Chu said she thought all the jakkai looked too similar to Rhea so she's trying to make them more distinctive.

I thing she left 'normal' a while back considering she may have already be undead after returning from the after life before accessing the magic of the guardians magic. We never did learn what exactly happen to her body, was it taken down into hell and repaired? Considering her grave appeared to be empty on returning to Medius its possible.

I imagine that this will lead to an emotional scene of Buwaro meeting him again and of Darius learning of both Sakido's death and of Iratu's atrocities.
Also why is Darius there personally, when Rhea died her soul when to him, he didn't come to her.

My guess would be more the latter, since if it was the former he wouldn't be surprised. Maybe a "oh right, I forgot you're technically dead," but nothing more.
