It was part of something that said Jack Frost was in the game as an attack for Joker.

Jack Frost isn't in the game at all.

Smash brothers isn't really a good place to start a political debate. Let's just discuss the characters themselves and not start a flame-war, K? Besides, I'd rather have the dragonborn or vault-boy as a bethesda rep.

Anyone else feel like these fake leaks end up giving characters a serious Colbert Bump within the Smash fanbase on a semi-related note? I don't recall many people clamoring so loudly for the Chorus Kids before the Gemastu leak during 4 or Erdick or Doomguy before the post-release leaks for Ultimate for example.

Not really.

Mostly it devolves into people hyping up the character they like most, which is why Erdrick and Banjo keep coming up here.

I used to not be too enthusiastic on the idea of Doomguy's inclusion, and still am not the biggest fan to an extent, but I'd still welcome him happily just for the sake of having gaming's two biggest trans allies in the same game. Don't forget that DK and Doomguy both said Trans Rights.

I want Doomguy for the sheer amount of Mood Whiplash he would cause.

I think Doomguy would be a great choice, because he'd be a much more aggressive Samus/Dark Samus.

Honestly I don't want him in simply because I don't like Doom.

That seems kind of petty. I don’t like F-Zero, I don’t complain about Captain Falcon being in every game.

I mean if he gets in, he get in. I won't go complaining about it every chance I get but it doesn't mean I have to like it either. I don't want Erdrick in either but I'm pretty much resigned to that.

Speaking of F-Zero, I had a thought recently; with Ganondorf's changes in Ultimate, specifically with his A-Attacks, why not give Ganondorf's Original Moveset to Black Shadow? Similar to how Dr. Mario has Mario's original Move Set, or how Young Link has Link's original Move Set. It'd add a new Character from the F-Zero Franchise, even though it'd just be a weird hybrid clone of Captain Falcon and (Old) Ganondorf.

You know what's weird, that they didn't include as a texture in the Stage Builder? Stone. There's no stone texture, and you'd think that would literally be one of the first textures they'd include, maybe after Grass, Dirt, and Wood, but certainly before Denim, Paper, and Sponge.

I'm not seeing how that would interact differently with the other textures.

Stage builder returning always reminds me of the good old days when there were Brawl machinas that told decent stories (my favorite was the Bowser one where he’s low tier and has to deal with it). This seems like a perfect time for those to come back with Ultimate but Youtube’s algorithm doesn’t encourage it and Machina was literally wiped from existence

The lack of a stone texture is pretty weird, though. Not sure about for Wii U but I know Brawl had stone blocks at least, so you'd think they'd bring it back again here.
