time. I enjoyed slapping the Gadjiltron Dragon on my Machina deck.
Where there's life, there's hope.I think it might be interesting to make a deck of the new Exodia support and Gold Sarcophagus of Light/Geas Gandora.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyIf they are continuing GSOL then the likely candidates are...
- DMG and her fruity friends
- Celtic Guardian
- Gold/Silver/maybe Platinum Gadget as a new trio (or ancient gear support :P)
- And basically any other monster that he (not Stem) used in DSOD.
I mean we're getting a GSOL version of Summoned Skull. The card itself is on ygorg, and I'd link it except that we don't have a good enough image of it to get an accurate translation of the effect yet. But the translations we have aren't going to be so inaccurate that it becomes something other than a GSOL version of Summoned Skull.

No, the reference is to how Soul Exchange's anime effect is "Both players can tribute the opponent's monsters at the same time". I'm pretty sure no opponent ever exploited this, but it is like that in the anime card text.
