At bare minimum I think Cloud’s never showing up in another Smash game. Probably there’ll be more also, but that’s the most obvious. X3

Since Atlus is a subsidiary of Sega, I think it'd take something on the level of a return of the 16-bit era's company politics for anyone from that stable to miss out on future Smash games. From everything I've heard, Sega's only request would be for Nintendo to use even more of their stuff for Smash.
I was late to the party, relatively speaking, and only finally downloaded Joker yesterday. I feel like he's definitely going to fall into Difficult, but Awesome due to having some kill issues without Arsene active (that said, his combo potential even without Arsene feels pretty solid). I need to monkey around with fighting against Joker a bit, but I have the feeling that taking him out when Arsene isn't around is going to be paramount, with the prime way to fight against Arsene and Joker being whiff-and-punish.
Also, I was amused to note that Kirby can eat Eiha if you try to use it when he uses Inhale. I have to presume Wario and Dedede can as well.
Finally, I'm not sure if they're going to do something similar with all the DLC characters, but I love that finishing the fight with All-Out Assault has the game declare Victory or Game right on the "The Show's Over" splash screen, with the Persona 5 wipe to the appropriate next screen.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.

Speaking of Eiha, does anyone know how it works? Sometimes it happens to do knockback even without Arsene.

I think it has really low knockback but huge knockback growth.

I guess because I usually main Ness and don't use his projectiles in a way that would be easily inhaled, I never noticed that before with Wario and Dedede.
For Eiha and knockback, I noticed that it usually has some at higher percentages, though not enough for a kill shot. I've used it to buy breathing room when against multiple foes, though, and I've also been able to set up some rush-in combos in 1-on-1 fights. So far, though I should experiment more, it seems like Joker's up air and forward throw are his best moves for knockback, even without Arsene (there is also his forward smash, but that feels less reliable).

Hoping that if we get another Square Enix character through DLC, then it's a Dragin Quest one.
I'm sure we'll get another Smash, it's just too profitable for Nintendo to abandon even if Sakurai quits. But It's unlikely to happen until the next console, and the Switch has been doing well so I think it will be a good while. Hopefully they'll add more DLC before then... There's so many good characters for Smash, and the next game is unlikely to bring everything back.

I just love seeing all these characters in Smash, even ones I'm neutral on in their main series. I wouldn't care if they had a DLC pack of echoes. Just throw as many bodies into this game as possible.
