You can't not like Kirby. EVERYONE LOVES KIRBY!
Kirby RULES.
Yo-Yo.
Fast, packs a punch, goes through walls, Gazer Spiral and the dashing spin are great combat moves... and hes fighting with a yo-yo!
What's not to love?
While Gazer Spiral is awesome, it's only SUPER EFFECTIVE against Whispy Woods and Computer Virus, and even then Fire does the job better.
To do Fire's best move, you have to be totally immobile for seconds on end, though.
And Gazer Spiral isn't my most-used part of Yo-Yo. I just love a steady rhythm of "Whip-bam! Whip-bam! Whip-bam!". It's fast and effective, and the sound-effects are oh-so-satisfying.

I've always liked the microphone. There's just something funny about punk-Kirby screaming something in Japanese and the whole screen's enemies exploding! XD
"*BWEE-EE-EEW!*"
"TERIYAAAAA!"
"SYSTEM! SYSTEM!"

If Nintendo's making a new Kirby game, and Kirby games are almost always released at the end of a console's lifespan...

Yeah, that was it! What does Teriya mean anyway? All I've been able to come with is Shining Arrow, which doesn't make sense...

It's just a shout. Seems to be roughly equivalent to something like "YAAAAAH!"
Ah, ok. Thanks for clearing that up. I guess I was reading too much into it.
Actually, the third one's an echoing CHESTO!!!
Whether it's SYSTEEM! or CHESTOO!, that sound effect creeps me right the hell out.
I've always loved Cutter Kirby. I really don't know why - throughout the series it's consistently sucked, or at least been outshined by other things... but what can I say, I love boomerang power.
Also, gotta love Wing, Yoyo, Ice and Kirby's Adventure made me love Hi-Jump Kirby: The Boss Annihilator.
Ball Kirby, on the other hand... I'd rather have Sleep.
I always liked Smash, though I don't own any of the games that have it.
I hope this new Kirby game brings back combo-abilities, like in 64, especially since it already has the multi-sucking thing.
Try Cutter Kirby in Squeak Squad after getting the Cutter Scroll. HUGE blade that is not deterred by obstacles, and smashes the enemy multiple times if you it it at the apex of the turn. AMAZING.
I've always loved power-combining. I have no idea what it was like in Squeak Squad, but that alone has made me want to play it for a very long time.
There are, like, five combinations. Three of them are elemental swords, two are elemental wheels. Not all that much.
They were the (Fire/Spark/Ice) Swords (Spark/Ice) Bombs. The Wheel gained elements from actually running over elemental ground, as did Tornado.

Ice Bomb was great, though.
And I loved screwing around in that one level with Ice Sword.
You know, the ice level that had a room full of waterfalls? I loved clicing the frozen water, breaking it only for it to refreeze.
And Spark Sword works wonders against Meta Knight.
Yeah, but it's not exactly what comes to mind when you think "power-mixing", is it?
It's Kirby. Do you really need a game-breakingly powerful move to win?

Tell that to the new Wii game.
I can't be the only one that punched the air and gave a "HELL YEAH!" while watching that trailer.
I hope they don't add random tripping, like in Brawl.
