The amount of scrolling bosses early on and flying bosses in general leads randomness to believe that doesn't seem accurate.

Okay, most of the bosses that don't come with a gameplay shift.

Susie, clanky, and haltman didn't have corners. And any boss tha consists of 2 or more bosses is guaranteed to be harder to fight by just standing in a corner. Particularly lololo and lalala style bosses like pon and con. Dedede clone is really annoying because you have to keep track of all three of them. Thank god for D3 cannon because that was awesome.

Dedede Clone 2.0 is honestly worse than Pyribbit. Pyribbit is just hard to hit. Dedede Clone has three small, high-speed enemies constantly attacking you, and Archer/Stone doesn’t work because they corner you.

Can't even think of a broken ability that would help with Dedede clone.

Maybe UFO, but that’s locked behind amiibo and has only one invincibility frame attack (its dash +b). I’ll try the True Arena with it and post the results.

Result: UFO Kirby makes Dedede Clone easier. Not easy, but you practically can’t be cornered (because you can fly) and it kills the larger Dededes in two hits.

...I never had any trouble with the ddd clones, and pyribbit consistently ruins any arena runs I have >_>

Speaking of, I beat the True Arena in Triple Deluxe! Yay me!

I honestly think Sectonia Soul might be one of the most well designed Kirby bosses while also still being difficult. Though I do still have some issues with how long she can be untouchable, sometimes.

I don't think i'm going to bother 100%ing the game though. The gold keychains are totally not worth the hassle and I don't feel like dealing with kirby fighters or dedede's drum dash.

You should at least try for the medals since the final bonus level has a treat.

It actually is possible to hit her while she's dashing at the screen if you're quick enough.

So I know we only recently got Wave 2 of the Dream Friends, but when do you guys suspect we'll start hearing about Wave 3 (Magolor, Taranza, and Susie)?

You can also hit Soul of Sectonia during her fireball attack. It's pretty funny if you score a kill during that, with how abruptly she turns back into her bug-head form.

And attacking her Marx vines still counts as damaging her, too, just like in the earlier phase, even though they aren't connected to her body anymore.

Those are Magolor vines. Marx vines only go up and twist a little.

On a similarly Marx-y note, does anyone have tips for Masked Dedede in Super Star Ultra? I always die on him in the True Arena. For those wondering, I use Plasma.

I did make sure to get all the sun gems or whatever! I got all of them as I went along.

Yeah, I don't think I ever had to replay any levels in Triple Deluxe. The Sun Stones were so easy to find.

I think I missed one or two Code Cubes during Planet Robobot, at least.

At least do Drum Dash, the secret level is actually great. Fighters is... a thing. You have to beat it with all abilities for it to count as 100%, which is irritating.

Somehow in many videos I've seen, the players made Dedede Clones look easy (easier than Pyribbit, at least)...

It's interesting to look up Star Allies speedruns because there's a great many story and Ultimate Choice speedruns, while Guest Star, the mode that is clearly designed for speedrunning, has almost nothing.

I wouldn't expect us to get information about one of them until at least next month, personally.

ESP needs to be nerfed.
