I do like how Adeleine can ride on drawings of Kracko, Ice Dragon, and Waiu (Even though, again, I would have preferred Waiu returning as a mini-boss).

Dreamland 3 is more important.

Fun things about the trailer:

• I didn't realize this right away, but the music that plays is the credits music from Kirby 64.
• Also, Adeleine is still a head taller than Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee (assuming he's the same Waddle Dee from 64) while Dedede is only barely taller than her. I love this scale.
• Finally, the picnic table she paints in her food-spawning Friend Move is based on the Goal Game in Kirby 64.

I'm not the only one who's loving this, am I? We seriously have a Kirby game with Meta Knight, the Animal Friends, Gooey, Adeleine and Ribbon all at once!

I'm also loving this.

According to the datamine, it's Magolor, Taranza, Susie, and the Jambastion Mages.

She even has her frantic flailing when she runs out of ideas from her bossfight :3

Apparently, the next update is going to let us have as many save datas as we want on the Friend Quest, and each update will also be updating the routes of the Friends already in the game.

I legit want an entire game based on Adeleine's moveset of summoning paint minions.

On top of what's already been said, I am really loving that we're getting Dream Friends that can provide Zap and Ice energy. It's annoying having to devote an entire team slot in Ultimate Choice just for Zap Energy but now Daroach and Adeleine can cover it along with other elements.

Also I am still balling from Bandana Dee = 64 Dee potentially being Ascended Fanon. Also incredible that we get to use the Crystal Gun. Mid air bosses like Kracko shouldn't be a problem.

He might as well be. He got the name from fans too.

Unrelated but I think it would be interesting to see a kirby game with NP Cs and side quests and stuff. But it would all still be a 2D platformer. Like Terraria except that weird unicorn biome is everything.

Kirby is getting a novel in Japan called "Hoshi no Kirby Star Allies: The Great Pinch of the Universe?!".

A novel. Called "the Great Pinch of the Universe". Oh, yes please, shower my body in your lore. Give me all of it, let me really soak that sweet sweet Kirby lore into the very essence of my being.

^ Japan has nothing called "graphic novel" unlike the west. They do, however, have manga.

Whoa, they don't have graphic novels at all? So how would they sell stories like Watchmen or The Killing Joke?

I mean, it'd be awesome if a Western comic book publisher went and adapted this novel into a miniseries or OGN.

But yeah, I'll admit that sounds like a pipe dream at best...

It's funny. I know that pipe dream means a dream on drugs but I keep imagining dreams inside of pipes and it's hilarious to me.

Adeleine's a lot of fun, you guys.

One of her drawings is an octopus thing that sometimes gets mad and swells up. I can't remember which game it's from.

Having just run through Guest Star as Adeleine, here's some things I can say:

• This update added three new portraits instead of just a shared one, so get to collecting.
• Adeleine's final stage in Guest Star is based on the factory stage. Good luck getting through without your allies getting crushed to death. There's even a pit where you have to fight a bunch of Birdons, based on the miniboss.
• Final boss arena is once again redesigned for the new Dream Friends. The most notable thing is that the reflective floor now depicts the swirling red clouds and weird spinning black hoops of Dark Star.
• For those who were wondering if Adeleine's Morpho Knight fight theme would be either Miracle Matter or Zero Two, let me put it to rest: It's both, as a really awesome medley.
• The ending artwork confirms that Dark Meta Knight is a terrible artist.◊
• Unrelated to Adeleine or Guest Star, DMK's story mode pause description suggests his reason for teaming up with Kirby is that he might want the power of the dark hearts for himself, and is just playing along for now.

Also, since the pause screen doesn't explain it, here's the controls for the three paintable minibosses as far as I can tell:

• Kracko flies freely, like UFO. Pressing the attack button does the double Beam attack, holding it down sustains a bolt straight down for a few seconds or until you let go. You can move during both attacks.
• Ice Dragon can breathe ice breath by holding the attack button, kick an ice block with down + attack, or ground-pound with icicles with down + attack while in the air. It can also fly by holding the jump button.
• Waiu can throw cutters with the attack button, do a weird flash step teleport thing by holding the attack button down, and can do a ground pound with bouncing star by pressing down + attack while in the air.
